I'm sorry, there is only this photo and I forgot to take more. In the Izumi region recently, if you're looking for a slightly stylish Japanese restaurant, this is the place. Takara Main Store. Takara Maruyama. Takara Izumi-Otsu. Recently, they have also opened a branch at Takashimaya Dining Maison. Truly amazing. Anyway, it's a authentic sushi restaurant with good taste. And the cost performance is also good. It's not like those places where you don't know the prices. This time, I went with my son and others who returned home after a long time, so I spent a lot of money, but on a regular day it's about 7,000 yen per person. It's quite good for authentic sushi. The recommended dishes here are the local Anago nigiri that has been popular since old times. You can't miss this. Also, the specialty, Wasabi Maki. It has a good balance with fresh wasabi. Inside, there is chutoro. It's incredibly delicious! This is a must-try! Also, the local Izumi water eggplant asazuke. And the local delicacy, Gatcho's karaage. Gatcho is a type of megochi. It's karaage made by splitting into 3 pieces. It goes perfectly with drinks.

This was my first visit, and we had a meal with four people. We had made a reservation in advance. The restaurant is located near Izumi Hashimoto Station on the Semboku Line. One person doesn't drink alcohol at all, so they drove us there. We were guided to a private room on the second floor. We started with a toast with draft beer. After the appetizers, sashimi was served, including tuna, sweet shrimp, scallops, and striped jack. It was quite ordinary. Next was a sukiyaki-style hot pot (I forgot to take a photo). The meat was tender and the broth was delicious. Then came the tempura, which also had an ordinary taste. After that, we had a few pieces of sushi and chawanmushi. The chawanmushi was lightly seasoned but tasty. Finally, we had dessert and coffee was served. It was a bit strange to have coffee after Japanese cuisine in the Izumi area.

- Grilled cod milt with ponzu and soy sauce
- Deep-fried smelt
- Negitoro roll
The cod milt was usually eaten with ponzu sauce, but I was pleasantly surprised by how well it paired with soy sauce. The grilled milt melted in my mouth. My favorite sushi topping is otoro, and the otoro and negitoro roll here were both delicious with their rich flavor. Thank you for the meal! ✨

First visit‼️ The restaurant was clean and we dined in a private room on the second floor, sitting on low chairs. We reserved the Maruyama course. We had sashimi, grilled dishes, simmered fish, tempura, sushi, the famous wasabi roll, and the eel box that we wanted to try. The wasabi had a good flavor but was not spicy at all‼️ It was good in a way... but also a little disappointing... All the dishes were delicious. The staff's service was also good‼️ I love sushi, but I have allergies so I often can't eat it. I'm grateful that they accommodated my shellfish allergy ☺️

It's been a while since I last visited Maruyama-san's restaurant, and as expected, everything was delicious. The presentation was done neatly, and the service was more than enough. We had a private room, so we were able to relax, although there were times when it was a bit noisy from the neighboring room, but it was tolerable.

At Takara Maruyama Izushi Kaizuka, there are various sushi restaurants that I found interesting. As I get older, I start noticing things that I didn't pay attention to when I was young. Do you ever feel that way? Whether it's about food or anything else. We had a set menu of 13 kinds of sushi for 3200 yen, a special sushi set (8 pieces) for 2800 yen, and a tempura assortment for 1200 yen. Thank you for the delicious meal!

A luxurious moment. Whether it's sashimi, sushi, or tempura, everything is delicious! The sea urchin was also amazing, with no fishy smell at all! The wasabi roll and eel long roll are also recommended. There are counter seats on the first floor and private rooms on the second floor, so you can enjoy your meal in a relaxed atmosphere. Thank you for the wonderful meal!

The southern part of Osaka is far from the famous markets, so high-quality ingredients are even more expensive. Famous markets in Osaka are like Tsukiji used to be in Tokyo or Tsukiji is now, where high-quality ingredients are concentrated. Therefore, fresh seafood dishes and top-notch sushi restaurants are concentrated in Osaka city. Considering this, I usually have an idea of what to eat. In Osaka city, you can get fast-melting fatty tuna at a reasonable price with high quality. Eel and mackerel, which do not require as much freshness, can also be enjoyed in the southern part of Osaka. Especially, the eel at this restaurant is excellent! I definitely want to try it next time. The wasabi here is also of high quality! Apparently, they serve Wasabi rolls for 1800 yen, and they are served generously. I couldn't eat more this time because I was full, but I definitely want to challenge it next time!

I visited Takarazuka Takara Sushi for the first time and the restaurant was very busy. Every dish I tried was delicious, so I was looking forward to enjoying the sushi. However, it seemed like they were using powdered wasabi because all I could taste was the wasabi flavor. I won't be visiting again.

I attended a welcome party for new employees. I tried the specialty wasabi sushi with a bit of mischief, asking for extra wasabi w. Even so, it was delicious, matching well with the fatty tuna.

I made a lunch reservation and was able to enjoy the atmosphere of this long-standing restaurant where the staff were dressed in traditional kimono. The restaurant had a counter and tatami seating, with private rooms on the second floor creating a wonderful traditional Japanese ambiance. The crab miso soup left a lasting impression, it was amazing. When I have important conversations, they always prepare a private room for me, providing a relaxed space. The dishes, from sashimi to dessert, were served at just the right pace, giving a sense of comfort. The dessert, made with seasonal ingredients, is always a delight. One thing that surprised me was the wasabi-wrapped sushi. It looked like regular sushi but was actually crab wrapped in wasabi, giving it a mild and easy-to-eat flavor. The presentation of this dish is also quite surprising.

Having lunch in a private room while having a relaxing conversation is definitely the best. You can enjoy a variety of delicious dishes, all of which are tasty. I also went there in the evening once, and I was able to feel a satisfaction that exceeded the price.

Lunch in a private room is popular with a variety of dishes such as sushi, tempura, small dishes, and salad. The food is satisfying, but the taste is average. It's nice to be able to chat leisurely in a private room. Reservations are required. The pudding is a specialty.

I used this restaurant for a welcome and farewell party. I had lunch at a affiliated store of this restaurant before, and it was good so I was looking forward to it. The location is in Kaizuka City. It's about a 10-minute walk from the nearest station. There are plenty of parking spaces in front of the store and in the second parking lot. Inside the restaurant, there is a counter and tatami seating for banquets. This time, we had a course menu for 5,000 to 6,000 yen. It included crab vinegar, sashimi, fried food, grilled dishes, sushi, and dessert, but overall it felt more like a catering service rather than a sushi restaurant. I might not be eager to use it again.

I always use it when there are celebrations and such~♪ My eldest daughter loves it so much... it's going to be tough... She always orders lotus root manju, conger eel, squid, natto rolls, datemaki, etc. Today, the datemaki was sold out and there was only one roll available (´;ω;`). The conger eel is still fluffy and delicious as always (*´∀`*). I tried ordering thick-cut bacon for the first time and it smelled really good and was quite tasty~ I've had more delicious bacon before, but if you get tired of seafood, definitely give it a try. I ate until I was full and it was delicious. Thank you very much!

Today, I went to a nostalgic restaurant called Maruyama-san. It's been over four years since I last visited. The atmosphere was just as I remembered it, with a long counter on the first floor and tatami rooms on the second floor. I ordered some sashimi, grilled fish, and sushi, all of which were delicious. The highlight was the fresh sardines and the tender firefly squid. The meal ended with a hot pot filled with a variety of seafood, including cod milt, crab, scallops, and more. Despite feeling full, I couldn't resist trying some eel and tempura on my way home. Overall, it was a satisfying and enjoyable dining experience.

I went on a Sunday night around 7pm during a consecutive holiday. I had only ordered delivery before, so this was my first time visiting the restaurant. I called ahead to make a reservation at Takara Honten, but they were fully booked, so I was directed to Takara Maruyama instead. It was quite crowded at Maruyama as well, especially on weekends. Reservations are a must. I was seated at the counter and ordered the recommended sushi menu for 3200 yen. I also ordered a draft beer. The sushi was made at a good pace and I enjoyed it. The taste was surprisingly delicious. My friend had a meeting with someone here and they were both very pleased. The atmosphere of the restaurant was nice, and the interior was quite clean, making it a comfortable place to dine. I will definitely go back again.

I visited for lunch. The parking lot is spacious and easy to access by car. The exterior looks like a traditional Japanese restaurant. For lunch, there is no counter service, and you are seated in the tatami room on the second floor. There are several private rooms for about four people each. In the large tatami room, my husband mentioned having used it for work parties before. You can hear the chatter of other guests in the private rooms, but it's not bothersome. For lunch, we started with fresh oysters. They were big, plump, and delicious. The grilled scallops were also fresh and tasty. The sushi we ordered came on a large plate. The steamed conger eel was fluffy and satisfying. The prawns were plump and delicious. There is a main store called "Takara Sushi" nearby. It is a long-established restaurant in Kaizuka, and they have also hosted parties here. I went for lunch once, and I think sitting at the counter would be better here. (Sushi is best enjoyed at the counter.) I would love to visit this restaurant again when I have my bonus.
