The atmosphere was more calm than on the first floor, and it was nice. I had tongue, assorted meats, kimchi, yukhoe, and katsu udon. The thick-cut tongue had a good texture and went well with the wasabi sauce. Also, the katsu in the katsu udon had a strong flavor and was delicious.

The atmosphere was great, and the prices were reasonable! We used it for a date. We are light eaters, so even at fancy meat restaurants, we often think, "Is this all?" This time, it was more expensive than we expected. Maybe it's because we only ordered expensive items. However, the taste was definitely delicious. The atmosphere of the restaurant was very calming, and we were able to have a leisurely meal while having a nice conversation.

Located a little off the East Street shopping district in Umeda, this restaurant was a great find. I was worried if they would be open due to a typhoon on the day I visited, but luckily they were. The atmosphere inside was nice, and they even had private booths for couples on a date. The food was delicious, especially the high-quality tongue and the flavorful kalbi. They also had a dish called "nostalgic rice" which was a huge portion, but I didn't have the courage to order it on a date. The katsu udon was also recommended, although I couldn't try it due to my stomach capacity. The prices were not cheap like a budget yakiniku or all-you-can-eat restaurant, but they were reasonable for the quality of meat you get. If you want to enjoy high-quality meat in a nice atmosphere without breaking the bank, this place is perfect. Highly recommended.

This restaurant is a lifesaver during this corona situation. Private rooms! Various enjoyable dishes have drastically changed due to corona. While it's not perfect, you can buy high-quality products at the department store basement for fried foods and sashimi. However, homemade yakiniku just doesn't taste as good. Since there are no year-end parties at all, I decided to splurge a little and go to this restaurant! I didn't really understand the course menu, so I chose based on price alone, and was surprised to find that it included hot pot and the famous udon after the yakiniku. The portions weren't that big, but I was so happy to be able to dine out again that I thoroughly enjoyed it. The meat was very delicious, and the famous katsu udon had a flavorful broth. The sense of security in the private room was also reassuring.

I visited this restaurant over 15 years ago and had a great experience with delicious oxtail udon and hormone dishes. Now, they have expanded to 12 locations nationwide, and I decided to revisit them thanks to the GOTO EAT campaign. I visited the branch next to the main store called Hanare, where they have private rooms which was perfect for me as I had my children with me.
- Oxtail and Offal Hot Pot with Meat (per person/1780 yen): You can order the offal hot pot from just one person, which is convenient. It had plenty of offal and a light soy-based broth that was delicious. I thought it would be nice to finish with some rice porridge.
- Green Onion Oxtail Udon (800 yen): Topped with green onions, this udon was delicious as expected! The oil offal was indeed tasty, and I drank all the broth. The udon was soft and gentle, typical of Osaka style udon. It's perfect for a finishing meal after drinking hormone dishes.
- Legendary Offal and Egg Bowl (600 yen): This dish was even more delicious than I anticipated! The egg was creamy with a beautiful reddish color, and the broth was just right, not too salty. Even my children enjoyed it! It was really tasty for the price. Highly recommended!
Just a note, even if you don't order drinks, there is a separate 300 yen charge per person for table charge. Perhaps consider it as a charge for the private room at Hanare. Although I mainly focused on the oxtail udon, they have a wide variety of menu items, especially hormone dishes. The private rooms are perfect for a small group to relax. I would love to come back here when I crave their food again.

Located on the outskirts of Higashi Umeda, this yakiniku restaurant offers individual private rooms, unlike the main branch. The meat is slightly on the pricier side but is fresh and delicious with a good amount of marbling. While the focus is on horumon (offal), the tongue and kalbi were also exceptionally tasty. The katsu udon had a rich broth which was enjoyable.

I walked from JR Osaka Station. I visited on a weekday night with a last-minute reservation. I requested the 3rd floor as it was available. The 1st floor is a casual restaurant called "Ryuno Su". The 2nd and 3rd floors are "Ryuno Su Hanare". The 3rd floor felt like a high-end lounge. Beer was 680 yen + tax, Calpis was 380 yen, and there was a 300 yen cover charge x2. Thinly sliced lean tongue was 950 yen, top harami was 1480 yen, misuji was 1800 yen, specialty hormone was 480 yen, rice with old tales was 350 yen, fresh kimchi was 680 yen, specialty tetchan was 680 yen, and medium kalbi was 980 yen. The total for two people was 9960 yen including tax. The quality of the meat was excellent. The hormone and tetchan were melt-in-your-mouth. The rice was the same price for all sizes. You could have unlimited refills of kimchi. It was delicious.

I have been to the main branch of Ryuno Su before, but this was my first time here. The restaurant next to the main branch had a luxurious sign. The interior of the restaurant was very nice with all seats in private rooms, giving a high-class feel. We enjoyed yakiniku, horumon, motsunabe, and finished with katsu udon, all-you-can-drink course, and added items like nostalgic rice bowl and yakiniku set. I was very satisfied until the end.

Yakiniku! I eat meat almost every day~ Yakiniku Horumon Ryunosu in Umeda Hanare is nice because the private rooms are relaxing~ I'm happy that they serve Yukke and tongue sashimi~ The Yukke was delicious! It's a shame that you can only order it once per person. I ate a lot of meat and am full of energy today~ The lamp and upper harami were especially delicious. I always order thick-cut tongue wherever I go. I didn't know they were famous for their curry-flavored udon! I ordered the curry-flavored udon. It had a flavor that everyone would like, with no spiciness. I like spicy food, so I found it lacking in punch, but my companion thought it was just right and finished it all. I should have gone for the simple plain udon with flavorful broth. I want to try the curry-flavored udon again. It's amazing that they have low-carb noodles! Thank you for the meal~

I learned that the main store of that dragon's nest is in Umeda, so as a fan of the main store, I visited it, but unfortunately it was full. I was guided to this nearby Hanare. Is a couple seat okay? No, no, there are two men here... In the end, we were guided to a narrow counter seat for two people. The neighboring table also had two middle-aged men. It seemed like they wanted to create a luxurious atmosphere, but I'm not sure about that... Now, starting with the tongue sashimi. Then on to the red meat yakiniku. Hmm, it's quite delicious. Considering the location in Umeda, the cost performance is relatively good. Next, the hormone. This is the true essence of Dragon's Nest. Intestines, maruchan, tripe, and hormones. I don't sense any unpleasant odor. This is delicious. For the finishing touch, we went for a light yakiniku to prepare for the katsu udon. We chose the premium katsu udon from the wide variety available. The noodles are frozen but surprisingly not too soft. They are slightly chewy and mix well with the rich broth full of katsu flavor. I enjoy the broth heartily. It's rich. I resist the urge to drink it all and finish the meal. I could eat it up easily, so I also ordered the katsu donburi. I tried this for the first time, and it's rich and delicious. Katsu x egg x sweet and spicy. There's no way it could be bad. I had a fresh hormone experience.

I picked out a few interesting restaurants and asked my local friends to choose, and they replied with "I've heard of this place before." They're not really gourmet friends, haha. There were several options, but I chose the one with private rooms and made a reservation. When I arrived, it looked like a casual and reasonably priced place, almost like a branch location. When I asked about the private room, I was directed to the second floor. We ordered freely in the private room. The cabbage and kimchi we ordered were refillable. The service was great! The meat was delicious. And they had my favorite, ulte! I had it once in Tsuruhashi and was blown away. I haven't had it in Sapporo before. Is it common here? It wasn't as good as the one in Tsuruhashi, but it was still delicious. Here is the Tsuruhashi restaurant I went to a while ago. I looked at the restaurant's page on Tabelog for the first time and it has high ratings. Delicious food is forever. I wanted to try the katsu udon, but I couldn't because I had shaved ice in the afternoon and was too full. I can't remember if it was low in sugar or gluten-free, but it seemed healthy. I really wanted to try the katsu udon. Speaking of katsu udon... in Sapporo, it's at Futo-san, right? Please make it happen! And add ulte too! I'm satisfied with having ulte! The staff was also very friendly. Thank you for the meal!

I finished work a little late in Umeda and felt like eating horumon, so I asked my friend to make a reservation and we visited together. Since the 1st floor was under renovation, we decided to have our meal at "Hanare" on the 2nd floor. The main seating option was private rooms, creating a calm atmosphere. We started off with a toast with highball, which was just what I needed. We ordered the "Fresh Three Kinds Assortment" and I also ordered the regular full course from the menu. The interior of the restaurant, with its focus on private rooms and a counter, felt luxurious, but a bit too dark. The "Fresh Three Kinds Assortment" arrived and the portion seemed a bit small for the price. The quality was good, but it felt a bit overpriced. The "Special Harami" was slightly dry, as it's important not to overcook it. The "Maruchou" was delicious, perfectly grilled as my friend praised. The restaurant offers a comfortable dining experience in private rooms, although it may be a bit dark. I am interested in trying the "Kasumotsu Nabe" next time with a larger group. They have a variety of kasu udon options and overall, it's a good value for horumon dishes.

When going on a date, a couple seat is definitely the way to go. It's a private room with seats next to each other. You can enjoy delicious yakiniku in a space just for the two of you. I think the quality and atmosphere you can enjoy in Umeda at this price point is very good.

It is quite difficult to make a reservation on the same day, but I really wanted to eat yakiniku alone, so I called and they said it was okay if I came early and by myself. I headed to the restaurant right away. I have been here a few times before, but it was my first time dining alone. I ordered the usual A course with all-you-can-drink option. There are various types of meat to enjoy, so you end up feeling quite full. The course also includes katsu udon and hot pot, so it's quite a generous portion.

The assorted hormone platter is cheap! And of course, the red meat too! Not only cheap, but it was really delicious. I tried the crunchy Napa cabbage kimchi for the first time. And I paired it with fresh makgeolli to drink. Smoking is allowed in private rooms, and I forgot my lighter, so I asked the staff for a spare one. They kindly brought it to me right away with a smile. The restaurant also offers set courses and has a luxurious feel, so I would like to use it for business entertainment.

Recently, when it comes to yakiniku, I used to eat it eagerly in a crowded, smoky place. I thought that was good. But this time, I couldn't make a reservation on the 1st floor, so I booked a table at Hanare. It turned out to be a relaxing dining experience that I couldn't overlook. While the 1st floor is still bustling and lively, the 2nd floor has couple seats and offers a calm semi-private space, which is also very nice. They mainly serve "katsu" (breaded pork cutlet) here, along with horumon (offal) and yakiniku, all of which are very fresh and delicious. The meat is surprisingly fresh and tasty. Today, I tried yakiniku and horumon, and each piece was cooked carefully and labeled with its name, making it easy to savor each bite. The katsu udon for the finishing touch was also delightful. I look forward to trying the hot pot next time.

【Dragon's Nest Umeda Hanare】Located in the Higashi-dori Shotengai, this is an adult hideaway. The second floor has private rooms, while the third floor features an open kitchen counter and cozy sofa seats. You can enjoy the excitement of the chef cutting fresh meat right in front of you at the grilling station. The wine selection is abundant, all available by the glass, so you can choose the perfect pairing for each cut of meat! The older sister who assisted us was very pleasant. When we went with five people, she adjusted the amount of meat so we wouldn't argue, which was wonderful.

The Wagyu yukhoe is definitely delicious - other meats are not bad either. However, the cost performance is quite poor. Also, the serving size is large, so if you only want to eat 2 or 3 slices, it's better to order a single serving. The homemade ice cream tastes like mom's (milky) and I finished it in no time. The ice cream was relatively high at 480 yen for a regular serving.
