I came to the usual closing sale again~(*^^*)ゞ The discount rate is higher on weekdays, maybe because it's a weekday (≡^.^≡)♪ I walked around the floor and chose the next dish (≡^.^≡)♪ [Healthy Chicken Over Rice without Frying, ¥666] Regular price ¥991 (tax included) With the consumption tax included, it's a discount of over 300 yen. It's a healthy fried chicken without frying. In other words, it's baked in the oven without frying in oil. So, it's like baked with a coating. Sprinkle the sesame sauce provided on top and it's ready to eat (≡^.^≡) Yum~(^ω^)♪ The coating feels a bit rough, but with less oil, you can enjoy it without feeling guilty. As expected of a vegetable deli, the various vegetables under the fried chicken are delicious (⌒∇⌒)♪ The sesame sauce, or rather a dressing-like sauce, nicely ties everything together. The rice is mixed grain rice, with a nice chewy texture (ﾉ≧∀≦)ﾉ

The food show in Shibuya after 8pm is a discount paradise! I tried a vegetable-packed lunch box for the first time, and I chose the "Hamburg steak bowl with plenty of root vegetables" which usually costs 991 yen (tax included). But with the time sale, it was only 666 yen (tax included)! The price is like a convenience store bento, but it's almost free of additives and delicious. The leafy vegetables are a bit limp, but the root vegetables have a crunchy texture. The Hamburg steak with tomato sauce and buttery corn rice are quite tasty.

After finishing lunch, I went shopping in Shibuya for the first time in a while. On the way back, I stopped for takeout. The shop is located in the basement of Shibuya Station, inside Shibuya Tokyu Food Show Shibuchika. They only offer takeout, no dining in. After some hesitation, I decided to purchase a healthy salad and a bento box. <Takeout> Coriander and Watercress Aromatic Salad ¥815 Mentaiko (spicy cod roe) and grated yam steamed chicken rice ¥908 The coriander and watercress salad was very fresh. The dressing had an ethnic, slightly sweet Thai flavor. The salad was filling and delicious, perfect for a healthy lunch, but a bit lacking if that's all you're having. The bento box contained mentaiko, grated yam, steamed chicken, fried tofu, okra, and ginger, all served on multigrain rice. You pour the toppings over the rice and enjoy a mix of textures and flavors. The small but whole mentaiko was a nice touch, and the combination with the grated yam and multigrain rice was excellent. It was satisfying, healthy, and reasonably priced, so I highly recommend it. It was delicious! Thank you for the meal.

After work, I lined up at Salad Deli Margo at Tokyu Food Show, where there was a long line of women. There were many types of salads to choose from, but I decided on the small size "Super Vegetarian". The dressing was also sold separately, and the salad I bought came with a Nishikyo miso dressing, which was quite delicious. It's a stylish salad specialty shop that I would like to visit again.

Food show has been renovated and reopened. It's so much fun. I bought a medium-sized salad from this shop where salads and vegetable-packed bento boxes are lined up. It cost 880 yen (including 8% tax). I enjoyed it at an area called Shibuya Stand inside the food show. It had roast beef, boiled egg, avocado, and more. I didn't check properly, but the dressing was Southern Island. I like tangy and refreshing dressings, so I wish we could choose our own dressing.

The size is quite small, but the crispiness is excellent.

It was delicious. Getting a discount makes it even better! Just this meal alone was satisfying.
