During the Golden Week holiday in May, I visited Fukuoka and stayed overnight near Nakasu. I enjoyed dinner at this restaurant, which was located close to the hotel where I stayed. The restaurant specialized in teppanyaki, offering courses with lobster, steak, and oysters. I chose the oyster course with all-you-can-drink option. Despite the strong wind that day, I dined on the terrace overlooking the Nakagawa River in Nakasu. The view from the 5th floor was beautiful, especially as the sun set. The course included a salad, a selection of 3 types of fresh oysters, 2 types of baked oysters (you could choose from options like plain, gratin, garlic herb, sea urchin cream), oyster ajillo, oyster and chips, oyster cream pasta, and dessert. The selection of fresh oysters included varieties from Iwate, Miyagi, and Hyogo prefectures, all of which were delicious and full of flavor. The baked oysters were my favorite, especially the gratin style. The oyster ajillo was flavorful, and the oyster and chips were crispy and tasty. The oyster cream pasta was rich and creamy, pairing well with drinks. I also added a lobster with garlic butter before dessert, which was a delightful treat. The staff even showed us the live lobster before cooking it. Despite being full, I enjoyed every bite until the end. Thank you for the delicious meal.
