I made a reservation after seeing some Instagram-worthy photos! The Tamatebako lunch set is priced at 3000 yen and it was delicious, but nothing too extraordinary. The all-you-can-eat yakiniku had decent meat, nothing special. Even though I had a reservation, the staff didn't come to our table for a while and didn't explain anything, so I had to call them over. The young part-time staff member gave a cute but slightly awkward explanation. Keep up the good work!

I was drawn to the menu outside the restaurant and decided to drop in without a reservation. They mentioned that I could stay for only 45 minutes due to the next reservation, and I agreed since I am not the type to stay long anyway. The menu included touch panel yakiniku options as well as fish dishes that looked appealing and seemed to be popular among women for their Instagrammable appearance. The drink prices were quite reasonable, with draft beer at 299 yen and lemon sour at 199 yen. I ordered several meat dishes and side dishes like crab miso and chanja. The meat was tender and delicious overall. However, as the 45-minute time limit approached, the staff's handling of the situation left something to be desired. A young staff member approached me 30 minutes before my time was up and said, "We have another reservation, so we'd like you to leave in 30 minutes." I found this wording and timing a bit odd, as I was not aware of the next reservation time. Despite feeling a bit disappointed by the staff's approach, I settled the bill a bit earlier than planned and left. It was a shame because the cost performance was good, but the staff's communication could use some improvement in dealing with customers.

A new yakiniku restaurant has opened in the shopping street. All seats are semi-private and very cozy. This time, we ordered a meat treasure chest for three people. It comes with all three servings in one box. They open the box nicely for a good photo opportunity. It's great to be able to try a variety of different meats. The total cost for this was 3000 yen. The drinks are also reasonably priced and easy to enjoy. The atmosphere seems perfect for a girls' night out.

On July 3, 2023 (Monday), I had dinner with my partner in Kokura. My partner was craving for meat, so we decided to stroll around the arcade. Luckily, we managed to get into a newly opened restaurant called "Meat Sometimes Fish". The highball was only 218 yen (tax included), so we toasted to a good evening. We enjoyed yukhoe, snow crab, tongue, chuck flap tail, and sirloin. The meat was overall on the firmer side, but the salt sauce was versatile and delicious with all the cuts. It was a great meal. The cheap highball was a bonus.

I went there after seeing it on TikTok and Instagram. They had dishes like Uni Yukhoe that are Instagram-worthy. I think women would be pleased. The drinks were quite cheap, which was nice. However, I felt that the selection of individual menu items was somewhat limited.

Meat and sometimes fish. It might be better to specialize in one or the other! The meat was too tough to chew, so I had to force it down with alcohol... There were also gristle left in it... I don't know how to eat it... Anyway, all the meat was tough. The fish was just okay. If you want something delicious, I recommend going to a yakiniku restaurant instead. It's better value for your money! I left food uneaten for the first time in a while. The alcohol is cheap though, so that's a plus.
