When I first visited, I didn't understand anything at all. Even though there was raw fish on the rice, they served white miso soup and said to eat it as a finish. It just seemed like it would be better to eat it raw, right? I suspected that there might be other ways to use white miso. But actually, pouring white miso with kelp on the last cup was delicious. It was tastier than I thought, and the sensation of eating it half-raw was good. Next time I visit, I'm thinking of trying the large serving of rice. With a large serving, the amount of sashimi and remaining rice is just right.

I was in Namba again and felt like having lunch, so I decided to go to Shiroku Jikan. Luckily, there was no line ^_^ I ordered the scallop and squid butter soy sauce o-hitsu as usual, and my partner ordered the tuna and salmon o-hitsu. As always, it was delicious. Thank you for the meal. I will definitely go again.

I was hungry so I went to Namba Nan-nan Street for dinner. I was craving fish, so I went to Shiroku Jichu. I've been to a different branch before and it's one of my favorites. The restaurant was busy. I ordered the three kinds of fish bowl with salmon, tuna, and salmon. The menu at this restaurant offers various ways to enjoy the food. I finished by pouring the broth over the rice. The fish at this restaurant was just okay. The fish at the previous place I went to was much tastier. I would like to try a different branch next time. I love seafood bowls all day, every day♡ I especially enjoy the casual and affordable seafood bowl served in a wooden bowl. The dish comes with three bowls of rice. The first bowl is eaten as is, the second bowl with condiments, and the third bowl with broth poured over it. When you pour the broth, it becomes smooth and delicious. I ordered the "Ocean Colorful Seafood Bowl," which includes Norwegian salmon, tuna, Argentine red shrimp, black mussels, squid, and salmon roe. The seafood is cut into bite-sized pieces, making it easy to eat and the flavors blend together beautifully. Although I always think about trying something else, I end up ordering this dish because it has a variety of ingredients and is a great deal. It always fills me up more than I expect, so if you're hungry for a seafood bowl, I highly recommend it. Thank you for the meal♡

I decided to have lunch around here after walking around a bit tired, and chose this place. I saw the display and photos and thought it looked delicious, so I went in. However, I was a bit disappointed because the white miso soup was a bit bland. The tempura also didn't seem to go well with this white miso rice bowl. It's a matter of personal preference, but the soup being lukewarm was a bit off-putting. I ended up choosing the Tempura-Chazuke, but I think the Hitsumabushi might have been better. Well, there were various menu options, so the evaluation might change depending on what you choose.

Special sea urchin seafood mixed rice 1280 yen. I thought there was not enough seafood for the rice, but when I poured white dashi over it and made it into hitsumabushi, I was able to finish it.

I scooped up the rice, transferred it to the bowl, added condiments like toppings or soy sauce, made it into ochazuke, and enjoyed it in various ways. And then, I took a bite... Munch munch munch... The ochazuke was delicious (*´ー`*)

I found a restaurant called "Shirokujuju Namba Store" in Nannan Town at 3:00 pm on a regular weekday from Namba Station. I ordered the Hokkaido scallop bowl and the deep-fried fish fin set lunch for 890 yen. The bowl had slices of scallops, tuna, shiso leaves, and chopped seaweed on top of rice. The deep-fried fish fin was cut in half for easy eating. The restaurant is known for its delicious rice, but all the other lunch options are also great. It's convenient to have a restaurant like this just a short walk from Namba Station. It was lucky that I arrived just in time for lunch menu. Thank you for the meal.

The shops in Nannan Town are mostly places I have been to before, but there was a shop that I had completely forgotten about. This time, I went in with my friends. We had eel rice bowl (unagi no hitsumabushi) and chicken in black vinegar sauce set meal (a dish similar to sweet and sour pork and simmered vegetables). I had the chicken in black vinegar sauce set meal, and even though I wasn't very hungry, it was good for my health as it had a lot of vegetables. The hitsumabushi was cheaper compared to other shops and seemed to offer good value for money, almost on par with fast food restaurants.

I had lunch in Namba again on this day. I had been there before, so it was easy to find. I ordered the butter soy sauce o-hitsu that I had ordered before! My partner ordered the salmon and tuna o-hitsu! I didn't want to take too much of a risk, so I remembered how delicious it was when I ate it before ^ ^ Of course, there were fresh scallops again this time and they were very delicious! Today's lunch was decided to be at Shirokujichu Namba, which is just a short walk from the subway station in Namba. When I arrived, it was just past lunchtime and there were a few empty seats available. I ordered the seafood o-hitsu for my four friends, and I chose the butter soy sauce o-hitsu for myself. The dishes arrived shortly after. The staff members had friendly smiles and explained that there were three ways to enjoy the dish: as is, with condiments, or as ochazuke. I tried all three ways, but I found that eating it as is allowed me to fully appreciate the freshness of the ingredients. It was a great meal. Thank you.

I was looking for a place in Osaka where I didn't have to drink alcohol at night, and I stumbled upon this place. It wasn't too crowded so I was seated quickly. Prices were around 1000 yen per dish. I ordered the "sea's colorful rice in a wooden box". It came with three different ways to eat it, similar to hitsumabushi. It was quite delicious, especially the tea pickled rice. Although it was empty at first, it got busier as time went on and I saw people waiting outside, so I decided to leave. Overall, the variety of fish on the dish was very tasty. It has become quite cool, to the point where I even feel cold at night. It seems like not long ago I was avoiding the air-conditioned train cars, but now it's a different story. While looking for a place to have lunch in Namba, I stumbled upon a restaurant with photos of fried oysters and steamed oysters. Without hesitation, I went in. Despite it being a weekday, the place was crowded with families. I was seated at the counter and tempted by the daily lunch specials, but ultimately decided on the Oyster Fry Set Meal (999 yen including tax). The dish arrived about 5 minutes later and looked satisfying at first glance. There were 5 medium-sized fried oysters. The plump and juicy oysters were appealing, but they seemed more suitable for hot pot dishes, while the medium-sized ones were perfect for frying. The rice was served in a wooden rice container, and it had a glossy appearance and a slightly soft texture, giving off a sense of autumn. As for the fried oysters, they were lightly fried and tasty, lacking a bit of juiciness but not dry. When I started to scoop the rice from the container, it felt sticky and had a good chewy texture. Eating it with shredded cabbage, I quickly finished the meal. I wanted to eat more fried oysters even if it meant paying extra, but I reminded myself to be cautious of overeating with so many delicious foods available in autumn.

This is a restaurant that focuses on rice dishes, but I'm sorry, we always order alcohol and appetizers. On this day, we had fried oysters. I wanted to have some fried food, but I've never tried fried oysters before. We also ordered a small size salad. Compared to the previous restaurant that wasn't popular, this place has decent customer traffic since it changed. People seem to enjoy rice dishes here, so it must be tasty. The oysters were okay, the salad was okay, and the drinks were okay as well. Considering the prices, it might be a good choice. It's a nice place to casually enjoy a meal.

The other day, I was wandering around Namba and had lunch. The place was a underground shopping arcade right outside the subway station exit. The name of the restaurant was "Shiroku Jichu," and it seemed to be a chain store. It was quite crowded during lunchtime, with mostly female customers. The specialty of this restaurant is their "ohitsu gohan," which is a rice dish with various seafood toppings. You eat it in three ways: as it is, with condiments, and with broth. I chose the salmon and tuna ohitsu gohan. When I tried it plain, it tasted like a regular seafood bowl. Then I added condiments and tried it again, which added some flavor. Lastly, I poured the broth over it, creating a different taste. Overall, the change in taste wasn't dramatic, but it was interesting. If you get bored easily with rice bowl dishes, this restaurant is worth a try. It's a unique place and I recommend giving it a shot if you have the chance!

Today, I welcomed customers from Ibaraki and had a meal in Namba. Since we didn't have much time, we decided to walk around Den-Den Town. We came across a restaurant called Shirokujichu that caught our eye. I liked the idea of having rice served in a wooden tub. Luckily, a four-person table in the back was available. I ordered a mixed set meal (I forgot the name, sorry) and the customer ordered a fried oyster set meal. My set meal included three fried oysters, two pork cutlets, and a shrimp fry. The highlight was the rice served in a tub. At home, I usually eat a mix of sprouted brown rice and barley for health reasons, so eating such clean white rice here was a surprise. The rice had a nice texture and tasted refreshing. However, I made a mistake by getting the large portion, and even I couldn't finish it all. The fried dishes lacked a distinct taste of oil and were a bit lacking in flavor. Overall, the menu was extensive and the restaurant was a decent choice for lunch. Thank you for the meal.

My wife and I visited this restaurant after attending Takashimaya's "Great Gold Exhibition". It was already 8 pm, but I suddenly felt like having simmered flounder with daikon radish. My wife ordered the salmon avocado chirashi set meal, while I opted for the simmered flounder set meal and oyster ponzu with a glass of draft beer.
