Along with that, I got my regular favorites - Angel Cream, Chocolate, Chocolate Fashion, and Angel French. Back home, I tried the Menchi Katsu Curry Pie first. The crispy pie crust with curry sauce and menchi katsu inside was a comforting taste. However, I wish the curry and menchi katsu blended better together. The overflowing whipped cream in the Angel Cream was delightful. Next, I had the Chocolate donut with a hint of bitterness in the chocolate. But my favorite was the Chocolate Fashion with its crispy chocolate topping. The Angel French also had a perfect balance of crispy chocolate and fluffy cream. Overall, it was a satisfying experience after a long time.

[Toshiyoroizuka x Tsujiri x Mister Donut Collaboration] I used to enjoy their collaboration on chocolate flavors, but this time I was a bit disappointed with the Uji Matcha Chocolate Pie. The pie crust was not crispy enough, which was a letdown. Finally got my hands on the Pikachu donut I've been wanting! They only sell 40 a day, and the two groups behind me also bought some, so they sell out quickly even on weekdays. The Pikachu donut is delicate like a cake. I carried it around all day but the ears cracked and chocolate got smudged. Still, it's cute! It's banana chocolate flavored with regular angel cream inside, priced at 216 yen. The cheeks are made of marble chocolate, I think. People mainly buy it for the photo op, so I'm satisfied. The paper bag and napkin are Pokemon-themed, which is fun. I'll definitely buy more Pokemon collaboration items in the future. The Pokemon ball donut is strawberry flavored, but if they're the same price, I'd still choose Pikachu.

It seems like it was fried together with something else, giving it a mixed taste of savory. The outside is coated with sugar, crispy. The dough is chewy, with a hint of saltiness. The flavor is well-rounded and good.

The moist dough with a decent amount of whipped cream is light and easy to eat. It's a classic choice. Unfortunately, the Ito Yokado Sakuma store doesn't offer the dim sum series anymore. They used to have it in the past (sad face).

I chose the strawberry flavor this time, with a mochi mochi texture and a strawberry chocolate coating, making it quite a festive decoration. I also tried the "Pon de Double Chocolate" for 130 yen, a cocoa-flavored Pon de Ring with a rich chocolate coating. It's not too sweet and has a nice texture. The Double Chocolate for 110 yen was surprisingly light and enjoyable, with a bitter dough that is moist and crispy, topped with crunchy chocolate crunch for added flavor. Mister Donut is a donut chain brand founded in Massachusetts, USA in 1955, and it seems there are around 5 stores in Hachioji. My personal favorites are the "Angel Cream" for 140 yen, the "Angel French" for 150 yen, and the "Choco Fashion" for 140 yen, which is a milk-flavored cookie type with a chocolate coating. Overall, I had a great time enjoying these treats.
