I was recommended to try Hitsumabushi at this restaurant and it did not disappoint. The eel was generously topped on rice, with a crispy exterior and tender texture. The broth was also delicious. I can't go often, but I definitely want to visit again!

After a long time, I went to eat eel at a long-established eel wholesaler that has been in business for over 90 years. I ordered the Hitsumabushi for 4180 yen (tax included). The first bowl was just eel, the second bowl was eel and condiments mixed with rice, and the third bowl had eel, condiments, rice, and broth poured over it. The flavor was sealed in, with a crispy and fragrant exterior and a juicy interior. This eel is cooked quickly at high heat without steaming. The sauce, passed down since the establishment, combines perfectly with the eel's fat and flavor, creating the ultimate deliciousness. If you become friends on LINE, you can receive bone crackers as a gift. I also ordered a Highball (Dewar's) for 495 yen. During lunch hours (11:00-17:00), you can get a free drink and other limited-time benefits. I am planning to come back for lunch next time. I highly recommend this place for those who want to eat delicious eel.

I visited for lunch on a Saturday. Since the other restaurants on the same floor had long lines, I decided to come here instead. However, the seats filled up quickly after I entered, so I might have just been lucky with the timing. I ordered the recommended hitsumabushi, while my friend ordered the una-juu (grilled eel over rice). We were taught how to eat them properly, and the eel was fluffy and delicious. We could choose to have extra rice at no extra cost. When our food arrived, I thought I should have gotten the extra rice, but I was actually satisfied with the regular portion after eating it. I would like to visit again when I go to Yodobashi next time.

I really wanted to eat eel, so I came here alone! It was 3:00 pm on a weekday, and there weren't many customers, so it was a bit awkward to enter! But soon, a staff member guided me to a table. I had already decided to order the special deluxe eel bowl. After a while, the eel bowl arrived (*´艸`) I was thrilled to enjoy it alone!! It was crispy and flavorful, so delicious! I felt so happy!!! The staff was kind and friendly, which was nice. I definitely want to come back again soon!

I wanted to eat Hitsumabushi at Lucua from noon because it was the Yodogawa fireworks, but the reservations were full all day, so I came to this place for the first time. I ordered the Hitsumabushi and the Unagi (eel) rice bowl, but both had rice that was too mushy, almost like porridge, and too soft. The eel tasted good but it was small and thin. I had just eaten authentic Hitsumabushi in Nagoya about two weeks ago, so I was looking forward to trying it in Osaka, but I was disappointed. Despite the high price, the quality was not up to par to be served to customers. There were also many foreign customers, and I didn't want them to think this was representative of Japanese Hitsumabushi or Unagi rice bowl. Hmm, disappointing.

I couldn't make a same-day reservation and ended up waiting on 7/30, which may have been the reason for the long wait. However, once I placed my order, the food came surprisingly quickly. It was delicious. I'm just glad I got to eat eel.

The hot weather has been draining my energy and motivation, so I decided to visit a restaurant with some friends to enjoy some delicious food. The Links restaurant was bustling with customers, but we managed to find a table as we arrived early. We ordered eel rice bowl and hittsumabushi, and after much deliberation, I chose the hittsumabushi. I haven't had Kansai-style hittsumabushi much before, but it was delicious! I left the restaurant feeling completely satisfied. This place also offers eel bones and a free drink service if you add them as a LINE friend, so be sure to check it out. I went shopping for my son's clothes and shoes in Umeda, and I found a new eel restaurant called Links Umeda. Let's try it for lunch! ✨Unagi no Nakano✨ at LINKS UMEDA I found out about a delicious eel restaurant serving hitsumabushi at LINKS UMEDA, so I decided to go check it out. It was my first time visiting this facility since it became LINKS UMEDA, and I must say, the place was quite spacious and I had to wander around a bit before finding the restaurant. Unagi no Nakano is located on the 8th floor of LINKS UMEDA. The interior of the restaurant was very clean, with counter seats and table seats available. I opted for a counter seat, where I could enjoy watching the eel being cooked right in front of me. It was a delightful experience. I noticed there was another person sitting at the counter besides me, so I believe it's a restaurant where women dining alone can feel comfortable. The skill required to cook eel is quite admirable. For my drink, I chose oolong tea as I wanted something light rather than alcohol. By adding Unagi no Nakano as a friend on LINE, I received eel bone senbei as a complimentary snack. I enjoyed munching on the crispy senbei while sipping my oolong tea. The eel hitsumabushi came in three sizes: small, regular, and large. I opted for the regular size, and when it arrived, I was amazed by how luxurious it looked. The hitsumabushi set came with condiments, tea soup for ochazuke, and was truly a feast for the eyes. Opening the lid revealed a generous amount of eel on a bed of rice, and underneath the eel, there was even more eel. I was thrilled by this surprise. I started with just rice and eel for my first serving, and it was incredibly delicious. The eel was perfectly grilled on the outside and tender on the inside, complemented by the savory sauce. For my second serving, I added condiments to the rice and eel. The combination of nori, wasabi, and small rice crackers was a new experience for me, and it elevated the flavors even more. Every bite was a delight. Lastly, I enjoyed the remaining eel as ochazuke by pouring the tea soup and adding condiments. The light and flavorful tea soup paired excellently with the well-seasoned eel, creating a satisfying dish. The combination of wasabi, nori, and crunchy rice crackers added another layer of enjoyment. I also tried sprinkling some sansho pepper on the eel, and the combination was fantastic. The meal was completed with a light and refreshing citrusy yuzu peel-infused clear soup and pickled cucumbers and daikon. Overall, everything was delicious, and I left the restaurant feeling fully satisfied. As I mentioned before, the eel is carefully selected by an eel wholesaler and is prepared and served fresh in the restaurant. The fresh eel is grilled quickly at high heat without steaming, and the eel's fat and umami that have been accumulated since the establishment are infused into the eel with the "secret sauce" in a large pot. The grilled eel is crispy and fragrant on the skin side, and juicy and tender on the inside. It was so delicious that I cried. The gentle dashi broth combined with the umami of the eel was absolutely delicious. Oh, what happiness. As I write this, I feel like eating it again. The staff's attention and care are also excellent, making it a recommended restaurant where you can enjoy your meal comfortably. Thank you for the delicious meal.

The quality and freshness of the ingredients are outstanding. The eel skin is crispy and fragrant, while the inside is juicy and tender. The secret sauce is not too sweet, and when you taste it, the richness and flavor of the eel blend perfectly. It is undeniably delicious! After enjoying the eel with the sauce, I added plenty of dashi broth to make hitsumabushi. I also had it with condiments like sansho pepper and wasabi. It was the ultimate happiness. By the way, the atmosphere inside the store is also nice, making it a great recommendation for anniversaries or celebrations. Please give it a try! ☺️

The eel had a crispy skin and a tender texture, complemented by the secret sauce which was delicious. The portion size was generous and satisfying. The restaurant has a clean and calm atmosphere, allowing you to enjoy delicious eel dishes. The staff were friendly and I was able to relax and take my time. I love eel - if I crave it again, I would definitely go back. The location is also very convenient.

I visited GW and had hitsumabushi in a bright and clean restaurant. The outside was crispy and the inside was fluffy, making it very delicious. The staff were polite and the atmosphere was comfortable, allowing me to enjoy my meal slowly. There were many foreign customers, and I appreciated the detailed explanation of the condiments. If I may make one luxurious request, it would be nice to have some green onions or other condiments for more flavor variations. Thank you for the meal.

You can really taste the deliciousness of the eel, and the secret sauce passed down from the founding is just the right amount of sweetness, so tasty! You can choose from three levels of rice portion (small, regular, large), I chose regular and it was enough to enjoy until the end! First, eat as is. Next, try it with condiments. Finally, enjoy the stable ochazuke with broth! I love Hitsumabushi because you can enjoy various flavors multiple times. I also enjoyed bone senbei while waiting.
