In the first half of August, at the sixth consecutive branch of the Umeda Burgers chain. Even if you eat it every day, each store has a different charm. Here, there is a summer limited Mexican burger. I chose the Junior size Mexican Avocado Burger, where you can fully enjoy the original guacamole mix and avocado flesh. The set comes with French fry potato M and drink M Pepsi Cola. With crispy tortilla chips, the mood is great... and with a spicy chili sauce, you can also enjoy a foreign atmosphere. The visually colorful tropical burger. Don't forget the beef patty, but the avocado flesh met expectations and increased satisfaction. The Jr. Mexican Avocado Burger set was 950 yen with a coupon. Originally it would have been 1,070 yen, so you save 120 yen. Wendy's First Kitchen Umeda Shibatacho branch.

Wendy's is perfect for a little break. Enjoying a coffee until the next appointment, but it's a shame the lively older sister from last time isn't here. It would be nice if she was here next time. The wording is a bit strong, not feeling the excitement. I forgot to eat a hamburger.

I passed through Umeda early in the morning for some errands, so I stopped by Wendy's to have breakfast. I heard that "ordering everything through a touch panel is interesting," so I decided to try it out. It's a system where you don't really need to interact with the staff, which is good for those who prefer not to be bothered in the morning. There were a lot of customers dining alone, so it seems to cater well to people who want to enjoy their meal in peace. I waited at this Wendy's near Yodobashi Umeda to catch a late-night bus from Osaka to Tokyo. I thought chili might be better for sleeping than a hamburger, so I chose that instead. I remembered being shocked when I first tried chili in high school, and it left a lasting impression on me. It's not so much that it's delicious, but more of a cultural shock. Eating chili always brings back memories of that time. I give it a recommendation score of 70 out of 100.

Lunchtime was getting close to 2:30 PM, so I researched restaurants that were still open. I found this place that I hadn't tried yet, so I decided to check it out. When I entered the restaurant, I was surprised to find out that it was self-service! It was a bit inconvenient for me as I wasn't used to it, but after placing my order and inserting the money, a receipt came out and I waited for my number to be called. I ordered the "Wendy's Burger USA + Plain Potato (Salt) + Iced Coffee" and received my order in about 3 minutes. The burger wasn't very big, and at 650 yen, it felt a bit pricey. I started with the Plain Potato (Salt), which was surprisingly hot and crispy on the outside, with a fluffy and tender inside. It was delicious! The main dish, the Wendy's Burger USA, was lukewarm overall, which was disappointing. The coldness of the tomato and vegetables was quite noticeable. The meat was flavorful, but the rich cheese stood out the most. The bun was soft, which was a redeeming quality. If I had to describe it in one sentence, it's like a cheaper version of Mos Cheeseburger, I guess. The iced coffee had a bitter taste, which paired well with the rich burger. It was a good experience, and I look forward to trying out more burger places next year!

I came to Osaka on a business trip, but it's hard to fully enjoy it alone. I found a Wendy's right in front of the hotel and ordered a Bacon Egg Burger and Mentaiko Shake Shake Potato. The potato was like a mix of McDonald's and KFC, and it was delicious as always.

Self-ordering is super convenient! Unexpectedly, there are power outlets and Wi-Fi available! The second floor has almost all power outlets? I came here for the food, but it's also great for a work cafe!
- Tsukimi BBQ Burger: A classic tsukimi burger. It's satisfying and delicious! Very tasty!
- Wendy's Burger: A US-style burger with crunchy vegetables that are delicious! Both burgers have a strong taste of the ingredients rather than overpowering sauce, highlighting the deliciousness of the ingredients! Burgers that you can eat every day!

It's been a while since I stayed in Umeda for a night of consecutive theater shows. I wanted to spend some relaxing time in the hotel before the show started, but due to the impact of the coronavirus, there was no breakfast included in the plan. I searched nearby and found a nostalgic restaurant very close by. I think it's been about 10 years since I last had fast food. I went there thinking I could order something other than the morning menu, but it didn't work out. Inside the restaurant, there was a contactless register where you could choose everything yourself. They prepare your order while you're making the payment, which is a convenient system for both sides. You can even use PayPay, so you don't need to take out your wallet. Efficient and wonderful. I bought a sausage egg muffin and a small salted potato for 609 yen. It felt a bit pricey to me, coming from Nagoya where you can get a morning set with plenty of coffee for 350 yen. Now, for the taste test in the room. It's... small! I always imagined hamburgers being messy with sauce all around your mouth as you take a big bite. But this one can be eaten elegantly with small bites. The bun is soft, and the sausage has a nice peppery flavor that I like. I wish they would add some lettuce, even just a piece, but I guess that's not how morning menus are. The potato was neither good nor bad. The location is very convenient, but I probably won't use it for my next Umeda morning.

This new product is called the Bacon Mushroom Melt Burger, with a long name but surprisingly compact. It has a salty mushroom melt that really does melt in your mouth. When you take a bite, sliced mushrooms fall all over the place. As a standalone item, it costs 740 yen. You can add a Wendy's Chili M set for an additional 440 yen. In terms of cost performance, it may seem a bit pricey. The Wendy's Chili has beans that feel nice on the teeth. Adding hot chili sauce doesn't really give it a spicy kick. However, the combination of minced meat and beans seems like it would be quite filling. Actually, this sauce tastes great when added to a hamburger. Wendy's First Kitchen Umeda Shibatacho Store.

Around 7 o'clock in the morning. Came to the restaurant to eat a morning set. Sausage, egg, and cheese sandwich set for 560 yen. Round hash potato and coffee. Wendy's is not near my house, so it's been a few years since I last ate here. It might be my first time having breakfast here. I usually eat at McDonald's, so I can't help but compare the two. The burger is small! It's like a McDonald's sausage muffin but a bit smaller. However, the sausage is sticking out. The egg and cheese are also peeking out. The melty cheese is excellent. Delicious! The buns are tasty and the patty is not bad either! It's small but quite satisfying. The round hash potato is a small round hash brown. I see, it's easy to eat and quite good. The coffee is served in a cup, which is nice. The restaurant is small and can get crowded. There seems to be a second floor as well. The first floor has counter seats. It was delicious! Thank you for the meal!

A collaboration project that I thought would only be available in Tokyo, turned out to have three locations nationwide, including this one in Kansai. This collaboration features voice actor Yuuma Uchida, in conjunction with the release of a new song. The restaurant's interior is decorated in Uchida's style. I ordered the White Rice Cake Cream Zenzai set with a hot Uji Matcha Latte. The dessert was a long-time favorite with chewy white rice cakes, smooth red beans, and soft serve ice cream. Delicious! The Wild Rock Meat Burger was meaty and wild, sandwiched between meat instead of bread. The Happy Butter Flavored Potatoes were inspired by Uchida and had a strong buttery aroma. The Melonpan Whipped Cream Sandwich, called Melotto, had a crispy melon bread dough. I enjoyed my meal while being soothed by the Uchida-themed decorations and background music in the restaurant. Thank you for the meal. It's convenient that the restaurant is open from early morning until late at night.

I visited the shop around 9 am on a weekday. It is located in a busy area, but the second floor seating area had about 5 groups of customers, so it was relatively relaxed. Everyone was spending their time reading or working. I ordered the Jr Cheeseburger Deluxe set, which seemed to be a morning set, for 450 yen. The coffee was served in a ceramic mug. The shop was clean and had measures in place for infectious diseases. It is non-smoking and seems suitable for use as a cafe. I felt comfortable, so I would like to visit again.

I feel like there has always been a First Kitchen at this place in Umeda. I remember the chicken from First Kitchen being delicious. So, after probably about 10 years, I revisited. A pack of 4 pieces costs 1050 yen, which seems a bit cheaper compared to other chains. For those who like the taste, they should find it more delicious than chicken specialty shops. It's the kind of chicken you'd want to eat once a week. If your mom made fried chicken of this quality, you'd think she's a cooking genius. It's truly wonderful to taste the same deliciousness after 10 years. Thank you for the meal! 🌟

Maritozzo is a specialty in Rome, Italy, made with brioche dough filled with plenty of whipped cream. It is basically a variation of cream bread, with the taste being described as bread filled with cream. Let's take a look at a popular spot, Maritozzo Days Part 16: "Wendy's First Kitchen Umeda Shibatacho Store" in Osaka. This collaboration between First Kitchen and Wendy's previously sold Taiwan Melon Bread, and now they offer Melon Pan x Maritozzo called Melotto. Melotto Plain is priced at 350 yen, featuring special melon bread filled with whipped cream containing mascarpone cheese in a Maritozzo-style.

First Kitchen is located at the corner of Shibata intersection on the north side of Umeda. I used to visit this place occasionally during my younger days when it was a standalone First Kitchen. However, in recent years, Wendy's and First Kitchen have merged, resulting in a change in the appearance of the signage. I decided to visit after a long time because First Kitchen has been collaborating with various boy bands, voice actors, anime characters, and other popular figures among young people. One of the collaborations that caught my interest was with a seven-member boy band called "〇order." Despite hearing that the Shibuya branch had long lines due to the younger female fanbase, I decided to visit on the last day of the collaboration. Fortunately, there was no queue, and the place seemed to attract a diverse range of customers in terms of age. I ordered the collaboration pasta and dessert using the self-service kiosk on the first floor. As I made my way to the second floor, I noticed panels featuring the seven members of the boy band scattered around the seating area. Despite feeling a bit embarrassed, I found comfort in the fact that other ordinary middle-aged customers were also present. The pasta, although slightly mushy and not up to my refined palate's standards, was decent considering the fast-food chain setting and the collaboration theme.

The hamburger is solid with a good amount of meatiness. You can taste the flavor of the meat. This sets Wendy's apart from other fast food places. The fries have a variety of flavors, which is a great feature of First Kitchen. Despite the lively atmosphere, there are few staff members who are all working hard.

I went to Umeda for a meeting and decided to have breakfast early. I couldn't think of any place in particular, so I ended up going to Wendy's at Shibata intersection. I used to like it before, but this was my first time since they closed down. I was looking forward to it, but I was a bit disappointed by the poor quality burger that looked nothing like the pictures. The taste wasn't as good as before, and considering the price, I don't think I'll be using it often. The self-service register was convenient and good.

During the state of emergency, the Honma store is not open, so I went to Wendy's First Kitchen instead. It used to be a First Kitchen before, surprisingly, it's my first time here. This fast food place is located in a prime location, but I don't usually go to fast food places much. The Mushroom Melt Burger is quite pricey, whether you get it as a single item or a set, it's considered a gourmet burger. The sauce seems to be the costly part. As the name suggests, the mushrooms are not prominent, they are melted into the cheddar cheese sauce, adding flavor. The gooey cheese is the highlight of this burger, enhancing the juiciness of the somewhat dry hamburger. Overall, it tastes decent. The mentaiko (spicy cod roe) potato fries have a good amount of flavoring, and they are crispy and hot, quite delicious. I had a ginger ale in size M with the burger, and it paired well. However, I think it would be even better with beer. Thank you for visiting and reading.

I've been going to First Kitchen more often than McDonald's lately. I usually have their morning set with the fluffy Coppe Tamago Lettuce, which is a Coppe bread filled with fluffy eggs and lettuce. The potatoes are as delicious as ever, even though there are only three pieces. It's officially called Round Hashed Potato. I've heard that on certain days of the month, they give an extra piece, so I'm looking forward to that service.

In the morning, I used the morning set at the counter, which was equipped with outlets and USB ports, making it very comfortable. The BLT egg round hash potatoes in the set were incredibly delicious. You can see Shibata intersection from the window seat, and the newly built Yodobashi store as well.
