I went to Shabu Sai for the first time. Although they had an all-you-can-eat lunch option, I didn't want to eat too much as I wanted to check out the Aeon Mall afterwards, so I decided to go for the beef and pork shabu-shabu lunch set! Here, you can choose your own broth for the shabu-shabu, and they also offer all-you-can-eat vegetables, curry rice, and noodles like ramen and udon for around 1100 yen, which is an amazing deal! The shabu-shabu meat was good, the variety of vegetables was great, and with the rice dishes available, you can definitely leave the restaurant feeling full (lol). They put in a lot of effort, so even at lunchtime, the place was almost full! Although I ended up feeling a bit too full, it was a fantastic experience! I will definitely go back again! Thank you for the meal!

Shabu-shabu and sukiyaki all-you-can-eat places have a common pattern. The first 5 plates usually have marbled meat, then from the 6th to around the 15th plate, it gradually shifts to lean meat. After the 16th plate, the meat quality tends to become dry or fatty. It's always a mystery how they keep track of the count when it's crowded.

I used this place for lunch for the first time on a regular day. I often pass by Nakanoshiki or Ichigo-sen, but it's my first time coming to AEON Dainichi (;^ω^) Following my visit to Shabu-Sai AEON Mall Nara Tomigaoka store the other day, this time I visited due to the approaching deadline of the shareholder benefits coupons at the end of November. I entered around 3:30 pm and there were no other customers throughout, it was like having the place to ourselves. I ordered the "Pork Shabu-Shabu Course" from the all-you-can-eat menu. The pork had a substantial thickness and size, providing a satisfying texture. If they pay attention not to overcook it, the meat can be quite delicious. The vegetables and sauce were more varied compared to the Tomigaoka store. Maybe this is influenced by the difference in the local population (lol). It was a shame that my favorite shimeji mushrooms were not available. The savory and spicy sauce was quite delicious. I really like the fluffy texture of the chicken meatballs. I had 14 plates of meat, 8 chicken meatballs, and filled my stomach with noodles for the finale, ending up super full. I don't need dinner anymore (;^ω^) While I listed some complaints at the Tomigaoka store, I felt that the Dainichi store was a step ahead in terms of the variety of sauce and vegetables. Compared to Shabu Sai, I still think Shabu Sai is slightly better, so... I hope they continue to do their best, and as a small shareholder, I want to watch over them with expectations. The young female waitress who was in charge of the hall that day was excellent in her brisk customer service. Next time, I would like to reevaluate by trying a course where I can also eat beef. Thank you for the meal!

I visited Shabuya at a nearby AEON for the first time with GoTo Eat. It was a quiet time on a weekday at 3:00 PM, so I was able to relax. Unfortunately, I couldn't eat as much as I used to. I was satisfied with the reasonable prices and consistent taste.

On this day, I felt like eating a lot of vegetables. Without hesitation, I headed straight to a shabu-shabu restaurant in the restaurant district. The all-you-can-eat menu is also extensive, but since I went for lunch, I decided to choose from the affordable lunch menu. Shabu-shabu lunch (1190 yen). If you choose four-element pork, the price will increase by 300 yen. (For regular pork shabu, it is 890 yen). The standard broth is made from Hokkaido kelp. You can add another type of broth for an additional 100 yen. The available broth types are soy milk broth, spicy broth, sukiyaki broth, and ginger miso broth. I chose the ginger miso broth. The ginger miso broth goes well with tofu and noodles, so you can enjoy it more and more. The vegetables include a variety of standard vegetables, as well as thin fried tofu and burdock root. The dipping sauces available are Japanese-style sauce, spicy sauce, plum sauce, sesame sauce, and ponzu sauce. You can freely use your favorite sauce. You can have unlimited rice. There is also furikake and minced meat, so it's a system that makes rice lovers happy. The vegetables were fresh and very delicious, making it a satisfying shabu-shabu experience. It was so delicious that I want to go back for lunch again♥️

This store has fresh eggs, so I was expecting zosui (rice porridge) at the end, but I ended up getting full with meat and vegetables. I'll try the zosui next time...
