Great value for money. No smoky smell, quick service, and generous portions of rice. The meat was incredibly delicious. The daily grilled meat set comes with kimchi, soup, and a choice of rice. You can enjoy authentic grilled meat from lunchtime with the charcoal grill at each table. While lunch may be a bit limited, you can fully enjoy yourself with delicious grilled meat in the evening.

It takes about 15 minutes to walk from Namba Station. The restaurant I arrived at is a hormone shop. For starters, you can get a set with a glass of draft beer, a plate of hormone, and kimchi for ¥1,100. There is a generous amount of hormone in the dish. With alcohol, it's a good value for around ¥3,000 per person.

I went to "Maruya Butcher Shop" in Namba by myself. I was lured by the sign outside advertising draft beer for 280 yen. However, the beer turned out to be tasteless. I wonder what kind of beer it was. The other alcoholic drinks and meat were not that cheap either, and the taste was mediocre. The grill was uneven, making it difficult to cook. The meat even fell off once. The service by the Chinese staff was not bad though.

The humor may seem like it's slipping, but it's typical of Tsutsumi's work to include touching episodes throughout. Today, I visited the yakiniku restaurant "Maruya Seinikuten" on Yotsubashi-suji. Oh, they started serving lunch. They used to only be open at night. I was heading to another restaurant, but changed course and went in here. The bibimbap (580 yen) was good, but the main attraction was the yakiniku set meal. The cold noodles and bibimbap were also appealing. The bibimbap, which I hadn't had in a while, stood out. It was topped generously with namul and kimchi. I mixed it well before eating, and the texture changed depending on where I scooped from, making it enjoyable. I wished it had a bit more volume, but it was still good. Finally, I finished off with a seaweed soup and felt pleasantly satisfied. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal. I walked the path with diligence, ended stealthily, and have no regrets.

It seems that Maruya Butcher Shop in Namba Motomachi has started serving lunch from August 15th. They offer a special yakiniku set for 1200 yen, which includes salad, soup, kimchi, and rice with grilled meat. You can choose from small, medium, or large rice portions, but refills are not allowed. Even though it seemed like one staff member was missing and they were busy, when I made an additional order the first time, they remembered what I had said and took that into account when I made a second additional order. I was impressed. I want to go again! But it's really confusing to get there from the station!
