シュンママ
Good evening! This is Shun Mama. My workplace is located just past the Kuromon Market in Osaka Nihonbashi, at the entrance to Den-Den Town. For lunch, I often buy food from the supermarkets and delis in Kuromon Market. One of my favorite places is Ishibashi Shokuhin, with a 100% repeat rate. What makes this place so great is first and foremost the customer service! It's a family-run business, with the father and mother, their son and daughter-in-law, and their older brother all being very friendly and welcoming. The mother especially always greets me with a smile and a friendly comment. The daughter-in-law's service is also fantastic, always making me feel like I made a good choice. Oh, and about the location of the shop, you can find it by taking exit 10 of Nihonbashi Station, heading into the shopping street from the pet shop, turning right at the fruit shop called Nabeji, and continuing straight. Once you pass Minamishimazu, the fugu shop, you'll see Ishibashi Shokuhin on your left. In this season, you'll know you've found it when you see the simmering oden. The side dishes and bento boxes they offer are all delicious. The recommended dishes are displayed at the front, with a variety of bento options next to them. The main dishes include simmered fish, grilled fish, hamburger steak, fried chicken, sardine fry, shrimp fry, minced meat cutlet, okra paste, etc. The side dishes include salmon marinated salad, glass noodle salad, simmered chicken, fried eggplant, boiled turnips, boiled warabi, hirousu, simmered bamboo shoots, macaroni salad, rolled omelette, etc. Each bento box contains about 7 side dishes. And the price? It's only 520 yen. Isn't that cheap? With so many dishes, it's good for your health too! The taste is not like the factory-made food you find in department stores or convenience stores, it's full of homemade goodness. And they add hot rice to your order. The rice has a soft texture that I personally love. As you can see in the photos, there are more side dishes than rice. You won't find this anywhere else! On the days I eat Ishibashi Shokuhin's bento, I'm not hungry even at 7 pm (laughs). It's the most satisfying bento I've ever had. Another recommendation is their oden. You can also take this home. They pack it up for you, making it perfect for a cold winter lunch! Especially the daikon radish is surprisingly large, and the broth is delicious. The other side dishes are also top-notch.
