Yesterday I had an early dinner at the neighboring "My French Italian" and today I had a late lunch at "My Tempura Bar". I decided to try the set course menu today and also ordered various items a la carte. I was impressed by the attention to detail in the carpaccio, where the taste changes depending on the ingredient. I ordered the pork tempura, which is cooked slowly at a low temperature for an hour, resulting in a slightly pink center that is perfectly cooked. It was tender and satisfyingly hearty. The set course ended with delicious TTKG and cold somen noodles, but it was too much for one person to finish both (laughs). The elderly couple next to me shared the course and also ordered individual items, so it was okay for them to have both dishes. I forgot to take a photo, but the cold somen noodles were also delicious. If ordered separately, TTKG costs 380 yen and cold somen noodles cost 280 yen, making them quite a bargain. I hope you try them out. Well, I'll visit again someday.

Located in Shinsaibashi, Osaka, "Ore no Tempura Bar Shinsaibashi" is a tempura restaurant with a wide variety of options such as black wagyu beef and sea urchin tempura. I tried the rare black truffle tempura and it was delicious! Another surprising dish was the pork tempura which was not listed on the menu. It was huge, tasty, and affordable at only 1000 yen! Definitely worth a visit! #NambaGourmet #OreNoTempuraBarShinsaibashi #Shinsaibashi

I made a reservation for a small course and ordered additional items I wanted to eat. The staff seemed unaware of the course reservation, so I had to speak up to get anything served. The tempura was delicious, and the black wagyu fillet was very tender and tasty, but much smaller than it looked in the photos - just one bite-sized piece for 740 yen. The pacing of the meal was off, and they didn't bring out the final noodles until I asked for them. The spicy sesame noodles as a closer to a meal heavy on fried foods was not ideal. It might be best to think of this as a casual dining spot.

The tempura is cheap but average, but the cost performance and variety are good. With a coupon, you can enjoy a generous portion of tempura, including must-try items like kiss cheese sticks, shrimp, and eggplant tempura. The potato salad is a separate dish, so you can share it before eating. The corn and sea urchin jelly are also must-try items.

Tonight, I had a solo dinner at my favorite tempura bar where I can easily have a drink alone. I ordered the cheapest set menu (1980 yen) and had highballs to drink. I enjoyed crispy tempura along with 3 highballs. I also ordered additional black mushrooms since they weren't included in the set menu. Instead of having TTKG as a finisher, I ended the meal with somen noodles that came with the course, feeling quite full in the end. In the end, it turned out to be a heavier meal than I expected (laughs).

Last time, along with my boss, we went to Mantenryo and were surprised to find my tempura bar, Heart Saisai, right next to the French & Bakery shop. It seems like the former bakery may have started this new venture to overcome the luxury bread market downturn. Today, I made a reservation for a luxurious course featuring blowfish, wagyu beef, and shrimp. We started with a toast with our drinks and enjoyed the first course of pickled mackerel, which was delicious, but I'm not a fan of it so I left most of it uneaten. The tempura dishes, including squid and blowfish, were delicious, and the wagyu beef tempura was especially tasty! However, I was unsure about the fruit sauce on top. I prefer it on the side rather than drizzled on top. The large shrimp tempura was also delicious and overall, it was a luxurious course. The restaurant seems well thought out. Next time, I might just order what I want rather than a set course. (I forgot to take photos this time, so the images used are from the restaurant's website. The last image is a confirmation email I received as proof of my visit.)

This week, I will be turning from an old man to an older man, so I'll be eating out a lot. Today, I visited a tempura bar that I love. My wife and I ordered different courses so that we wouldn't get the same side dishes and because the portions are quite large. My wife was impressed by the black maitake mushrooms, they were really delicious. We ended up ordering more. The classic tempura items like shrimp were naturally delicious. This time, we also ordered eel tempura, and the sauce drizzled on top was delicious. And of course, we couldn't miss out on the TTKG (tempura egg over rice). The staff said that making tempura eggs is not difficult, but the broth poured over it takes a lot of effort. That's why it's so delicious. This place is great for a casual drink as well.

Foie gras and duck foie gras were okay on their own, but the combination was delicious! The meat was average, the sea urchin was okay, but together they were delicious. The shrimp was plump and tasty. It was a delicious meal! Thank you!

I stopped by on my way back because I had passed by before. It was a hot day, but the recommended craft beer was delicious. I was dining alone and was seated at the counter by the window. The counter had a strange shape. It seems that Uni and large shrimp are popular here. They have a popular set that includes these popular items. It may seem a bit extravagant, but it was delicious. I left with a full belly.

Course 3320 had a variety of dishes ranging from 300 to 990 each. After eating and drinking well, the total bill came to around 7000-8000 yen. The chicken, shrimp, and eggplant were all juicy and delicious. The uni and meat dish was rich and flavorful, a must-try for uni lovers (though personally, I might prefer it without uni). The nuts for the table and fragrant kimpira were also tasty and paired well with drinks. I will definitely visit again with friends next time!

Last time I visited, I went right after the opening so the food was a bit too oily probably due to the large crowd, and I ended up with a stomachache. But today, it was fine. The Spring Valley drink comparison set for ¥999 including tax was satisfying with a good amount of drink. The sea urchin meat for ¥999 is a must-try. The foie gras and chicken tempura for ¥1,480 had a weak foie gras flavor. The raw fish carpaccio for ¥780 is a good choice.

The atmosphere of the restaurant was nice with a clean interior, and it seemed popular among female customers. There was a solo female customer at the counter. The small-sized dishes were all stylish and it was nice to be able to try various flavors. The potato salad was delicious. Although tempura was not listed on the menu, some dishes come with two pieces per serving, so it's better to confirm when ordering.

This is the restaurant from that popular series, right? The service was okay, but the food was a bit heavy, probably because it was tempura. I thought the prices could have been a little cheaper, but they were reasonable. Maybe it's better to use this place as a second option. If you're looking for a hearty dinner with tempura, this place might be good for a second round.

The photo of the raw ham in the manju was too delicious!!! The TTKG rice with tempura and egg on top was expected to be half-cooked, but it was a bit hard instead of half-cooked, which was a little disappointing. But, all the other tempura was delicious and satisfying!! The restaurant had chairs so we could relax and enjoy our time with friends, so it was good!

The restaurant originally opened with standing-room-only seating, but due to customer requests, chairs were added to all seats at the end of last month. This time, we ordered a la carte instead of a course menu. I ordered my favorite TTKG again, asking for it to be served immediately rather than as a last dish. And of course, I couldn't miss out on the sea urchin rice bowl. We ordered a lot of small dishes this time, and the marinated soft-boiled egg with mushrooms in ponzu sauce was absolutely delicious. While the cost performance may not always be the best, I learned from a professional that the unseen costs of maintaining frying oil at the right temperature and changing it daily are quite high, which made me understand. That's why sometimes the fried food at the lunch set restaurant I often visit smells a little. They probably haven't changed the oil. This place is part of my series. The staff here also seem very particular, so I'm sure the cost of their frying oil is also quite high. After all, the reason this place became a tempura restaurant after my bakery closed down was because they could no longer get the quality of milk they demanded.

I have used the "Ore Series" tempura restaurant in Tokyo a few times, and when I heard it had opened in Osaka, I made a reservation and visited during my trip. The tempura in Osaka is different from what I have had before. For example, the kiss fish had a crispy batter that was not the usual light and crispy texture. It seemed to absorb a lot of oil, making it difficult to eat. While the ingredients used were of good quality, I felt that they didn't necessarily need to be made into tempura. The cost performance was also not great.

I knew this place opened at the end of last year, but I finally got around to visiting. I went alone intending to just do a quick reconnaissance, but ended up eating and drinking quite a bit (lol). First, I ordered a highball. Then I ordered the "Popular Items Set." First up was the shrimp - nice crispy shrimp came out. There were five different sauces and salts to enjoy with it. I skipped the basil sauce option this time. Next up were the "uni ku" and "ippon anago." You can enjoy them with various salts and sauces that come with them. Next, the biggest hit of the day - TTKG (tempura egg over rice). A soft-boiled egg is tempura-fried and placed on top of rice, then dashi broth is poured over it. I might have to get a refill of this next time. After that, the black maitake mushrooms came out, but I forgot to take a picture. I also ordered some eggplant and chicken tempura. Everything was delicious, and I left the restaurant satisfied. Also, it was a standing-style eatery until last night, but starting from the 27th of this month, all seats will have chairs. Sitting down to eat will cost you a bit more money though (・_・;

This is a tempura bar that just opened in December! Great for dates! The seating is standing style so you can easily drop by. It's nice to see the tempura being fried right in front of you!
Ordered menu items:
- Domestic Conger Eel ¥1180
- Natural Large Shrimp (1 piece) ¥540
- Directly sourced daily special (Black Maiktake Mushroom) ¥380 from Miyagi Prefecture
- Directly sourced daily special (Eggplant) ¥280 from Miyazaki Prefecture
- Raw Ham Tsukune Medley ~Chicken~ ¥380 ~Pork~ ¥480 ~Black Wagyu~ ¥780
- Black Wagyu Fillet ¥1380
- U・NI・KU ¥999
- TTKG ¥380 Tamago-kake Gohan with Black Truffle sauce
All dishes were delicious, freshly made, crispy, and visually appealing! Personally, I highly recommend the Conger Eel and Black Maiktake Mushroom! The aroma of the black Maiktake Mushroom was amazing as soon as it was served, it's hard to describe but the scent was really good. It's a casual place to enjoy, so everyone should give it a try!

I ordered the limited menu of sea urchin, wagyu beef fillet, and shirako. The wagyu beef fillet was incredibly tender and delicious. The pumpkin was highly recommended as it was very sweet and tasty. However, the squid was disappointing as it was overcooked and tough for the price.
