Sabrina opened on April 6th at the basement floor of Hankyu Department Store. The pastries are all cute and perfect for souvenirs. There is always a long line! They restock at opening and at 4:00 pm, twice a day. It's hard to find them at night as they sell out quickly. This time, I bought 2 Sabrina bagged pastries and 1 box of 6 pastries. They provide paper bags as well. The individual paper bags are incredibly cute! Not just for souvenirs, but I also want them for myself! In addition to Sabrina, they have other varieties:
- Sabrina: Cute pastries shaped like flowers. They use award-winning butter from the Charente region of France.
- Box of 6: 1,080 yen
- Box of 8: 1,404 yen
- Box of 12: 2,052 yen
- Palmier: Heart-shaped pastries. In the summer, they are plain palmiers, but now they are half-decorated with chocolate.
- Plain (5 pieces): 1,188 yen
- Chocolate-covered (5 pieces): 1,296 yen
- Sabrina and Palmier assortment:
- 9 pieces: 1,869 yen
- 17 pieces: 3,240 yen (with chocolate-covered palmiers)
- Tickle: Cream-filled pastries in a cute tin. Contains macadamia, vanilla, chocolate, almond, pistachio, and strawberry.
- Box of 12: 998 yen
- Box of 27: 2,160 yen
- Tin of 21: 2,376 yen
- Tin of 33: 3,240 yen
- Tin of 60: 5,400 yen
- Butter Cake (requires refrigeration): Weekend limited product made with French fermented butter. I want to try this next time. 1,944 yen.
They line up at the entrance of the west side 4 of the B1F of Hankyu Department Store at opening. (There is no separate line for Sabrina, you line up at the opening line.) Once inside, there is a line on the left for Sabrina, where you can make your purchase. The packaging is so cute - you'll want to show it off! The taste is delicious, so I highly recommend it!
