To change things up, I stay at different places. This time, it's my first time at the Toyo Hotel. Breakfast is served buffet style in spacious seats. The drink options are plentiful. I drank my usual tomato juice, milk, and coffee. The rice was light, but I finished all the side dishes normally served. I liked this hotel, so it seems like it will become my regular stay for a while. I ate too much for breakfast... Thank you for the meal.

I stayed overnight to attend a year-end party with my friends. I couldn't remember what time I returned to the hotel the night before, so I decided to have breakfast. I had to buy a breakfast ticket from a vending machine-like device in front of the breakfast venue, which cost 1000 yen. It's a bit pricey, but not unusual. Inside, the breakfast venue had typical dishes like natto, grilled fish, and tamagoyaki. It was okay, nothing special. It would have been nice to have curry or something more interesting. Overall, the food was average and seemed like pre-made dishes. I don't think I'll have breakfast here again for this price. A breakfast set from Yoshinoya would be good enough. I was on a business trip to Fukuoka and usually stay at the Green Hotel, but it was fully booked so I stayed here instead. I noticed there were many foreign guests. The front desk staff were friendly and provided good service to the overseas guests. The room felt a bit old but it was quiet even though it was along the road. The breakfast was average. It may be a bit far from the station, but it could be a good option for taking a taxi back after drinking in Nakasu or other places.
