When I stayed at the hotel, there was a champagne service and I was able to enjoy a very elegant moment overlooking the beautiful Katsura River. I found this place more relaxing than the hotel. I recommend the terrace seats. Even in the hot summer, it gets a little cooler in the evening, making it perfect to enjoy champagne on the terrace. Champagne and sweets assortment.

I made a reservation for an Afternoon Tea with Champagne for ¥9000. The course included free-flowing soft drinks and matcha tea. There were many tempting soft drink options, but I couldn't drink too much, so I was a bit torn. I thought maybe I could have done without the Champagne, but it was served at the perfect temperature and I was quite satisfied. The dishes were served in small portions, allowing me to enjoy a variety of flavors. I particularly liked the sake lees and cheese tart for its natural yet rich taste. Despite the rain, I had a wonderful meal in a lovely atmosphere, creating a memorable experience in Kyoto.

Enjoying afternoon tea while admiring the beautiful cherry blossoms in full bloom is truly special, but being limited to a one-hour drink order stop after paying 8,000 yen leaves something to be desired. With a variety of drinks on the menu, it feels rushed to have to enjoy them all quickly.

Here is Yase's Hachisui-sama♪ It's located right next to the hotel (*´・ω-)b. It's quite difficult to make a reservation here, but the timing worked out today\(^-^)/. The parking lot prioritizes overnight guests, so I parked at a nearby coin parking [although it was a crowded day on Saturday, so I had to search around★]. Now, what I received was the Hachisui afternoon tea starting at 15:30☆ My husband had Yoshino Honkuzu and matcha for 1000 yen (人*´∀`). I never thought I could eat Yoshino's Honkuzu here! It is said that there used to be a gallery hall at Kameyama Rikyu, and the traditional "Charyo Hachisui" continues the tradition of the old "Hassho-ken" which has a history of over 100 years. As expected, the top-notch quality is different (*´・ω-)b. We enjoyed it on the terrace overlooking Togetsukyo Bridge and Katsura River☆☆ They also provide stoves and blankets, so the terrace seats are safe even in the middle of winter♡ Now, the Hachisui afternoon tea [3500 yen] had a small cute steamed bun on the top☆ The white one was a cream cheese steamed bun☆ The second tier was a Gateau Chocolat☆☆☆ It's gluten-free(*- -)(*_ _) As expected(*'ω'ノノ゙☆パチパチ The strawberry changes daily, and today it was a strawberry☆ It had a bit of acidity! The bottom tier was Yoshino Honkuzu\(^-^)/ My favorite Yoshino Honkuzu collaborated with matcha♡☆☆☆☆ It was delicious♪ The matcha was included, so the transparency was not clear, but the delicious Yoshino Honkuzu was undeniable☆☆☆ For drinks, the afternoon tea was all-you-can-drink (*´・ω-)b. I was very happy☆ The first drink was Versailles Night... enjoying the fragrance of green tea, cornflower, orange blossom, and fruits☆☆☆ The second drink was chamomile☆☆ The coffee seemed casual, but there were a lot of varieties of tea(ФωФ) This place is a must-visit for its Instagrammable building, view, and sweets☆☆☆ I'll come back again~ Thank you for the meal(*- -)(*_ _)

Afternoon tea at [Tea Room Hachisui], located in Kyoto's Ukyo Ward, Saga Tenryuji Monzen-cho 12 Sui Ran Luxury Collection Hotel Kyoto. Enjoyed the matcha sweets, mini daifuku, homemade gateau chocolat, and jade mochi. Also tried Jardin Bleu with sweet wild strawberry aroma and light acidity, and 7 Parfum with a harmony of fruits and flowers like bergamot and fig. Over 20 types of black tea, herbal tea, etc., enjoyed in a luxurious waterfront setting. It was very delicious. Thank you for the feast. #KyotoGourmet #KyotoCafe #KyotoSweets #KyotoAfternoonTea #ArashiyamaGourmet #ArashiyamaCafe #ArashiyamaSweets #ArashiyamaAfternoonTea #TeaRoomHachisui #AfternoonTeaAtTeaRoomHachisui

I visited for the first time to celebrate my wife's birthday as an adult with an afternoon tea. I was very excited because it was at a luxury collection hotel that I had wanted to stay at for a long time. The location along the river was excellent, and there was an elegant garden, which was amazing. The taste was great, and there was quite a good amount of food, including matcha tea, so I thought it was a good value. I would like to use it again. Thank you for the wonderful meal.

I had a 7500 yen lunch, but the service was low and I didn't feel any hospitality. I made a reservation for a table with a view three months ago, but I was seated at a table indoors where I couldn't see the scenery. The bento box was at a 1500 yen level, and the sweets were at a 1000 yen level. There was nothing that I could look back on as delicious. The location of the terrace seats is the only valuable thing, but the satisfaction level of 7500 yen is not there. It would be better to do business targeting young people in their 10s and 20s at a 2000 yen level.

I have always wanted to try afternoon tea! It was fun to choose from the unique tea options at the restaurant. The food had a good amount of volume, but surprisingly I didn't feel too full after eating. The atmosphere of the restaurant was quiet and relaxing!

I made a reservation to enjoy nun activities while overlooking the Katsura River from the terrace! However, on this day it was around 34 degrees Celsius. The terrace seats did not have air conditioning or sunshades, so it was too hot inside and unbearable. The staff member at the entrance was an elderly man and his service did not match the atmosphere. I was disappointed to be seated inside in a restaurant that advertised terrace seating. But the food was delicious! Everything had an authentic taste. I visited various restaurants during my two-night stay in Kyoto, and this one had the best flavors! I wonder if the same kitchen is used at Arashitei because the quality is very high. The view is great, so I hope they can improve the terrace seating!

My family came to Arashiyama for sightseeing. We wanted to have a leisurely lunch while looking at the Togetsukyo Bridge, so I made a reservation here. It was scorching hot that day. We arrived at 12:30 after touring the bamboo forest. The atmosphere was nice, the staff were courteous, and most importantly, the food was delicious. It may cost a bit of money, but I recommend making a reservation and visiting. It will be a wonderful and valuable experience. You can share a lovely time with your loved ones. When visiting Arashiyama, be sure to consider this restaurant as an option.

One month ago, we made a reservation in advance through Ikyu for 2 people at 12:30 on a Friday. We visited Charyo Hassui x Kameya Yoshinaga for their Japanese-style afternoon tea priced at 5,500 yen per person. The food quality was decent, nothing extraordinary. The ambiance didn't stand out much unless you were seated on the terrace, but we enjoyed a peaceful moment with a view of Arashiyama. The restaurant has a Foodlog rating of 3.53 as of July 2022.

When I got off at Arashiyama Station, the first thing that surprised me was the lack of people. Even though the Gion Festival is happening, I could easily walk around the Togetsukyo Bridge area. I thought I might be able to visit the café "Hassui" at the luxury hotel Suiran without a reservation. When I went there, there were only two other groups of customers... I have never seen Kyoto like this before. I was able to enjoy a leisurely tea while looking at the Hozu River and Arashiyama in front of me.

Located about a 5-minute walk from Togetsukyo Bridge in Arashiyama, this Marriott hotel, Arashisui, has a separate building that offers mainly traditional Japanese sweets from a long-established confectionery shop, with mini-sized meals served almost like a lunch. They also provide a unique Japanese afternoon tea experience with free-flowing tea, including matcha. I chose a terrace seat with a view of the Oi River, which was very pleasant.

Afternoon Tea at "Saryo Hassui" @suirankyotoLocated in a historical building over 100 years old in a separate building at Suiran, a Luxury Collection Hotel Kyoto, "Saryo Hassui" continues the tradition of the former "Hasshoen" in modern times. From the terrace, you can enjoy the breathtaking view of Arashiyama, a place beloved by many historical figures, overlooking the Hozu River and the changing seasons. We savored the summer in Kyoto with a special seat to admire the spectacular view, accompanied by tea snacks and the hospitality of "mushiyashinai."#Mushiyashinai means...in Kyoto dialect, it refers to satisfying temporary hunger, meaning light snacks. It was an afternoon tea that allowed us to enjoy the "daily side dish" in Kyoto dialect, filled with traditional Japanese sweets.✴️Limited time offer 2022.7.1 ~ 8.31Saryo Hassui × Kameya Yoshinaga Japanese Style Afternoon Tea SetCafé Hassui × Kameya Yoshinaga Japanese Style Afternoon Tea Set・Salmon and Shibazuke Temari Sushi・Gluten-free bread, quiche・Yuzu jam and rice flour bread・Mizuna and potato quiche・Matsukaze and shrimp・Spinach with sesame dressing and rock salt・Nishikyo-yaki okra and tomato ohitashi・Avocado and cucumber sandwich・Fish somen noodles・Camembert cheese beef sandwich・Sake lees yogurt・Sasamaki fu・Miso croutons and vegetable brûlée・Corn tofu with salsa sauce・Ubagatama, Mitsumame, SogaiJapanese tea, coffee, black tea, etc. Free-flow of 15 varieties________________Saryo Hassui (Saryo Hassui)Suiran, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Kyoto@suirankyoto121 Saganotenryuji Susukinobabacho, Ukyo-ku, Kyoto City11:00-17:00050-5461-0948#SaryoHassui#KyotoAfternoonTea#Arashisui#SuiranLuxuryCollectionHotelKyoto#KyotoTravel#GirlsTrip#BeautyActivity#SummerKyotoStroll#Tabijo#AdultGirls#KyotoSightseeing#KansaiModel#JapaneseStyle#YukataBeauty#JapaneseStyle#KyotoGourmet#KyotoLunch#ArashiyamaLunch#Arashiyama#SummerStyle#InstagrammableSpot#KyotoAfternoonTea#Marriott#KyotoTrip#KyotoHotel#KyotoGram#KyotoLover

We went to a tea house where we could have the best time together. The brunch cost 6500 yen, which seemed a bit expensive at first, but the elegant and generous meal was definitely worth it. The drinks were all-you-can-drink, and they even served matcha tea. The dishes seem to change depending on the season, but the collaboration sweets with a famous Japanese confectionery were amazing! The service was top-notch, probably because it's located in a hotel. I have no complaints at all. (I was a bit intimidated by the suit-wearing staff waiting at the entrance! haha) It would have been even nicer if we could have eaten on the terrace! This place is perfect for a rare indulgence, a special date with a loved one, or a celebration. Thank you for the wonderful meal.

The afternoon tea at Hachi-sui no Osanji (3163 yen) from 15:30 onwards was only sweets, with 3 types of desserts and all-you-can-drink drinks. The menu changes regularly, and on this day it included matcha and cream cheese manju, brownie, and matcha mochi. The taste was not particularly impressive, and I feel the price is mostly for the ambiance. Thank you for the meal.

I used the champagne free flow for hotel guests. The interior of the restaurant has a nice atmosphere, but the terrace seats have a great view and are highly recommended. The snacks were olives, rice crackers, and black beans. They also sell them. They were unexpectedly delicious ^^ They seem to also have afternoon tea, so I would like to try the sweets next time (о´∀`о) Thank you for the meal♪( ´▽`)

I was able to visit the spot I had always wanted to go to ^ ^ Yaisui, a tea house with a ryokan attached. Just as I had seen in the photos, it is located in the beautiful Arashiyama along the Katsura River. You can feel the essence of traditional Kyoto from its appearance, and the interior with high ceilings and a view of the river is lovely. Although the sunlight was strong, we decided to sit inside, but I think the terrace seats would be especially amazing.
▼Japanese Afternoon Tea 6000 yen
I was able to make a reservation through Tabelog for the Japanese Afternoon Tea only. It came with three collaboration items from the famous Japanese confectionery store Kameya Yoshinaga. There was also an explanation sheet provided, which made the experience enjoyable. The items were unique in taste, and it was all about enjoying the presentation to the fullest. There were plenty of drink options available, and the fact that you could have as many refills as you wanted was great ^ ^ Thank you for the meal.
