I had the sea bream bowl (tax included 540 yen). Hmm, this is... After finishing it, I couldn't help but groan. The taste at this price is quite impressive. Seafood bowls rely on the quality of the ingredients, and the higher the price, the better it is, so there is no limit to how expensive they can get. But the cost performance of this bowl is quite something. The tuna tataki bowl at Sukiya (regular, tax included 580 yen) is also delicious enough considering the price, but the taste of this sea bream bowl is better. The toppings in the sea bream bowl were tuna red meat, negitoro, squid, salmon roe, and sea urchin. The quality of the sea urchin was not the best, and the salmon roe was small with a weak presence, but the red meat, negitoro, and squid were delicious. The rice was vinegared, cooked slightly firm to match the seafood. The temperature of the rice was just right, not too hot or too cold. This is something that only a seafood bowl specialty shop can achieve. Sukiya cannot imitate this. Also, the pickled ginger that came with it was a bit sweet, but surprisingly tasty. I visited shortly after the store opened at 11 am, and there were already customers before me, and more customers came in one after another after me. The popularity is incredible, thanks to the good cost performance. Normally, it seems to be mainly for takeout, but there is a very simple eat-in option, so I had it there this time. The tea was powdered tea, the type often found in conveyor belt sushi restaurants. You dissolve it in hot water in a transparent glass cup, but powdered tea is better enjoyed in a teacup. The color looks too bad in a glass cup, haha. Probably due to cost reasons, the sea urchin and salmon roe may not be of high quality, so choosing a menu without sea urchin and salmon roe might result in higher satisfaction. So next time, I would like to try the Chirashi bowl (tuna red meat, squid, salmon, konoshiro, negitoro, egg, simmered scallop, flying fish roe, oboro), Donmaru bowl (tuna red meat, squid, negitoro, salmon), clam and shirasu bowl, shrimp and crab bowl, green onion mackerel bowl, etc. I am also interested in the Neta Large portion (tax included 815 yen) where the toppings are 1.5 times more. Probably, being the ally of the common people refers to this kind of shop. [Note] I rated it 3.4 as an overall score, considering the cost performance. Please note that this is not a simple taste evaluation. If it were just about taste, I believe there are many more delicious seafood bowls available for around 950 yen.
