This is a shop that caught my attention when Nunkui-san visited. I was drawn to its nostalgic exterior, and after researching, it seemed quite delicious, so I decided to visit. The interior, renovated from a row house, had a nostalgic and calming atmosphere that resonated with those born in the Showa era. For starters, we asked the cute waitress about the portion sizes, and she explained it clearly, so we ordered the "Jou Mori Naka" and "Tan (butter)". The Tan was thick and tender, very delicious! It was my first time eating it with melted butter, but I liked it. The variety of horumon was all mixed together on one plate, so I couldn't tell what was what, but I think it was all delicious. I don't eat the complicated parts like mino or marchou, but I think they were good. However, the "rice" was a bit disappointing. Just like other reviews mentioned, the hospitality was great, the prices were reasonable, and they had a wide selection of soft drinks, making it my new favorite spot. Now that I understand the system and portion sizes, I'll probably order individual items next time, but I'll most likely stick to ordering harami, tan, and lean meat. I will definitely go back again!

The other day, I visited Kamome-san, a restaurant that caught my eye with its sign when I went to Nunkui-san for curry. Despite being tucked away from the street, it had a striking neon sign that gave it a strong presence. I was filled with anticipation as I entered the restaurant. The interior was just as I had hoped - a Showa retro atmosphere created by renovating an old Japanese house. The grill had a traditional feel but was clean and well-maintained. I quickly ordered the tongue salt and the assorted upper cuts. I also ordered the kimchi and the intestine assortments. Although we were only two people, the assorted upper cuts that arrived were packed with hormone cuts like harami and loin. They were fresh, delicious, and had no unpleasant odor. This place is amazing! I highly recommend it. Please consider using it for a hidden gem date spot. I had a great time. Thank you. I will definitely visit again.

Hormone Kame Second Branch in Nanamichi opened last year. The previous store was very retro, but this new store in Nanamichi is also retro and stylish. The taste and cost performance are excellent. The hormones are especially delicious. It's unclear how the current situation with COVID-19 is affecting them, but the food is really delicious.

Hormone Kamome 2nd store!! Today is the grand opening. We were honored to be the first customers. Located a 10-minute walk from Nankai Main Line Nanba Station, the store is similar in design and atmosphere to the original store in Izumisima. The fresh and thick raw liver is amazing with ponzu sauce. The salted tongue is cooked in the Sakai style with butter. The rump meat is exquisite. The special large serving of upper hormone and the combination of red meat and hormone are all fresh and delicious, without any shortcuts in cooking. This is the true charm of this restaurant. We ate and drank a lot and the bill was 5,000 yen. Such amazing restaurants are hard to come by. It's an incredible restaurant.

Grilled hormone dish can be a hit or miss for some people. I went with my wife, but she didn't really like it much. Also, it's a bit pricey. Maybe regular yakiniku would be better? I'm torn. I like it, though.

The sauce might be good for rice with a clear dashi taste. Shiitake mushrooms come seasoned, so no sauce is needed. Raw heart tie, necktie, hachinosu harami, raw medium for two people costs 6000 yen.
