It's one of my favorite dishes, so it was disappointing not to be able to fully enjoy its goodness. --- ◆ Food/Taste 2.9 The "Salmon Bowl" comes in a small bowl. The presentation of white rice seems to be typical for this area. It is served with red miso soup. Soy sauce is self-service. The bowl contains six fairly thinly sliced pieces of salmon. Overall, it was quite tender. However, a couple of pieces had a different type of elasticity that was not fresh. The umami flavor characteristic of salmon was completely lacking.
