First time visiting. I went early so it was relatively empty and the order came out quickly and the food was pretty good, so I thought it was convenient. Towards the end, it got really crowded and the time it took from ordering to serving was quite long, which was a bit of a concern. I had ordered the drink all-you-can-drink menu, so that was a downside.

The restaurant was mainly used for drinking parties on Sundays. Although we had made a reservation, the customers seemed to be mostly families and groups of women. As the name suggests, wine was the main drink choice, but there were also interesting options like charcoal-broiled highballs. The food consisted of stylish dishes such as steak and omelettes, which took some time to be served but were exceptionally delicious. The crab pasta received the highest praise at our table. The restaurant's location, within a 10-minute walk from Kyoto Station, was convenient.

I often visit the chain stores, but this was my first time at the Kyoto Station location! The charcoal grill and wine are delicious every time I come! The meat is very juicy and goes really well with the wine! What I especially like about the charcoal grill and wine is that the staff are very friendly! I will definitely be back!

It's a wine and meat bar just a 5-minute walk from Kyoto Station. With a price of 2500 yen, the all-you-can-drink deal with unlimited time is a great value! The appetizer is a leaf salad for 450 yen, but you can have free refills, so I had it three times! The rich dressing was delicious. The spinach omelette with mascarpone cheese was also delicious! And the Basque cheesecake was beyond imagination!

I have visited this restaurant near Kyoto Station several times on days when I have plans. They have a wine all-you-can-drink menu that I can't resist. The salad they serve as a service can also be refilled, which makes me happy. I love the dressing for the salad, so I end up getting a few refills. It's always crowded when I try to walk in, so it's better to make a reservation. I end up getting a few refills.

The atmosphere of the restaurant is great with many young staff members, creating a lively vibe. The staff recommend dishes and drinks, making it a pleasant experience. My family loves this restaurant, and we visit about 3-4 times a year for celebrations because my mother always requests it. Compared to other charcoal and wine restaurants in the chain, I feel that the Kyoto branch has higher quality food and better customer service. Other branches have issues like poorly drained vegetables in the all-you-can-eat section, diluted sauces that don't stick to the food, and slightly subpar cooking methods. Even when the restaurant is busy, the staff here are warm and welcoming. The prices are reasonable, and the food is consistently delicious. It's always crowded, but it's clear why it's so popular. The female staff members are friendly and make the dining experience even more enjoyable with their extra attention. I hope to meet that cheerful lady again who asked me if I enjoyed the food. Thank you always.

Kyoto is known for its delicious meat, and whenever I visit Kyoto, I always crave for meat. Tonight, I stayed near the station, so I went to the restaurant near Kyoto Station. The complimentary leaf salad was so tasty that I had multiple servings. The charcoal-grilled Ooita Wagyu beef was amazing, I could eat it endlessly with just salt and wasabi. The mashed potatoes with basil flavor served as a nice palate cleanser. As the name suggests, the wine was affordable and delicious. Moreover, the service was excellent, with everyone being friendly, polite, and welcoming with their smiles.

During dinner time out, I decided to try out a new place and did some reconnaissance before entering. The phone service was friendly, so I had a good feeling about it. The outcome was positive, and I think I can use this place for future visits, especially when craving meat. The energetic staff members were serving dishes and small items with attention to detail, making it a cool place. I started with a beer and ordered a potato salad. I was surprised by the huge salad that came as a starter, with a mountain of vegetables. If I finish this, I might not be able to order more dishes or meat. The main dish was charcoal-grilled duck meat. When served, it was cooked just right, tender inside and nicely grilled outside. Hmm, a delicious dish. Additionally, the green powder seasoning provided, finely ground Sichuan pepper, was spicy and cool. The spiciness of the Sichuan pepper made it tingly but within an acceptable range. It was a great experience. If I come back with others next time, we could order a variety of dishes and have even more fun.

At the New Year's party for alumni of the university research lab, we went to "Charcoal and Wine Kyoto Station Front Store" near JR Kyoto Station North Exit. It's a lovely restaurant renovated from a traditional Kyoto townhouse. They offer a 3-hour all-you-can-drink "Gold Course (5,500 yen)" with a variety of wines and other drinks. The wine menu lists famous people that each wine is likened to, making it fun to order wines by famous names. We started with a toast of Castellro de Liliacava (Hugh Jackman) white sparkling wine to accompany the appetizers. The thickly sliced straw-grilled tuna tataki with a smoky flavor is delicious. The homemade appetizer assortment pairs well with the wine. The Les Damlieres Rose (Audrey Hepburn) sparkling rose is also available. The grilled sea bream with mashed potato cream soup is flavorful. The rich porcini risotto with Kawachi duck and shiitake mushrooms has a strong aroma. The Ora Nueva (Chanmina) red wine selection is extensive, starting with your favorite Shiraz. The charcoal-grilled specialty meat platter of Oita Wagyu beef, pork loin, and juicy sausages is tender and flavorful. The chewy fried gnocchi with maple syrup, and the domestic snow crab in rich tomato cream sauce are delicious. We also enjoyed several glasses of red wine. The salt cheese mousse with Donelli Lambrusco Reggiano Amabile (Marilyn Monroe) was a sweet end with red sparkling wine. The course meal was substantial, with a wide variety of wines available for all-you-can-drink. It was a great value for our New Year's party, and we had a very enjoyable time with lively conversations. Thank you to all the participants. I look forward to meeting again next time we're in Kyoto.

On October 21, 2022 (Friday), it was his birthday, so we went to Isetan to choose a gift that he wanted and bought it for him. Then we went to dinner to celebrate his birthday, which was the 6th time we celebrated together. This time, we went to a Kyoto restaurant known for its charcoal-grilled dishes and wine, where we had been to a few times when staying in Namba. I ordered the usual steak, and when it arrived and looked like a heart shape, I exclaimed, "It's a heart!" The waitress told us that they intentionally cut it into a heart shape, which was a sweet surprise. I always get treated by him, so this time I treated him. However, he wasn't very hungry that night and didn't eat much. The pasta we ordered was extremely undercooked, with the center being too hard. The next day, he mentioned how hard the pasta was and joked that it was beyond al dente. He preferred the atmosphere at the Namba location over the Kyoto one for dining. I used this restaurant for a meal with a customer who was returning to Tokyo by Shinkansen on the same day, near Kyoto Station. The food seemed more like drinking snacks than authentic cuisine. However, if the main focus is on conversation while drinking, the atmosphere of the restaurant is nice, so I thought it was a good place. I will introduce this new restaurant to my friends right away.

I have been to my favorite restaurant and its other branch more than 5 times. The dishes are casual yet go well with wine, and I always end up eating too much. The salad they serve as a starter is all-you-can-eat, and I love it so much that I've never had such a delicious salad before. I always order the fried bread and prosciutto, the Kyoto duck roast, the potato butter with caviar, and the special pasta (seafood) - they are a must-have!

I came here after a long time with a friend. The food here is relatively delicious. Although the prices are a bit higher compared to other izakayas, I think the taste is better here. However, something very disappointing happened this time. We ordered the "ura pasta," which is supposed to be made based on the customer's preferences and dislikes. We had just eaten the wine-steamed mussels, but we were served mussel pasta instead. It was clear that they did not pay attention to the fact that we had already ordered and eaten mussels. Maybe we should have ordered a different pasta, or they should have asked if we were okay with having mussel pasta that day. Also, it took over 30 minutes for the "ura pasta" to be served. When we asked after waiting for over 20 minutes, they said the order was in, but it still took another 15 minutes to arrive. The fact that it took so long to be served, yet they cleared our plates immediately after we finished, was quite disappointing. I used to think this place was always bright and had a good atmosphere when I had been here before, but this experience was disappointing. I was invited by a friend this time, but I have decided not to come back in the future.

There are so many different types of drinks available, so all-you-can-drink might be recommended! Grass beer, smoothies, and various other options make it fun. The raw ham dish is incredibly delicious. The meat is very tasty. The all-you-can-eat salad that comes as a side dish is also very delicious. It's worth going just for the salad alone. The oyster and spring chrysanthemum sauce pasta is delicious, but the pasta itself feels too ordinary! Thank you for the meal!
