Yakiniku Ryuo-kan Honten is a yakiniku restaurant located about a 5-minute walk from Nishitetsu Kurume Station in Fukuoka Prefecture. They have multiple branches and their meat quality and taste are both excellent. The staff are friendly and energetic, and they recommend dishes with a smile, making the experience enjoyable.

I visited Ryuo-kan in Kurume City. I have been coming to this restaurant for over 10 years. It used to have no storefront at all, so I was surprised to see it suddenly expand. This visit was my first stop on a food crawl. I love their tomato kimchi. Although the meat selection is limited, it is cheap and delicious. I would like to visit again. Thank you for the meal.

The ordering system was through a touch panel. The quality of the meat varied depending on the day, but I found it better to order individual pieces of meat rather than a set. The restaurant struck a good balance between not being too high-end or too cheap.

The atmosphere was elegant, but the clientele seemed young. We opted for the course menu, and while the meat was delicious, it was a bit fatty. I guess after turning 50, lean meat is the way to go, haha.

Visit time: Around 19:00 on a weekday
Number of visitors: 2 friends
Ordered menu: Approximately 15 items including kalbi and loin
Price: Around 4000 yen per person
Atmosphere: The atmosphere is similar to a regular yakiniku restaurant, but with a slightly luxurious feel.
Taste: All the meat was delicious. It is a chain restaurant, but the deliciousness of the meat that they are particular about comes through.

I felt like eating meat at night, so I went.

The course cost around 4000 yen. I think it's better to eat here than to go for all-you-can-eat options. I was satisfied.

We went with 3 people at 5:30 pm on the same day reservation! The atmosphere and the staff were really good. But I was looking forward to the stone bibimbap the most at the yakiniku restaurant. The "Mukashibanashi Mori" with extra rice was interesting! The meat and horumon were okay. The dessert was also... haha. It was a bit disappointing that there were only 2 types of sauces.

I heard about a stylish yakiniku restaurant that I had been curious about for a while. I went there without a reservation, but luckily managed to get a table. The restaurant was fully packed. The interior was very stylish, and the staff were handsome. The service was good, so it made sense that the place was full. The menu had a variety of meat options, but the side dishes were a bit limited. I wished there were more salad options and some light snacks to munch on in between grilling the meat. However, as mentioned in other reviews, the sauce was delicious, and the yukhoe (Korean beef tartare) was subtly sweet and tasty! Maybe it's the effect of the sauce? The yukhoe mixed well with the egg and was really delicious. Despite drinking a little too much as usual, I would love to visit again when I crave yakiniku.

It is great to have a restaurant that is open until late at night. You can even go there after midnight. They serve fatty meats with rich flavors, making it a great place to enjoy with drinks or rice. The staff and customers give off a lively and young vibe. In addition to regular sizes, they have a mega-sized menu called "old tales platter," which could be a fun conversation starter. It's probably three times or more the size of a regular meal? It's hard to find parking here, so I usually go to the one in Uetsu when driving.

The restaurant is open until 4:00 am (last order at 3:00 am), which is convenient for those who finish work late and get hungry after drinking. The sauce with plenty of green onions is delicious, so you can enjoy beer while waiting for the meat to cook! My favorite menu item is the sasami! It's seared and served with soy sauce and wasabi, which is refreshing and tasty. You can never have enough of it. The kalbi and other items are also very delicious. The staff is efficient and has a great smile, making the dining experience enjoyable.

The food at Ryuo-kan Karubi is delicious! When you go to Ryuo-kan, you have to try the Karubi. If you're going with just girls, the course might be a bit too much. I went with two other girls before and ordered the course with alcohol, but we ended up with too much yakiniku. For girls only, ordering a la carte is okay! If there are guys in the group, then go for the course! The price is just right, not too expensive. The almond jelly that comes with the course is also delicious! It's usually crowded on weekends, so I always make a reservation. Besides the taste, the staff at Ryuo-kan are very friendly and I love it. It's not just one person who is nice, but all of them are great, so I trust the restaurant. The parking lot is a bit hard to find, so it's good to look it up in advance.

Today's review is about a yakiniku restaurant visited in August. Located a 5-minute walk from Nishitetsu Kurume station, next to a Seven Eleven on Kaibutsu-kun street in Higashimachi. The restaurant has a hidden feel with its white walls, but it is a proper yakiniku place. I have been here a few times before when I used to live in Kurume. A senior colleague wanted to eat delicious maruchou (round intestine), so I thought of this place. This was actually my second stop, and I was quite drunk, so I apologize for not having any photos. The thing I always enjoy at Ryuokan is the service. The staff are energetic, cheerful, and greet you with a smile, which I really like. I haven't been to many yakiniku places in the past few years, but I think about half of them were at Ryuokan. The restaurant has a very stylish vibe, and it seems to attract a younger crowd. The meat is reasonably priced, and the maruchou is particularly impressive - it's delicious and chewy. I always get the garlic sauce with lots of green onions, which is my favorite. It was so good. Next time, I'll make sure to take lots of photos and contribute to the restaurant. I will definitely go back!

I use it after work ★ I always go close to the last order because I always finish work late, so I apologize to the staff for the inconvenience>< Now, let's get into the content haha The meat quality is good, so it's delicious as expected, but the sauce was amazing!! I always order the Caesar salad, and it's served quickly, which is nice♪ My go-to menu item "maru intestine" was also delicious and juicy^^ The downside is... the other day, I ordered almond jelly. It took a long time to arrive for some reason, and it had bugs in it... It's disappointing when the ending is like this^^; But I can confidently recommend this place as a great restaurant☆

At first, I used the main store in Kurume for entertaining. The beef (A5 rank wagyu as stated on the menu) and kimchi were delicious, so I also tried the other stores in Munakata and Futsukaichi. However, I think Kurume was the best in terms of both service and taste (maybe it's the atmosphere?!). This place offers reasonably priced wagyu beef that is delicious, and my recommendation is the tomato kimchi. The only downside is that the side menu is limited, so it's a good choice when you want to eat a lot of meat. Anyway, the meat is delicious!

Ryuokan is located near Nishitetsu Kurume, next to a Seven Eleven. It's a quiet little shop that may be easy to miss, but don't be fooled - it's not quiet inside at all. When you think of yakiniku, you might imagine it being expensive, but Ryuokan offers high-quality meat at reasonable prices. They don't have a parking lot, but if you ask, the owner will help you find a spot. With great service like that, don't miss out on Ryuokan!

I tried a course at a different store in Kurume and it became my favorite chain restaurant. I went there aiming for the Matsusaka beef course with a coupon. Matsusaka beef...ヽ(*´∀`)ノ Everyone must have heard of it and wanted to try it at least once. I was filled with anticipation for this highly sought-after meat. The course included kimchi, salad, beef sushi, salt-grilled beef, teriyaki beef, rice, miso soup, dessert, and it was a menu that would surely fill you up. In fact, I was so full at the end that it was uncomfortable. But when it comes to the quality of the meat, it might not fill your heart as much as your stomach. What I was looking forward to the most was the beef sushi!! And it's Matsusaka beef!! I was very excited to finally try it↑↑ However, the reality was... maybe I had set my expectations too high. What was brought to the table was different from the Saga beef course I had tried at another store before. It had too much fat... I blurted out unintentionally (^^:) The marbling of the meat lacked impact - it felt like the meat was lacking depth in flavor. The other meats in the course also didn't elicit an "ohh" reaction. It was just kind of... meh. The beef was Matsusaka beef, but the chicken and pork seemed overshadowed by the Matsusaka beef. I was not as impressed as when I tried the Saga beef course at a nearby store, and I was surprised by how different the experiences were at different locations (ーー:) The lesson learned was that the store matters, and that Saga beef is still the best (laughs) Thank you for the meal.

I was in charge of organizing a drinking party in Kurume. After researching various options, I decided on Ryuohkan! Because they are offering a limited time special where you can enjoy the 7,500 yen course (with all-you-can-drink) for only 3,900 yen. I made a reservation right away. As soon as I entered the restaurant, I was greeted by the energetic voices of the staff. I informed them of my reservation and they guided us smoothly to our table. The staff all seemed to be in their 20s, but they were all working efficiently and smoothly. The course included seared Matsusaka beef sushi, 6 types of grilled meat (Matsusaka beef, Wagyu beef, pork, offal), warm mushroom salad, rice, miso soup, and dessert (something like almond jelly). The quality of the meat was a bit disappointing when compared to Matsusaka beef, but the staff's quick response, cheerful voices, and precise timing in serving the food, as well as their detailed instructions on how to eat, made up for it. I have great respect for the staff who managed to operate at such a high level even during the busy hours. It's great to see that there are other restaurants in Kurume with such high-level staff. It was a comfortable and welcoming restaurant, and drinking with good friends in such a place is truly a blessing. The fact that they escorted us to the exit even after we paid the bill left a good impression. Thank you for the wonderful meal.
