Today is my day off. I'm thinking about what to have for lunch. It looks like it's going to rain, so I don't want to go to the same place again. While I was thinking about it, I came across this restaurant called "Menya Asahi" just a short bike ride from Kojiro Station. It seems like they have some tough competition with Tengo Hz nearby, but they have a wide variety of menu items that I really like. The restaurant is small with only a counter, but the master and the lady boss are working hard and the atmosphere is nice. Today, I started with the seafood soy sauce tsukemen. The brown flat noodles and the thick soup go really well together. The aroma of sesame lingers in your nose, making it a delicious bowl. I felt like having a bit more, so I ordered the "Ojya rice" as a finish. I accidentally ordered the "Oyaji rice" and the master and the lady boss smiled. They said, "It's easy to get confused." But the "Ojya" made by the master was kind of like a "Oyaji rice" in a way, haha. I really like charming staff like this, it makes me want to support them! I'll definitely visit again soon! Thank you for the delicious meal!

Chicken broth soy sauce ramen for 850 yen. The soup is hot. The soup is rich in chicken flavor and the soy sauce is strong, which I like. The noodles are straight and made with whole wheat flour, giving them a crunchy texture. It's delicious. You can also change to thick noodles. The toppings include green onions, onions, bamboo shoots, chicken, and chashu pork. Parking information: Mitsui Repark Koji Higashi 2-chome No.3, 200 yen for 30 minutes from 8:00 to 20:00.

Menya Asahi✨✨✨✨Located in Ikuno, this chicken white broth ramen shop is definitely something to brag about. Of course, their specialty is the chicken white broth ramen. The Chicken White Broth Ramen Special is just as the name suggests - it has everything in it. From rare chashu to regular chashu, and the soup is a rich chicken white broth that is not too strong or too light, making it easy to finish every last drop. The noodles are thick and when I asked the chef to change them, they became amazingly delicious. The texture, chewiness, and flavor of the noodles are just perfect. This would definitely be a hit in the summer with their Sudachi cold noodles. The gyoza was also crispy and delicious. Thank you, Chef, at Menya Asahi. Phone: 06-6758-7035. Address: 2-1-19 Koji Higashi, Ikuno-ku, Osaka City, Osaka.

In the quiet streets of Ikuno Ward, I tried the ramen shop. I had the chicken white broth soy sauce ramen with all the toppings. The shop has a variety of ramen options, offers free extra noodles, rice dishes, and side dishes, so you can enjoy a lot of different things. Next time, I'll try the chicken white broth salt ramen. Personally, I like my noodles firm, so I'll ask for that next time. Thank you for the meal.

Ramenya Asahi (Asahi, Ikuno-ku, Osaka City, Osaka Prefecture) is a shop that changed its name when it relocated and reopened in July 2018 from the previous location in Imazato, Ikuno-ku. Date: 20.5.19 Chicken Shoyu Ramen - ¥800 Ajitsuke Tamago (seasoned egg) - ¥100 Soup: The soup is a chicken-based shoyu broth with a smooth and light texture, enhanced by the viscosity from the oil and depth from the rich seasoning and aromatic vegetables. Noodles: The homemade noodles are medium-thin and straight, with a supple texture and glossy surface that complements the chicken umami and soup. Toppings: - Char siu: Tender and flavorful, soaked in a rich sauce. - Menma (bamboo shoots): Crunchy with a gentle umami flavor. - Ajitsuke tamago: Rich and well-seasoned, pairs well with the soup. Other toppings include bean sprouts, sesame seeds, and green onions. Review: The soup is easy to drink with a subtle sweetness and a soft umami from the chicken, balanced by the seasoning and a hint of garlic and vegetables. The noodles are smooth and chewy, enhancing the overall flavor with the shoyu and oil, leaving a lasting impression. The chicken shoyu ramen is thick yet easy to eat, offering a delightful dining experience.

The restaurant is located near the head office and Shojaku Station. I tried the salt ramen with thick noodles. The soup was creamy and delicious, but it wasn't worth going out of my way for. Thank you for the meal.

This is a ramen shop in the neighborhood. The name "Menya" can be seen here and there, but I wonder if this shop is also a branch or a separate shop. Just by the name, expectations naturally rise. The shop has only a counter, and there are quite a few regular customers every time. There are two signature dishes on the menu. I ordered one of them, the "Asahi Special Clear Soy Sauce Ramen". First, the soup. It has a smooth soy sauce flavor with depth, and it somehow clings to the tongue. This is the type of soy sauce flavor I like. Next, the noodles. The noodles at this shop are delicious. They are not homemade, but chewing on them is enjoyable. The way they blend with the soup is just right. Well, it's a problem if the soy sauce flavor soaks in too much. Now, I feel like trying the popular chicken white broth ramen too.

Location: Located along the Nai-Kanjo Line, 150m from the Komichi Station front intersection towards Hirano, on the left side. About the Restaurant: Menya Asahi, a ramen shop that opened in Shin-Imazato on October 4, 2015. Known for their chicken white broth ramen, they moved to their current location along the Nai-Kanjo Line on July 2, 2018. Initially only open for dinner, they later started serving lunch as well. Menu: Chicken white broth ramen in soy sauce, salt, or curry flavors, clear broth ramen in soy sauce or salt, and chicken white broth dipping noodles are also available. What I Ate: - Chicken white broth ramen in soy sauce (750 yen): A simple bowl with chashu, menma, and green onions. The soup has a pure chicken white broth base with a slightly thick consistency. The chicken flavor is rich, complemented well by the soy sauce. The homemade medium-thin straight noodles have a good chewy texture that pairs nicely with the soup. The chashu is tender and flavorful. Impressions: Menya Asahi is a popular ramen shop known for their chicken white broth. I visited for lunch and tried the soy sauce chicken white broth ramen. The flavors were delicious, with both the soup and noodles leaving a good impression. However, I found the portion size slightly lacking in terms of satisfaction. I would like to try their other popular menu item, the chicken white broth dipping noodles, if I have the chance.

The shop is known for its delicious chicken white broth soup. Chicken white broth ramen (soy sauce) 750 yen This is delicious! The rich soup is so delicious, and the tender chashu is exquisite. The toppings of menma and green onions are simple but the simplicity is good. I visited "Menya Asahi" in Ikuno Ward, Osaka City! I can feel the dedication to perfecting chicken white broth soup. Although I couldn't try everything because it was the third stop for me, the menu is full of tempting options. If you want to fully enjoy authentic chicken white broth soup, I recommend Menya Asahi! Thank you for the delicious meal.

The restaurant in Ikuno Ward is not very familiar, but I was curious about this place for a while so I visited. The location is a 3-4 minute walk from the Osaka Metro Komagawa Station, and it is only open at night, so I visited at night. The exterior had a slightly chain store-like sign that caught my attention, but it didn't seem too much like a chain. Inside, the atmosphere was not fancy, but it was a clean and calm restaurant with a beautiful color scheme and a wooden L-shaped counter. The business was run by a middle-aged couple who seemed close. The menu included chicken shio or shoyu ramen, clear shio or shoyu ramen, plum and shiso salt ramen, shrimp miso shio ramen, shrimp salt oil soba, and more, with options for upgrades and special versions. I ordered the top special chicken shoyu ramen with thin noodles. The order arrived in 5-6 minutes. The special rare chashu was eye-catching. The special version was truly rewarding. When I tried it, the soup was a chicken simmered emulsified soup that was slightly creamy and the round soy sauce base tied it all together nicely. The thin noodles had a texture that was not like Hakata-style, rather more like somen, but it didn't feel out of place with this soup. The toppings included rare chashu, chopped chashu, menma, seasoned egg, and green onions. The contrast between the spicy rare chashu and the sweet and savory chopped chashu was good. It was quite delicious. Thank you for the meal.

"I visited Menya Asahi in Ikuno Ward and tried their Tori Shio Ramen (Soy Sauce) for 750 yen. The broth is made from chicken with a low viscosity white soup, featuring a well-balanced chicken umami and a round soy sauce flavor that gives it a rich and flavorful taste with a smooth mouthfeel. The noodles are homemade from Yamato Seisakusho, using straight thin noodles that are springy with a good chew. The chashu pork is tender with a delicious seasoning and rich meaty flavor."

Chicken Shoyu Ramen (Chicken + Soy Sauce) 750 yen ★★★☆ The soup is a soy sauce flavor based on chicken broth. The noodles are thin straight noodles. The toppings include pork belly chashu, green onions, and bamboo shoots. The soup, made from chicken broth, has a moderate amount of oil and a smooth soy sauce flavor, bringing out the richness of the chicken. The homemade noodles are made with Yamato's Rich Men, providing a resilient chewiness and a smooth texture. The large, thick slice of chashu is tender, well-seasoned, and very delicious. (Recommended for the noodles)

This is a ramen restaurant called "Menya Gokuraku" that moved to the first floor of Sakaguchi Building 2 Co-op Enzel on July 2, 2018, where "Ramen Tsukemen Asahi" was previously located in Ima-zato. It is located along the Osaka Inner Loop Line (National Route 479). The nearest station is Komichi Station on the Osaka Metro Chitose Line, and it is about a 2-minute walk from exit 3. The interior of the restaurant is modern, with only counter seats available. The restroom is located at the back, so you have to leave the restaurant to use it. The "Chicken White Broth Ramen" (Salt) costs 750 yen. The flavor of the "Chicken White Broth Ramen" comes in both soy sauce and salt variations. The bowl was filled with thick, tender slices of pork chashu, green onions, sesame seeds, and bamboo shoots. The homemade noodles were thin and straight. The creamy and soft chicken broth base with a salt flavor had a smooth and pleasant taste. Thank you, Asahi, for the delicious meal! (18/8/2)

The last time I came, the restaurant was closed for some reason, but this time I finally got to try it. I had been to this place before when it was in Imazato, and I also had the salted butter corn ramen back then. This time, I chose the chicken broth ramen, and I was a little concerned about the oil content, so I added some white pepper from the table. Looking at the pictures, the soup and noodles seemed a bit less, but when I actually ate it, there was more than I expected. The bowl seemed to be kept warm, but it wasn't too hot. The bowl is narrow and deep, designed to keep the food warm for longer. The noodles were thin and slightly soft. The salted butter had butter floating on top, and after eating the noodles, just drinking the soup was really delicious. The chashu pork was so tender that it almost fell apart when picked up with chopsticks. The sign said they used homemade noodles, and there was a noodle-making machine, so it was indeed homemade noodles. There were many regular customers, and when I went in around 9:00, it was almost full, so I sat at the far end of the counter. There were about 10 seats at the counter. The place was run by a man and a woman. They also served dumplings and rice, so the overall dining experience was very satisfying. Additionally, there was a bicycle parking lot next to the restaurant, which seemed very convenient as it is located near the station.
