Hello~ I'm in the middle of a night shift week with my schedule reversed, so I stopped by the Niho Restaurant that's open from morning. After finishing my night shift, I came in for a large Asahi beer! I chose croquettes from the fridge, which looked surprisingly delicious. Beer after work is irresistible! When I was younger, I used to love sauce, but now I prefer a light soy sauce. The owner kindly offered me a grilled mackerel as a service, which was delicious! I couldn't resist and ended up ordering more beer. In the end, I ordered another Kirin small bottle. I should have just stuck with two large bottles... (laughs) For the finale, I ordered noodles, as noodles are my staple food. Today, I ordered chopped soba noodles with seaweed. The owner asked if I wanted to add seaweed, and of course, I said yes. The soba noodles were full of ingredients like seaweed and fish cake, and the broth was incredibly delicious! I finished every last drop of it. The bill came out to 2100 yen. I hope this restaurant continues to thrive. The two small bottles after the large bottle were a big mistake (laughs). Now, I'm going to head back and get some sleep. I feel like I'll be able to sleep soundly. Good night!

Hello~ Today I had lunch here!! I went to Futaba Shokudo for the first time. The restaurant is located behind a funeral hall along a busy road that connects Kayashima to Dainichi. The atmosphere may seem a bit intimidating, but I didn't mind at all. Just before noon, there were only a few customers. It seemed like the place was run by a couple - the mother was in charge of cooking, and the father was handling the front of the house. There was a regular customer, an elderly man, enjoying sashimi and a shochu highball. The father joked with him, and they seemed to be having a good time chatting. The mother asked me what I wanted to eat and suggested some side dishes. I moved to a seat in the middle so I could feel the cool air from the air conditioner. I saw they had Chinese noodles on the menu, so I ordered that. The regular customer offered me a newspaper to read. The noodles arrived soon after. The hot and comforting soup with plenty of pork and vegetables was delicious. It was quite filling, and I enjoyed it. The mother reminded me to eat slowly because it was hot. She mentioned that eating hot food in hot weather can be good. Overall, it was a cozy local restaurant with friendly owners. The Chinese noodles were warm and satisfying. It was a pleasant dining experience.
