I went to Konomiya to buy bread for breakfast. Across the road, there is Kawa Pan, where you can conveniently pay for groceries together. They bake authentic bread in the store. I bought a ripe bread for 140 yen and a baguette for 160 yen. Both were still slightly warm but seemed to have some condensation from being bagged. The ripe bread was soft and slightly sweet, almost like a pastry. It was delicious when eaten as is, and even better lightly toasted the next morning. The baguette, when spread with garlic butter and baked, had a wonderful aroma. It was a great way to start the day. Thank you for the meal!

A new bakery opened inside Konomiya in Fukai. I bought some bread while shopping. They have a sign saying you can pay at the Konomiya register. I wonder if the previous bakery had separate payment. Even though there's a bread section at the supermarket, freshly baked bread from a bakery is always the best, right? I was drawn to the Christmas-themed bread, but ended up getting the classic curry bread. I also bought a chocolate croissant for the next morning. The curry bread is delicious when toasted. The fluffy bread with crispy curry outside is my favorite. The curry inside is just like homemade, simple and tasty. It's reasonably priced like supermarket bread, so it's a good deal.

I went shopping at Sugi Pharmacy and stopped by Konomiya, where I found a new bakery that opened in October. They offer delicious bread at incredibly low prices, with an additional 10% discount. The extremely fluffy Coppe beef croquette costs 126 yen, the chicken tartar sandwich costs 126 yen, and the mini sweet potato Danish costs 194 yen. Everything was delicious and I will definitely be coming back for more.
