Kurume has several delicious hamburger restaurants, and "Tokitsu" is one of them. I remember when this restaurant first opened in Tsucho, I loved it so much that I would go there once a week. It must have been close to 30 years ago, and I believe it was located where the cake shop Tsuruta is now. At that time, I remember that this restaurant was the first in Kurume to serve a curry with a creamy omelette, which became very popular quickly. They then moved to a larger location in Higashiaikawa, where A Price is currently located, but it didn't work out well, so they moved to their current location. Since relocating, the restaurant has become extremely popular, always full at lunchtime and attracting a clientele of housewives looking for a place to relax. Whenever I tried to go, the parking lot was always full, so I ended up not going after they moved. It has been a long time since the move, and one day around 11 am, I happened to pass by and saw no cars parked outside, so I decided to give it a try. Since it was just after opening on a weekday, I was the only customer. The restaurant looked like a family restaurant from the outside, but inside, it was a stylish and sophisticated dining place. I ordered the "Wagyu Hamburger & Sirloin Steak" set, which came with salad, soup, and bread or rice. The salad and soup arrived first, and they were delicious, made with care. Then came the main dish of hamburger and sirloin steak. It had been a while since I last had it, but it was just as delicious as before! I've been going to various restaurants for food blog content, but popular restaurants that have been around for a long time like this one are definitely delicious. I regret not coming here for so long. The meat was high quality, and the sauce was incredibly delicious. I wanted to eat more because it was so delicious. Next time, I think I'll try the Jumbo Hamburger or 1.5 times the size steak. The side dishes were also very tasty. If I time it right, I can enjoy a leisurely meal, so I plan to visit more often from now on. Thank you for the meal.
