This time, our accommodation in Hakata was here. We stayed for 2 nights, but we only had breakfast on the morning of the 3rd day. On the morning of the 2nd day, we had to leave quickly due to time constraints before breakfast was served, so we checked in without breakfast. On the morning of the 3rd day, we could relax, so we ordered breakfast as an additional option. Before commenting on the breakfast, I would like to point out a few things I noticed about the hotel's atmosphere. First of all, the location is a bit hard to find as you have to step inside from the main street. The front desk is simple and chic, with a good atmosphere, and the hotel staff are friendly. The room is a twin room, quite spacious and comfortable, with adequate facilities. However, there were some things I noticed when using the room. Firstly, there is no bathroom, only a shower room. While this may be understandable given the international clientele in Hakata, it seems like a design flaw as water tends to flow into the sink area, and using a rolled-up bath towel as a partition under the glass door of the shower room is unsightly. The door to the sink area is stylish but does not close properly. This may be a bit awkward as it is also the toilet area. Additionally, while it's good to have chargers for different types of devices, the charging speed is too slow. The TV is positioned too far to one side and cannot be adjusted, making it difficult to view from the bed at the back. Also, the lighting can be turned on and off but cannot be adjusted, which would have been preferable. As for breakfast, the selection is decent with a mix of Japanese and Western dishes in a buffet style. Salad, bacon, scrambled eggs, rice, bread, and cereals are all available. As expected in Hakata, there was also mentaiko in a small dish, so I couldn't resist getting more rice. Surprisingly, there was no natto anywhere. It's common in Eastern Japan, but understandable that it's not available in Kyushu. Overall, I think the hospitality, including meals, is generally good. We stayed for 2 nights and 3 days. By the way, the price for breakfast alone is 1,500 yen per person. I purchased the accommodation along with round-trip plane tickets online.
