"It is a designated rare disease by the government that worsens symptoms especially when it is hot. Unfortunately, there is still no medicine to cure my rare disease. By administering "blood products" for 5 consecutive days, symptoms temporarily improve for a short period of time. Last year, I was hospitalized 5 times for rare disease treatment. I was discharged for the third time this year 2 months ago, but last night I was urgently discharged for the fourth time this year. Your supportive comments are always a source of energy for me during each hospitalization. I am truly grateful. Thank you for your continued support. Review will be done in consultation with my condition. Due to poor health, comments and replies are significantly delayed. I will reply as soon as my condition improves, so please be patient. "Niboshi Ramen Kitaei" opened on September 29, 2022 at 6:00 am. It is a second brand of "Ramen Sakai," a popular shop with homemade noodles in the northern area of the city. The shop was opened after "Oota Ramen-ten" relocated to Minami-Horocho. I visited for the first time for morning ramen with my usual companion. This shop is located in the northern area of Sapporo City, near Sapporo Kita-ei Junior High School. Please check the exact location of the shop on Tabelog. I visited around 5:30 am on a weekday. There were already more than 10 people waiting in line. The shop has about 8 counter seats. We entered on the second round. Inside the shop, there is a ticket machine on the right. The ramen menu includes "[b Niboshi Tamari Shoyu 700 yen]" and "Niboshi Shio 700 yen." There are also toppings and rice available. Both my companion and I ordered "Niboshi Tamari Shoyu." I added "Menma extra 150 yen" and "Noodle large serving 100 yen." We waited for exactly 1 hour from lining up in front of the shop, and two "Niboshi Tamari Shoyu Ramen" dishes arrived. I shared the extra Menma with my companion. ■ Niboshi Shoyu Ramen The homemade thin straight Chinese noodles were a good match for the soup. The noodles were cooked just right and the hot soup had a light Niboshi flavor that went well with the Chinese soba noodles. The saltiness was slightly high, but the deliciousness of the Tamari Shoyu was prominent. Ingredients Chashu Medium size 3 slices Menma Wood ear mushrooms Chopped green onions Nori Price 700 yen (tax included) ■ Toppings Noodle large serving 100 yen Menma extra 150 yen "Niboshi Shoyu Ramen is a gentle Niboshi-flavored taste suitable for morning ramen. It is a comforting and healthy option compared to tonkotsu-based ramen. The combination of Tamari Shoyu and homemade noodles is excellent. The morning ramen business continues from the previous shop "Oota Ramen-ten," which is delightful. The shop manager used to work at Yamaoka-ya in Honshu, but returned to Sapporo after several years due to his parents' health. It is a shop that you want to support for various reasons. Next time, I will try the other option, "Niboshi Shio 700 yen," for morning ramen. It was delicious, thank you."

First visit. There is a parking lot with space for 7 cars next to the shop. Park in front. Morning ramen is served from 6:00 to 9:00. From 11:00 to 15:00. Upon entering the shop, there is a ticket machine. I selected the top menu item, Niboshi Tare Shoyu for 750 yen. I sat at an available counter seat and handed over the ticket. It was served without much wait. It came with 2 slices of chashu, menma, aburaage, seaweed, and chopped green onions. The chashu was flavorful and meaty. The menma was thick and crunchy. The thin straight noodles had a firm texture which I liked. The soup had a subtle taste of niboshi and tare shoyu. It's great to be able to eat this for 750 yen. (September 2023)

I don't usually eat dried fish ramen, but I decided to visit to see if my taste had changed as I got older. The soup had a strong dried fish flavor, with the taste of dried fish spreading in my mouth. It might be a bit tough for someone like me who isn't a fan of fish. However, for those who love dried fish, it would be irresistible.

I entered the restaurant a little earlier than usual for lunch. There was one customer already there. Recently, ramen shops seem to mostly use ticket machines. I ordered the Tsugaru miso ramen with dried fish broth. At first, it looked surprisingly light for a miso ramen. When I tried the soup, I realized that it had a strong fishy smell, which I found a bit overwhelming. I also tasted my companion's soy sauce ramen, which didn't have as much of a fishy taste as the miso ramen. Maybe it's just the miso broth that is like that. I realized that in the past, the dried fish broth ramen I had was mixed with pork bone or fat, which may have toned down the fishiness. I might reconsider proudly declaring that I like dried fish broth ramen from now on. However, the morning ramen seems to be popular, and there are a few parking spaces right next to the shop, making it convenient to visit. The seating is limited but clean, and the presentation of the ramen is meticulous. Above all, if you enjoy the taste of fish, this place is good for you.

Morning Ramen Club. Today is my first visit here ^_^ There are seven parking spaces available. Plenty of them. However, make sure to park facing forward! After parking, the owner comes to check if you parked facing forward. There are many signs inside the store reminding customers to park facing forward too! Now, for my order... I chose the morning ramen for 550 yen. They also had regular soy sauce, miso, and salt flavors, but since I came for breakfast, I went with the morning ramen. For toppings, I added green onions for 120 yen, ginger for 120 yen, and extra thick bamboo shoots for 150 yen, making the total 940 yen for this pricey ramen. It arrived in about 5 minutes. It looked like a light soy sauce ramen. But wait, where are the toppings? Comparing it to my friend's regular morning ramen bowl, well, the ginger is nice. The green onions are pretty much the same. And the extra thick bamboo shoots... for 150 yen, they increased the quantity, but I'm not sure where the "extra thick" part is... The cost performance may not be the best ^_^ The ramen itself was just right for the morning - light and easy to eat with a mild taste ^_^

I tried the Asa Ramen salt flavor. The Tsugaru miso and Tamari soy sauce were delicious, but the salt flavor was also very tasty. I also had the Tamago Kake Gohan from Kurayama Sakai Farm, but I mixed it before taking a photo. This place is also one of my go-to spots for Asa Ramen, always consistently delicious.

The shop is clean and the owners are friendly, making it a comforting place to eat. The Niboshi (dried sardine) ramen didn't have a strong Niboshi flavor, so if you're looking for something rich, this might not be for you. However, during the hot summer months, both the Niboshi ramen and the cold ramen were light and refreshing. The cold ramen comes with curly noodles, but I personally prefer straight noodles, so that was a bit disappointing. Also, I felt like the curly noodles had a tendency to break easily. However, the noodles had a nice chewy texture and were very delicious.

2023♡♡65th bowl, 7/22, just after 9 am, I tried the Niboshi Shoyu Ramen at Hokuei-san, which also offers morning ramen. I had been curious about this place, but I always miss the 9 am deadline. However, since they are open all day on weekends and holidays, I decided to give it a try. It seems that as long as you arrive 15 minutes before, you can still have the morning ramen. I usually go for miso ramen, but this time I tried the shoyu ramen. It was delicious! I even finished all the soup. The two slices of chashu were a nice surprise, and they were delicious too! The thin noodles were smooth and had a great texture. The portion was not small either, so I left feeling very satisfied. This is a ramen that I would definitely recommend. It was light yet satisfying. It was the best. Thank you for the meal! ( ´ ▽ ` )ノ

Last night's dinner was a bit too light, so I woke up hungry this morning and decided to try morning ramen for the first time. I went to Niboshi Ramen Hokuei, which opens at 6 am. I arrived around 6:30 am, feeling a bit skeptical, but the restaurant was open! There were already a couple of customers inside, and more started coming in, so the place was almost full. This seems to be a second brand store of Sakai, a famous ramen shop in Asao. So, I expected the taste to be pretty good. I originally planned to order morning ramen, but the Niboshi Shoyu Ramen looked delicious, so I changed my order. It was served in about 5 minutes and looked just as appetizing as in the photos. The noodles were thin straight noodles, which I love just like in Sakai's ramen. The soup was surprisingly light and perfect for a morning meal. The char siu was seared and had a delicious aroma without any hint of porky taste. It was my first time trying morning ramen, but it was totally worth it. I'll have to come back before work sometime. I've always wondered why there isn't an option for "morning" in the food type on Tabelog...

I heard that there is a second branch of Ramen Sakai at Asao Station, so I decided to visit. They offer a special morning ramen called "Morning Ra~♪" starting from 6:00. I had the Morning Ra~ for 500 yen, which is only available in the morning. The soup was refreshing yet flavorful, and the thin noodles were easy to eat. I will definitely come back next time to try their regular menu!

★Niboshi Ramen Hokuei @ Niboshi Tare Shoyu ¥700
After finishing with the morning customers and having some free time until the next reservation (17:30~), I decided to make a 2-hour reservation for a motorcycle riding lesson at 15:30 and grab lunch in the meantime! So, I visited this place for the first time. The restaurant was relatively quiet with one customer before me and one after. I went to the usual ticket vending machine and selected the top left button for "Niboshi Tare Shoyu"! The clear soup was unexpected as I thought it would be a darker color due to the name "Tare Shoyu". The aroma of the niboshi (dried baby sardines) that passed through my nostrils and the gentle umami flavor of the tare shoyu were irresistible. The low water content made it easy to slurp the noodles, which paired perfectly with the flavorful niboshi soup! The chashu pork had a nice meaty texture, the menma bamboo shoots had a satisfying crunch, and the soaked wheat gluten was excellent as well. I felt like I could have eaten a bit more, but considering the motorcycle lesson I had later, it was probably best to hold back. I haven't had the chance to visit often due to my schedule, but I will definitely come back when I find the time! Thank you for the meal! #NiboshiRamenHokuei #Hokuei #NiboshiTareShoyu #NiboshiRamen #TareShoyu #TareShoyuRamen #MorningRamen #NiboshiRamen2023

I decided to enjoy "morning ramen" for breakfast during my stay in Sapporo. The coordinator recommended a shop called "Hokuei" that serves a unique bowl of Tsugaru-style dried fish ramen. Despite being in Sapporo, I was intrigued by the idea of trying this dish. The shop was busy with people heading to work on a weekday morning. I chose the soy sauce flavor and soon my bowl arrived. The neatly arranged noodles caught my eye, along with the chashu, thick menma, fried tofu, and chopped green onions. The soup had a distinct Tsugaru-style dried fish flavor, different from the trendy dried fish broths. It had a hint of acidity, likely from the soy sauce. The noodles had a satisfying texture and flavor. The menma, chashu, and fried tofu were of good quality. Overall, it was an enjoyable bowl of ramen. I am curious to try the salt and miso flavors next time.

This shop, famous for its morning ramen, was visited at lunchtime this time. There was only one customer when I arrived, and I had the place to myself for a while. I ordered the boiled dried sardine soy sauce ramen with wonton and ginger toppings. It took about 7 minutes for the ramen to arrive. First, I tried the wonton, which was large and delicious. Next, I tasted the chashu, which was average. Then, I tried the noodles, which were straight and delicious. Lastly, the soup was perfect. It was an excellent meal overall.

This is a ramen shop located in the Higashi Ward, North 34 area of Sapporo City. It was my first visit. The shop has a faint aroma of dried bonito in the air and is not very spacious, with only 8 seats at the counter in a U-shape. The elderly male owner manages the shop alone. It was lunchtime on a weekday, and shortly after I entered, the shop was almost full. I ordered the Niboshi Tsugaru Miso ramen. The soup looked like soy sauce at first, with a moderate dried bonito flavor and a slight acidity. The miso flavor was very subtle, almost to the point where the saltiness was hardly noticeable, making the overall taste very light. Since many ramen shops in Aomori serve very richly flavored ramen, I had high expectations for a strong miso broth here, so I was quite disappointed. The broth was so light that I ended up adding the soy sauce from the table condiments, and the miso flavor quickly disappeared, leaving a completely soy sauce flavor. The noodles were thin straight noodles with a slight kansui flavor, which I liked. Although they were not thick, they were the type of noodles commonly found in Aomori. The chashu, seaweed, and bamboo shoots were delicious, but the fact that they were also lightly seasoned was a letdown. Perhaps it's better to have soy sauce here. Nevertheless, in this day and age, a bowl of ramen for ¥750 feels quite affordable. Thank you for the meal~.

On Sunday, the temperature rose to around 22 degrees Celsius, and perhaps because of that, there were no customers at the ramen shop. I ordered the Shio Ramen with dried fish and soy sauce for 700 yen, and added a seasoned egg for 120 yen. The visual presentation looked delicious. The soup had a gentle sweetness from the dried fish, and the medium-thin noodles had a nice chewiness that scooped up the soup well. The three slices of pork belly chashu had a good texture. Although there was a lack of egg, the seasoned egg topping was appreciated for its delicious, runny yolk. Overall, the ramen was healthy and delicious, and also reasonably priced. I would like to try their Tsugaru miso ramen next time. Thank you for the meal! After me, three customers who had just finished golfing came in. It seems like a perfect place to stop by on the way back from a round of golf.

Morning Ramen (Soy Sauce) 500 yen
Recently, morning ramen has been trending. I heard that the popular Oota Ramen shop is now serving morning ramen, so I decided to try it at Hokuei-san. I arrived before 9 am and the counter seats were almost full. I bought a ticket for the morning ramen from the machine and handed it to the staff before taking a seat. They asked if I wanted soy sauce or salt, and I chose soy sauce. The bowl arrived in about 5 minutes, along with the aroma of dried fish rising up. The thin straight noodles were great. The clear soup with a gentle dried fish flavor, without much oil, paired well with the ingredients like chashu, menma, naruto, green onions. It was a perfect style for morning ramen. And all of this for just 500 yen. I am grateful for the reasonable price. Thank you for the meal!

I arrived at the restaurant a little after 2:30 pm, but they let me in. The clear taste of tamari soy sauce and the umami from the dried sardines matched perfectly, and the chewy noodles kept coming into my mouth. It seems they open from 6 am in the morning.

The compact interior of the restaurant allows for quick service once you place your order. The female staff in the dining area seemed inexperienced as they made a lot of noise handling dishes, but it was understandable. The char siu had a strong smoky flavor with a lingering deliciousness. The wontons were also tasty. The noodles and soup were nothing particularly noteworthy.

Morning activity on a certain holiday is at Niboshi Ramen Hokuei! It's my first time at this shop. Arrived at 6:50 AM, no customers yet, one group of 2 customers arrived later. There is one male staff handling everything. Today's order was the Niboshi Tare Shoyu Ramen for 700 yen. It took about 5 minutes to be served. The Niboshi Tare Shoyu soup had a slightly strong salty taste but was elegant and good. The medium-thin noodles seemed to be low hydration noodles, and they paired perfectly with the soup. The chashu was delicious, but I prefer it a bit softer. It was a delicious meal. Thank you!

Boiled dried sardine soy sauce ramen with extra noodles and char siu topping. The ramen base was shoyu (soy sauce) flavor with a strong dried sardine taste. The charred char siu aroma paired perfectly with the dried sardine, and the noodles were very smooth. I finished all the soup. It was nice to see so much char siu piled on top that you couldn't even see the noodles.
