I visited "Tsukemen Suzume Seki Daigemmae" when the lingering summer heat was still intense because I was craving tsukemen. I chose this place because it belongs to the same group as my favorite abura soba restaurant, "Kirinji Temple," so I thought it would be reliable. I purchased a ticket for "Special Tsukemen" and "Extra Noodles" from the ticket machine. The kitchen staff seemed busy, but I was a bit bothered by the lackluster attitude of the person who brought the food to the table. They didn't seem very friendly. Instead of the server, it was the kitchen staff who loudly and energetically told me to take a seat, which helped to ease my irritation a little. I waited for about 10 minutes before the food was served. The noodles were straight, medium-thick, flat noodles with two thick slices of chashu and a seasoned egg. The soup was a fish and pork bone broth, but the noodles were just average, neither good nor bad. They lacked a distinct character, perhaps due to being flat. I wish the soup had been hotter. It was a bit lukewarm for my liking. The flavor was rich but easy to eat. You can customize the taste with toppings like garlic. Overall, it was a decent tsukemen that I might crave if there was a branch nearby, but not one that would make me want to travel far to eat again.

The service is a bit peculiar, and depending on how busy it is, you may be asked to move from the counter to a table. This time, I ordered the tsukemen for 830 yen. You purchase a ticket before ordering. It came with two slices of fatty chashu and the soup was quite delicious. The noodles are 300g, but there is plenty of soup and toppings, so getting a large portion might have been a good idea.

I visited for the first time. It seems to be popular, but it left me with the impression of just an ordinary tsukemen. I ordered the meat topping for 1,050 yen and the extra-large serving for 550g (200 yen). The reason for the rating of 2.5 is the chopsticks. The noodles are firm and smooth, and they may be using good quality chopsticks, but the chopsticks themselves are also smooth, making it difficult to pick up 2-3 noodles at a time. It's quite irritating. So far, my favorite tsukemen is Tsukiyomi in Kamishinjo.

On the day when the state of emergency was lifted, I had ramen at Tsukemen no Suzume in front of Kandai. I haven't been eating tsukemen much lately, but since there are only 2-3 ramen shops left to conquer out of the dozen or so in front of Kandai, I decided to give it a try. The soup was quite delicious, and the chashu was well-flavored and very tasty. The noodles were cooked slightly firm, which I prefer. However, I felt it was a shame to leave behind the dipping sauce completely untouched at the end, even though it may be better for my health.

I came here for the first time. In front of Kansai University, there are quite a few ramen shops, and I went to Tsukemen Jakku with a Kansai University alumni as my guide! First, the noodles are easy to eat and seem easy to digest. They are so delicious that you might slurp them up without chewing, but be careful not to upset your stomach. The soup is not too oily, based on pork bone, but it has a unique and gentle flavor that can only be tasted here! Personally, I really liked it! It was a satisfying bowl! Thank you for the meal ☺︎

Today, I went to Kansai University in Suita Senriyama for an exam. There are many ramen shops lined up on Kandaimae Street from Hankyu Kandaimae Station to the main gate of Kansai University, catering to students. During the break between the morning and afternoon exams, I decided to have ramen for lunch and went to Kandaimae Street. I visited Tsukemen Suzume, a ramen shop located in front of Kansai University. The main store is in Amerikamura. They had a COVID-19 prevention sticker displayed, so I went in. They offer three types of tsukemen: Suzume Tsukemen, Spicy Tsukemen, and Salt Tsukemen. I ordered the Suzume Special Tsukemen in medium size. The special tsukemen came with two large slices of chashu pork, a flavored egg, and lots of toppings, which filled me up. The broth also had chashu pork in it, so even the regular tsukemen would be delicious. The soup base for dipping was citrus-flavored, so I enjoyed a refreshing soup dip as well. They also offer Spicy Tsukemen and Salt Tsukemen, and they have branches in Osaka city as well. I would love to visit again and try more. It had been a while since I had tsukemen, and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Having dinner with my wife in front of Kansei University. It's a child-free Sunday, so we decided to keep it simple for a change. It was our first visit to this place and there were no other customers when we arrived. We sat at a table and I ordered the spicy tsukemen with 400g of noodles, choosing a spice level of 2 out of 3. It cost 830 yen and the restaurant was non-smoking. The food was served in less than 10 minutes. The spiciness was just right for me, and even though I ordered the large portion, it felt like a regular amount for a man. I finished off with soup-wari. My wife had the sparrow tsukemen with regular noodles, which cost 780 yen. By saying a password, we got a free boiled egg. It was delicious, but I found it challenging to capture the restaurant's unique character through this dish.

The taste is average. The price is also average, but you can increase the quantity. It's okay if it's for students, but the customer service attitude is not good.

When you start eating, you will taste various flavors in this well-made seafood and pork bone broth dipping noodles.

A very delicious tsukemen restaurant near Seki-Taisen station, with a great atmosphere and a friendly and easy-to-talk-to manager! I definitely want to come back again!

The spicy noodles are delicious. Level 2 spiciness is the best, but level 3 is also tolerable. The staff get along well and chat while preparing the food, which may raise concerns about hygiene, but it's fine as long as you don't watch them.

It was simply delicious.
