This is an izakaya where you can enjoy authentic Chinese cuisine. They are open until late at night and have a wide variety of menu options. I visited for the first time and ended up going 5 times in a month because I loved it so much. As the name suggests, the main dish is grilled skewers with Chinese spices, which are delicious. The lamb skewers are especially juicy and tender compared to other places. I also really like the fish tofu and black pork sausage. The skewers are always served warm, which is great. Be careful with the spicy grilled clams. I also enjoy the Chinese jellyfish, quail, and oysters in garlic sauce. The Peking duck was also delicious and very filling. I think the cost performance is excellent. You can order everything from the table's QR code (or verbally). Ordering online allows you to keep track of your bill, which is reassuring. The service is great and they speak Japanese, so communication is not a problem.

This is an izakaya where you can enjoy authentic Chinese cuisine. The menu is very diverse, and the dishes we ordered this time were Chinese jellyfish, tsubugai with wasabi, lamb skewers, beef honeycomb tripe skewers, beef tendon skewers, squid tentacle skewers, fish tofu skewers, grilled squid, scallops with garlic sauce, and oysters with garlic sauce. The grilled dishes, especially the lamb, beef honeycomb tripe, and beef tendon skewers, were exquisite. I was impressed by the fact that the skewers were always served warm. All the other dishes were also delicious. The satisfaction level of the food was high, and the prices were reasonable, making it a great value for money. The service was also excellent, and communication was not a problem as they also speak Japanese. Furthermore, they are open until late at night, so you can enjoy a meal even in the late hours.

It's a slightly larger restaurant with Chinese staff, but they speak fluent Japanese and the ordering is done through QR codes, so no conversation is needed. The staff were kind and efficient. All the customers, except for me, seemed to be Chinese and I didn't hear any Japanese being spoken. We ordered dishes like drool chicken, lamb skewers, chicken tail skewers, and grilled squid, along with bottled beer. The drinks were a bit pricey. The drool chicken was disappointing as it seemed to be frozen with a store-bought sauce. However, the spiced skewers were delicious. Skewers might be the best value for money. The grilled squid is a safe and tasty choice. Overall, the restaurant seems more suitable for groups rather than solo diners.

The other day, on my way home from work, I made a stop at a newly opened Chinese-style izakaya called "Kushiyaki Sakaba Minamibo". It is located along Sen'nichimae Street, right in front of the National Bunraku Theatre. The restaurant is very bright and decorated with many celebratory flowers. The menu mainly consists of grilled skewers, as well as Chinese appetizers, side dishes, and dim sum. You can even order using your own smartphone. I ordered lamb skewers, beef honeycomb skewers, braised beef, eggplant with garlic sauce, grilled dumplings, and xiaolongbao. Everything was well-seasoned with spices and garlic, making it perfect for enjoying with drinks. The young Chinese owner was very friendly and chatted with us. As we were having a great time, he even gave us a complimentary highball. It's convenient that they are open until 1 am, making it a great place to stop by on the way home from work. I would love to visit again. Thank you for the delicious meal!
