I visited the Tunedai area in Kita-ku, Sapporo. I have been to the main store in Chuo-ku several times, but this was my first visit to the Tunedai store. The parking lot was spacious, so there was no problem driving there. However, when I arrived, there was already a line of nearly 15 people. The turnover was fast, so I didn't have to wait too long, but it was surprising to see how popular it was. I originally planned to buy two types of sandwiches, but once inside the store, everything looked delicious, so I ended up buying four different types. I also bought the new coffee shake and vanilla shake to cool off from the heat outside. First, the shakes. They were just the right amount of sweetness and tasted very natural and delicious. They are perfect for a drive. Now, the sandwiches. The bread was fluffy and delicious. Each sandwich was generously filled, and every flavor was delicious. Considering the taste and the price, it was definitely worth it. For reference, the sandwiches I bought were: Coffee Fruit for 240 yen, Shrimp Mayo for 280 yen, Tartar Salmon for 270 yen, and Teritama for 270 yen. The shakes were 250 yen each. The sandwich shop had a variety of delicious-looking sandwiches at a reasonable price. I couldn't decide, but ended up choosing the double egg and shrimp mayo sandwiches. The double egg sandwich had plenty of eggs, ham, and lettuce. The eggs were delicious, creamy, with a rich flavor but not too heavy. And it was only 250 yen. The shrimp mayo sandwich was also tasty, with a crispy breaded shrimp patty that complemented the sandwich well. The Aurora sauce was a perfect match. The service at the register was warm and friendly.

The people in front of the line were buying more than 10 sandwiches each! They must have a large family waiting at home with lots of kids! Finally, it was my turn to choose, and I picked "Mentaiko Mayo Gobo," "Ham and Vegetables," and "Salted Pork." I wanted to try the fried foods and salmon tartare too, but it was too much for just one person! The sandwiches I bought were all delicious and I was very satisfied.

The Sandria Sandwich Workshop at the Tonden store has a parking lot and even a security guard, which is nice. Luckily, it wasn't too crowded when I went, so I was able to enter smoothly. Like the main store, there are plenty of sandwiches displayed. It's overwhelming to choose from so many options. The choices for my wife and me were teritama, W egg, tuna, crab cream croquette, fish, tonkatsu, and egg. Can we really eat all of this (laughs)? I'll probably share some with my parents. I safely made the purchase and returned home. We'll have it for dinner later. Probably the egg went to my parents. I'll have everything else! Let's start with the W egg! It was so delicious! The egg sandwich at Sandria is the best, just like I thought when I bought it at the main store. When it comes to egg sandwiches, it has to be chopped boiled eggs mixed with mayonnaise. I won't accept anything else (laughs). And it perfectly matches my taste! The tuna was also excellent. The crab cream croquette might be a unique choice, but it was good in its own way. The best today was probably the "teritama". I can imagine the taste, but it was one of my favorites. It's similar to the teriyaki chicken and egg sandwich I often buy at Seven-Eleven, but simpler and cheaper, making it the best. Even though each sandwich had two pieces, I managed to finish all six varieties (laughs). My wife ate the same amount, so I guess we're a couple who loves to eat (;^ω^) Sandria, you're still delicious!! I'll definitely come back to buy more!! Thank you for the meal♪

The opening hours changed from 11:00 to 9:00, which is great! So I stopped by after work. They had a limited edition chocolate mint flavor, which I don't like but the kids do, so I bought it! I tried a bite and it tasted like chocolate toothpaste (lol). I prefer the salted caramel nut flavor - it's delicious! Sweet, salty, and crunchy, with a fluffy texture. I also had a piece of the bread crust, which was a nice touch. There are so many different types to try, I'm looking forward to trying them all. The business hours have been shortened, and by the evening, the popular items are already sold out. However, my favorite tuna cutlet was still available, so I bought it without hesitation. The lemon flavor is indeed delicious. The uneven zangi... they are too salty. There were limited options, so I bought them, but I think I'm done with them.

Also, due to an egg shortage, sandwiches made with eggs are limited in quantity. The strawberry whip in the photo is so filling that one is enough, and it pairs perfectly with coffee. There were so many varieties that I would like to try others as well.

I think Sandoria's sandwiches are usually a bit bland, but they go so well with the soft and tasty bread. And it's cheaper than convenience store sandwiches! Amazing! I had only tried egg and burdock root before, so I didn't expect this much to be missing, haha. The bread itself is moist and delicious, so it's fine, haha. The zangi had a strong flavor and was quite rich. It seemed like it would be better sandwiched between coppe bread. The meat itself was a bit dry, but the ham cutlet was dense and satisfying. The whip was clearly looser than when I had it at the main shop. It was so loose that I thought it might overflow. The strawberry one was like strawberry milk, which was nice, but the banana one had a slightly unpleasant feeling. I personally prefer the chocolate banana whip to be firmer. In March 2023, a Sangria vending machine was installed near the ticket office on the west side of Sapporo Station, and there was always a line ranging from 30 minutes to 2 hours because the sandwiches couldn't be restocked fast enough. It was incredibly popular! On the day I was able to buy a sandwich, it was a weekday, and on the way back from Joyful Ake, there was no line, so I entered for the first time! There was only one group of customers inside. I want to choose carefully! Prices are generally lower, which is rare in today's price hikes. Everything looks delicious. The appearance is beautiful. My wife selected strawberry and banana, and egg. I chose pork cutlet and ham cutlet. We brought them home and tasted them. First, the pork cutlet. The sour sauce adds a refreshing accent, making it easy to eat the cutlet without feeling heavy. The cutlet is not the thick type that has been popular recently, so I felt that the balance between the bread dough and the cutlet was just right. Delicious. Ham cutlet, ham ham, with the same sour sauce, why did we buy the same type... It's delicious. A nostalgic type of ham cutlet. Strawberry, is there strawberry kneaded into the dough? I can smell the strawberry. A fluffy strawberry sandwich, delicious. The balance between the strawberry and cream is exquisite. We didn't eat the egg and banana. The Assorted Zangi and Custard Whip are exclusive to the Tonden store, while the Strawberry Princess is a limited quantity item available until early April. I purchased one Custard Whip and one Strawberry Princess. The Custard Whip is a double sandwich with custard cream and whipped cream, both with a traditional sweetness. The custard cream was firm. The Strawberry Princess sandwich had pink bread with a hint of strawberry flavor. The sweet and sour taste of the strawberries inside the sweet whipped cream was a delightful contrast.

On this day off, I had curry at Juntaie and did some shopping before arriving at Sandria Tenten Store (a favorite of Governor Suzuki Naomichi of Hokkaido). I had the Double Egg and Zangi Sandwich Part 2 (I had it for lunch the next day at work, and it was delicious with plenty of egg paste, ham, and lettuce in the Double Egg, and the Zangi Sandwich with Sandria's original sweet and spicy Zangi was satisfying and tasty!). My wife bought a fruit sandwich and egg for dinner and we left the shop.

Lately, I have been buying breakfast bread quite often. There are 24-hour shops in Chuo Ward, but this place is more convenient when traveling by car, as there is plenty of parking space. Despite visiting quite late, the display case was fully stocked with a wide variety of items. I later confirmed from the photos that there were a total of 40 items on display. It's amazing that they have this much stock 90 minutes before closing. The store was clean and well-maintained, leaving a good impression. Perhaps due to the upcoming Christmas season, there was a Santa display. Today's purchases included: Double Egg Sandwich for 250 yen, Azuki Whipped Cream Sandwich for 250 yen, Choco Banana Sandwich for 300 yen, and Tandoori Chicken Sandwich for 300 yen. The first two were for me. The Double Egg Sandwich is Sandria's most popular item. It differs from a regular egg sandwich in that it has three slices of bread and additional ingredients like ham. It is quite voluminous with plenty of filling and a rich flavor. The Azuki Whipped Cream Sandwich has become more popular in recent years. I chose it because I love azuki. It is not overly sweet, allowing the sweetness of the azuki to stand out. Paired with a glass of milk, it is the ultimate combination. At only 250 yen, the quality of these sandwiches is unbeatable. I moved from Osaka to Hokkaido about half a year ago, and I have been neglecting to write reviews on Tabelog for a while now. But today, I was so impressed that I decided to write a review. This place is amazing! The sandwiches are cheap, huge, and incredibly delicious! The egg sandwich for 200 yen is cheaper than the sandwiches we used to order in school during junior high. And the fruit sandwich, I mean, selling it at this price? You won't be able to find it anywhere else. In Osaka, fruit sandwiches cost around 500-700 yen, making it unaffordable for ordinary people. I didn't expect to be able to buy it so easily here, so I wasn't mentally prepared and didn't buy it this time. I'll save it for the next time. But what really got me excited was the bread crust! There's so much of it in the bag for only 30 yen! And the one with a mountain of bread crust is 50 yen! My husband made a bread crust gratin for the kids on weekends, which they love. But it has to be made with bread crusts to be delicious! I've been struggling to find bread crusts in Hokkaido, so I ended up buying three bags of 50 yen each, which was a bit too much. And they won't all fit in the freezer... I'm looking forward to having the bread crust gratin tomorrow! ♬
