Enjoying Okinawan live music while having island cuisine at Taisho Okinawa Cuisine Fuuta Maido! Yamadera. On this day, I had Okinawan cuisine at Taisho. The restaurant is called Fuuta. I also uploaded a video on YouTube, so please check it out if you're interested. Let's go inside the restaurant. It was empty when I arrived at the opening time. I ordered a plain chu-hai for 300 yen. The appetizer was tuna and onion mayo salad. For side dishes, I ordered carrot stir-fry for 500 yen. It was a simple yet delicious dish with plenty of carrots and eggs. Another dish I ordered was goya champuru for 650 yen. Goya is a must-have ingredient in Okinawan cuisine, and its bitterness is addictive. After that, I enjoyed the Okinawan live music while having a great time eating and drinking. It was a delightful experience. Thank you for the meal.

You can enjoy a wonderful Shima-uta live performance at Taisho Station! Taisho Shima-uta Live Wind Song Highsai ~ Yamadera This day, after enjoying a ladder drink in Taisho, I felt like listening to Shima-uta live, so I visited the Shima-uta live shop "Kazeuta" in front of Taisho Station on the loop line! The shop is located on the second floor of the building, and you climb a slightly steep staircase. When you open the door, you will find a one-floor tatami mat interior where you can sit back and enjoy food and drinks at the table. The menu is also extensive, with various Okinawan dishes to enjoy. I, Yamadera, decided to drink Awahori water mixed with black sugar sake for 500 yen. I had potato salad as a snack. The potato salad, made with plenty of eggs, is my favorite. I also had Shima-ryukyu, Jimami tofu for 400 yen, and Goya Champuru for 650 yen, but I forgot to take photos... Of course, every dish was delicious, and this place has become my favorite. The first Shima-uta live performance started at 19:30. The sound of the sanshin really healed me, and I was able to enjoy the best atmosphere. It's a great place to easily enjoy Okinawa in front of Taisho Station in Osaka. I will definitely visit again. Thank you for the delicious meal. ☆Basic Information☆ Address: 1-4-9 Mikage Higashi, Taisho-ku, Osaka City, Osaka Prefecture Closed on Mondays Business hours: 18:00-24:00 (LO.23:00) Difficulty entering alone: ★★☆☆☆ (average)

The atmosphere is very cozy. It feels like visiting a grandfather's house in the countryside. There was no live music that day due to a slight sense of COVID-19, so only regular customers were around. The cozy atmosphere might make it a bit hard for newcomers to blend in at first, but if you keep coming back, you might start feeling like going to see the owner's face and having a meal at home. The food was really delicious!

I went to a restaurant in Taisho Ward known for Okinawan cuisine. When I entered the restaurant, an Okinawan folk music live performance was in full swing and the atmosphere was lively.
