When having a BBQ with a large group of people, I often use this place. There are many meat shops in Sakai, but this one seems to be slightly more affordable. However, it is still high-quality Japanese black beef, delicious, and they can cut the meat according to your preference. They also vacuum pack the meat for you. The 1-pound rib roast steak (cut from sukiyaki meat for steak) and leg meat for roast beef are impressive and well-received by participants, with prices ranging from 600 yen to 750 yen per 100g, making them more affordable than marbled meat. Most importantly, the meat is very delicious. Additionally, on Saturdays, there is a special discount of 10-20% off (there may be other discount days on different days). If you pre-order and reserve the meat by Friday, you can pick it up before the store opens on Saturday morning. Good meat always comes from a good butcher shop!

There are several "Yama-san affiliated meat shops" scattered around Sakai, and they also have a yakiniku restaurant. The croquettes here are especially delicious and affordable! They are similar to the ones at Yamatake-san's shop, are they related? Even after the tax increase, they are still selling them for 55 yen each at Haruwa Meat Stadium, a large store that also sells meat. Today, I bought a lot of beef tendons to cook at home in a pressure cooker with onions and miso. I also bought 10 croquettes to share with my colleagues at work. The popular croquettes have a crispy exterior and a moist interior, with a slightly sweet taste. They are so delicious that they disappear quickly. I really love these croquettes! Tonight's dinner was a bit lazy... I had croquettes for 40 yen each, along with chicken cutlets for 186 yen and shrimp cutlets for 76 yen. I also had chicken karaage, salad, and miso soup that I made myself. It's nice to take a break from cooking sometimes. The croquettes here have a homemade feel to them, and the potatoes are sweet. The karaage has a strong saltiness to it. The chicken cutlet is large and highly recommended! They also have bento boxes here... and they're cheap! I'll definitely come back for lunch sometime.
