It's very close to Namba Station. Even if it rains, you can get there without getting wet. It seems to be open 24 hours. It's great for having a drink during the day. The staff will grill the food for you, so it's convenient. With three floors, there's usually plenty of seating. The menu for side dishes is extensive. A convenient and easy-to-use place. Thank you for the meal.

I couldn't take many photos, but the portion size was good and the cost performance was definitely great. It's recommended for a lunch drink. However, the limited-time special sets are worth getting early. It's nice to be able to cook and eat fresh food on the stove, and I'd like to try takeout next time.

I went to have lunch drinks with a friend in Namba, and we ended up at Isomaru Suisan Namba Nankai-dori store in Sennichimae. It is a chain of seafood izakaya restaurants found all over Japan. Inside the restaurant, we sat at a table with a stove for grilling shellfish and other seafood. They had a special drink menu from 11:00 to 17:00 with discounted prices like 385 yen for draft beer and 329 yen for highballs and lemon sours. We ordered highballs and draft beer to start with. Then we started ordering food from the menu, which had a variety of seafood dishes including sashimi platters and lunch sets. We used a tablet device to place our orders, which was convenient. Unfortunately, they were out of shellfish that day, so we opted for a sashimi platter (1209 yen), which was generously portioned. We also tried the full-sized eel kabayaki (1869 yen) and bonito sashimi (659 yen). The bonito sashimi was part of their "Katsuo Festival" featuring seasonal flavors. We enjoyed the food and drinks, and I look forward to coming back for more seafood grilling next time. The happy hour prices make it a great spot for daytime drinking.

Visited Isomaru Suisan for the first time in about 2 years. It was around 11:30 PM after a late show, and I was grateful that Isomaru Suisan is open 24 hours. Even at this late hour, the place was full and I had to wait outside for about 10 minutes. I placed my order using the touch panel. Feeling a bit of summer fatigue, I ordered one eel and a highball! The eel was thick and the sauce was delicious. The crab miso and seared mackerel were also consistently tasty, so I couldn't help but have some sake as well. It was a great holiday with more focus on eating than drinking, so I also had a rice bowl. The eldest son needed an iPad for his university classes. After getting ready to go home, we headed to the Namba area with my partner and son. It was crowded in Minami, giving the impression that COVID-19 was over. After purchasing the iPad, we had lunch at a restaurant. It had a beach house vibe with a focus on seafood, and the staff seemed to be mostly international students. We ordered the Isomaru Four-Color Bowl, Potato Pot Salad, Sea Grapes Salad, and Potato Fries. The Isomaru Four-Color Bowl had tuna, yellowtail, salmon, and negitoro, perfect for sashimi lovers. The seafood was fresh and delicious, and considering the current situation, it was reasonably priced. The Sea Grapes were a treat, and the Potato Pot Salad with plenty of mayonnaise was unique and tasty. Despite being a bit late, the place was lively, perhaps due to bonus season. Overall, it was a vibrant and enjoyable dining experience.

I waited about 15 minutes for a table at 4:00 on a regular day and the place was full. The table was a bit small with a cassette stove, so it might be a bit tight for four people. We ordered various seafood bowls and side dishes. You can specify the amount of rice you want. I like to mix wasabi in a small dish and pour it over my food. More wasabi makes it tastier. Eating out for dinner can be a bit pricey, but I felt satisfied with the amount of food I got for the price. Drinks are cheap. I want to visit various Iso Maru restaurants. The staff came to mix the crab shell grill, but I did it myself to make sure it doesn't burn. It took a bit of time to be ready. If you order miso soup at the same time as your meal, it's half price! If you order it later, it's full price. Still, it's cheap! Thank you for the meal.

I visited a shop near the Grand Kagetsu with my friends to grab a bite before the event. It's a nice place where we could relax until the event started. The shop had a lot of seafood dishes, which made it feel lively. The staff were also cheerful, I'm sure they were smiling under their masks! Since it was in the evening, it wasn't too crowded, which was great. My friends and I ordered our favorite dishes. The shellfish dishes were delicious as always! You can grill them yourself, but since I'm not good at it, the staff gave me advice and even helped me grill them (laughs). Thank you very much! We enjoyed tasty dishes at a reasonable price! We'll definitely come back again!

- Raijin: I will have a mix of shochu and plum shochu, diluted with plum wine. The alcohol content is around 18%. The plum wine is delicious, but quite strong, so please be careful. - Seafood salad: It took too long for the seafood salad to come out. I ordered it first, before the drinks, and it came after the rice...? There was a lot of seaweed in it, which was a good point. - Seafood Yukhoe: Tuna and salmon yukhoe. The onions are spicy and the alcohol is noticeable. - Seafood three-color bowl: Tuna, salmon, and negitoro are included. It would be nice if we could order the amount of wasabi in the seafood bowl. - Almond jelly: The taste of milk stands out. People who dislike milk should be careful. - Harasu: It came after the almond jelly. Is it a dessert...? It's oil. I thought the oil would drip down if grilled on a net.

Let's take it easy at Isomaru Suisan. I went to the restaurant with the idea of having a light meal and maybe finishing off with ramen. We started with a toast with Mikansawa (orange-flavored sour cocktail). The appetizer was mozuku seaweed with grated yam on top. We had squid tempura, which was like fried seaweed with plenty of green seaweed added. Next, we tried grilled squid innards with squid, enoki mushrooms, shimeji mushrooms, and butter cooked on a stove. It takes some time for the mushrooms to cook, but it's worth the wait. I used to dislike the bitterness of the innards when I was a kid, but now I enjoy eating them. We also had grilled saury, which was juicy and easy to eat. When we tried to order ramen for the finishing touch, it was sold out. Frustrated, we decided to order instant noodles at home. The bill came out to be 3133 yen for two people.

The chain restaurant with a fish appeal in its name is found everywhere, but when I made a reservation for my first visit, they asked me to show proof of reservation before entering... is that necessary? After showing it, I was finally allowed in. Even though I had reserved a course at the counter, they misunderstood and thought I was ordering a la carte... There was a lot of complaining coming from the kitchen in front of the counter!! It made me feel sad (even though I was actually having a bit of fun). By the way, the female staff who served us after that was really nice. The food was recommended as a course over a la carte, and it was the right choice. The crab miso was delicious!! The service was smoother than expected and the sashimi was good, but the tuna... was the most disappointing I've ever had. It was frozen and soggy, so I think they should just skip serving tuna if it's like that. I visited based on information from someone who had been there before, and it was as expected, so I had a good time (laughs).

It's summer, so I wanted to eat eel. I went back to Isomaru Suisan, which I thought I could visit in the middle of Obon last time. It's near NGK. I ordered oolong tea. The complimentary tuna simmered in soy sauce was delicious. I tried the popular crab miso shell grilled dish. It was cooked slowly with far-infrared rays. It wasn't particularly delicious. The special eel bowl was the main dish. It was quite voluminous, and they grilled it with a burner before serving. The eel was thick and satisfying, and the miso soup was instant but tasty. My main purpose for eating eel is to consume EPA and keep my blood flowing smoothly to prevent stroke. The only concern is whether the eel from China is really fed with food containing EPA. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

So, I decided to check out chain restaurants that serve eel. First, I tried one chain restaurant's eel dish, but unfortunately, the taste was quite disappointing. Undeterred, I decided to visit a 24-hour eel restaurant called Isomaru Suisan. Located near NGK. The staff was attentive in refilling the water, which left a good impression. The cozy interior of the restaurant and simple cutlery added to the experience. I ordered the special eel bowl for 1690 yen plus tax. It took a while, but when the special eel bowl arrived, I was impressed by the generous portion. It seemed like I could get a large amount of EPA from this meal. The instant soup served was delicious. Surprisingly, the eel was easy to cut with chopsticks. The sauce generously coated the rice and tasted delicious. Enjoying such a delicious meal during the Bon festival was truly remarkable. Both the portion size and taste were satisfying. The fact that this restaurant is open 24/7, 365 days a year is fantastic. Even if I crave eel in the middle of the night, it won't be a problem. However, I still think that eating eel late at night, no matter how much EPA I can get, is not good for my body. I went to the second location at Isomaru Suisan Namba Nankai-dori store. Isomaru Suisan, they have locations all over the place, don't they? It's amazing. They are expanding their chain at an incredible speed. There are about five of them just around here. I ordered their number one dish, the crab miso grilled in the shell. I also got some red sausages. The crab miso grilled in the shell is surprisingly delicious. It goes really well with alcohol. It's a great combination. The red sausages were also good. This place is always crowded whenever I come. It doesn't seem like they are affected much by the new coronavirus.

So, I visited "Isomaru Suisan Namba Nankai Street Store" in Namba, Naniwa, on Nankai Street in Osaka. When I entered the restaurant, there was a large tank with bubbling water. I was seated on the second floor. The appetizer was mozuku vinegar. The sashimi platter included salmon, albacore tuna, large shrimp, tuna, yellowtail, and sea bream - all very fresh. I tried smoked herring with olive oil and onion slices. The steamed seafood platter included large clams, scallops, clams, and turban shells - best eaten as is without any sauce. Grilled squid was cut into easy-to-eat pieces with scissors. I ordered three servings of crab miso grilled in the shell, which was delicious when eaten on bread. The whitebait aglio e olio with baguette was seasoned with chili peppers, bay leaves, and olive oil. The deep-fried blowfish was delicious. Steamed white clams on a grill were steamed with the broth dripping onto the grill, creating a delicious flavor. The deep-fried white shrimp was simply seasoned with salt. The sea urchin cream pasta was quite authentic. Island sushi, a local dish from the island, was enjoyed with mustard. The oyster and salmon sea urchin chowder pot was finished by adding sea urchin at the end, creating a delicious fusion of Japanese and Western flavors.

Today is my day off, so I decided to have a light drink in the afternoon. I headed to Isomaru Suisan, which is open 24 hours and always a good choice. It reminded me of the times I used to have daytime drinks in Tokyo. Anyway, instead of a light beer, I went for a Hoppy! I love the nostalgic and soothing feeling that comes with Hoppy, so I always end up ordering it. For starters, I got the "Potato Salad in a Jar" from the speedy menu. It was delicious and just my style, with plenty of potato salad that I love. The crispy tempura bits added a fun texture to the dish. Next, I ordered the "Grilled Crab Miso in the Shell." It was great to see the shell being grilled right in front of me, enjoying the aroma while waiting. For me, the fragrance of crab miso is more important than the taste or texture (laughs). Of course, it tasted delicious, especially with some drinks. Lastly, I had the "Ikura, Salmon, and Negitoro Bowl" as my final dish. It was like a seafood bowl filled with all my favorite ingredients. I always enjoy seafood bowls with these three ingredients, no matter where I go. The only downside was that the "strong" option for drinks cost an extra 50 yen, but it was still a bit weak. Overall, it was a satisfying meal.

Visited the restaurant for the first time around 11:00 on April 23, 2019 (Tuesday, Shijimi Day). I was alone and took the rattling train to have lunch. I ordered the Gold Leaf Azamaru Don for 1,000 yen including tax, a limited-time menu for the 10th-anniversary celebration. It had gold leaf, fatty tuna, and lean tuna. Even though it was a weekday lunch, many people were drinking and having a good time, which made me nervous. I forgot to order extra rice because I was flustered... But it was delicious.
