In the Depachika (basement food floor) of Hankyu Umeda Main Store, there is a Japanese cuisine shop offering seasonal vegetable dishes such as Japanese salads and simmered dishes with flavorful broth. One recommended dish is the Fig and Smoked Chicken Japanese salad, where the ripe figs and tangy dressing create a delicious combination. Another highlight is the simmered Taro, a delicate dish with a hint of dashi (broth) flavor.

I must have bought something here before, but it slipped my mind. This is RF1's ROCK FIELD Japanese-style brand. I usually shop at Nada Man Kitchen, Minoyoshi, and Matsuoka in that order, so I rarely end up at this corner of the floor, but like RF1, the quality here is excellent. A bowl of plenty of vegetables and tofu in soy milk white miso, a Japanese salad with grilled princess bamboo shoots, and a yuzu-scented marbled white cabbage roll.

I visited the store in December 2020. It is located in the basement of Hankyu Department Store in Umeda. I looked around and found a Christmas mini hors d'oeuvre for 2160 yen, which was reasonably priced. I bought it and enjoyed it at home. It had an elegant taste that paired well with wine. I highly recommend it.

Located a 3-5 minute walk from Umeda Station is the deli counter Itohan Hankyu Umeda Store. This upscale deli offers a variety of salads and side dishes, with prices that are 3-4 times higher than those at regular supermarkets, making it a shop for those with a bit of extra cash to spare. I purchased the popular Avocado Salad (200g), which was priced at over 850 yen even with a vegetable day discount. Despite the high cost, the quality of the vegetables was excellent! If you're looking to treat yourself to a luxurious salad, be sure to visit this place. Bon appétit!

【Cage Match Participation】→ I had decided to definitely buy "Fujian Fried Noodles," but this time I decided to try "Hew Tastes Salad" for the first time and stopped by "Ito Han-san" (*´∀`*)ノ。+゜*。(Of course, I bought that thing with "Asian fusion" yo! (←) www) Everything looked delicious, but "Island Tofu" and "New Onion" became the deciding factor, so I bought 2 types for now (`・ω・´)!!////////////Purchase Contents////////////☆ Avocado & Okinawa Island Tofu Salad☆ Awaji Island New Onion Salad/////////////////////////////////"Light" and "CP is relatively good with this" so I immediately liked it♬※ Eating the salad bought at "Ito Han-san," supporting Cage Match, was very pleasant (p`・ω・´q)!!

Today, I bought some deli dishes at Hankyu Department Store for dinner. Whenever I go to Hankyu Department Store, I always end up buying their deli dishes because they look so appetizingly displayed. And they taste just as good as they look. Today, I bought fried whole squid, which looked really tempting. The squid had a crispy texture and was very delicious, although it had a slightly strong spice flavor, so it might be a bit challenging for those who don't like spicy food. Personally, I was fine with it and it went really well with beer. Although there were other dishes that caught my eye, I already bought quite a few today, so I decided to stop at just this one. I'll definitely come back for more.

I bought various deli items at the basement 1st floor of Hankyu Department Store in Umeda. I really like it here and have been coming back multiple times. I bought about 100g each of 6 different items and it ended up costing over 2600 yen~ I could have had a light meal out instead (sweat). The octopus salad was great, I added my own vegetables and the red shiso dressing that came with it was just right. The fried saury marinated in mirin was crispy and had a nice sweetness to it. The fried taro had a rich flavor and was delicious. The potato salad with mentaiko had big chunks of mentaiko in it~ The white sesame dressing, yuba, and okra in dashi broth were also consistently delicious.

When it comes to gourmet food in the basement of Umeda, Hankyu Department Store is a popular choice, but I decided to stop by the basement of Hankyu Department Store since it was conveniently located. They have a good selection of food, similar to Hankyu Department Store. Near the entrance, there is a section for "Itohan" delicatessen. They mainly offer a variety of side dishes, and they also have a decent selection of bento boxes that all look delicious. I chose the "Vegetable-packed Japanese salad bento" and when I went to pay, the female staff seemed a bit busy with other customers buying side dishes, so a male staff member stepped in to help me. He wrapped the bento carefully and even included a cold pack, which was nice. The portion size was a bit small, but it had a variety of ingredients, so I didn't get tired of it. The rolled sticky rice made with brown rice was especially delicious. The seasoning was light and typical of Kansai style. Although it felt a bit pricey, if you want to enjoy something delicious or try a variety of ingredients, it might be just right for you. Bon appétit!

A salad-focused deli located in Umeda Hankyu. I have used it a couple of times. There are only a few salad shops like this and RF1, so when I feel like eating salad, I end up coming here. (RF1 is good too, but it's so common that it doesn't feel special.) You can enjoy fresh vegetables with a Japanese twist here, and it's delicious.
- Potato salad with a dashi flavor: 292 yen/100g
Potatoes + Dashi = the taste of nikujaga (Japanese meat and potato stew)... A salad with the flavor of nikujaga is surprisingly tasty.
- Kyoto-grown Kujo green onions and Awaji-produced chirimen salad: 411 yen/1 pack (about 100g)
The green onions are mild in spiciness, true to Kujo green onions. The chirimen doesn't overpower. The harmony between the sunny lettuce and the dressing was well-balanced.

I purchased 100 grams of a Japanese salad with plenty of figs to enjoy as a side dish with beer. It contained smoked chicken, onions, and other ingredients, all topped with a refreshing dressing. The sweetness of the figs, the smoky flavor of the chicken, and the light dressing made for a delicious combination.

I don't usually go to the basement floor of Hankyu Department Store unless I have a good reason. It's always crowded and the shops are expensive, so I rarely buy anything for myself. This time, I came to buy something for myself using the "Osaka Premium Gift Voucher" that I still have. I decided to get some deli food for dinner tonight! However, since I don't come here often, I don't know where to find what. I wandered around and found a deli near the entrance selling bento-like meals. They had a healthy Japanese meal called "Brown Rice Roll and Tsukune with Colorful Vegetables Bento" for 865 yen, which seemed healthy and not too expensive. It even had a nutrition facts label. The meal seemed healthy with 461kcal, 19.9g of protein, 17.1g of fat, 57.0g of carbohydrates, and 3.3g of salt equivalent. The protein content could be a bit higher. If it's not enough, I can always cook some dumplings. For dinner, I had the bento without heating it up. It had a lot of vegetables. The brown rice roll was like an inside-out sushi roll, chewy and delicious. The beautiful rolled omelette, hijiki simmered dish, and pumpkin simmered dish were tasty. The tsukune was small but delicious, I wanted more. I should have heated it up. The carrot, konjac, and edamame salad was good, but there was too much lettuce taking up space. It felt a bit lacking with just that. But I'll manage. It's a healthy bento, so I shouldn't overeat. My daughter preferred the tsukune and rolled omelette warm. It cost 865 yen, which is a bit pricey for a meal like this. I'll stick to 551 next time. But they say rich people spend money on food, so maybe they're eating these healthy meals. It's not something we can afford at home. I'll come back when there's another premium offer.

I took out the "Vegetable-rich Japanese-style salad bento box" (1,188 yen) from "Hankyu Umeda Main Store" by "Rock Field". Rock Field Co., Ltd. is a Kobe-based company listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange that manufactures and sells prepared foods. The name Rock Field comes from the founder Mr. Iwata's name, with "rock" from "iwa" and "field" from "ta". The bento box includes "minced meat miso tofu", "carrot and green pepper kinpira", "sweet potato simmered dish", "bamboo shoot simmered dish", "chicken tofu hamburger", "edamame chawanmushi", broccoli, roasted pumpkin, and cherry tomatoes. The salad contains hijiki, barley, and quinoa with onion dressing. Also included are brown rice rolls, udo flowers, and purple cabbage and salt koji chicken salad. It was healthy and delicious, made with half a day's worth of vegetables.

I went to the store on my way back from work and bought the following items: tea pickles (duck and kombu), water eggplant and water octopus, and jimami tofu. I really liked all of them, they are my favorite foods. I might like deli foods the most.

Tonight, I ended up stopping by Hankyu Department Store again for takeout... and ended up buying something again. Today, I bought a bento box from Itohan! ★ Ebi katsu and chicken soboro rice bento box ¥1300 (excluding tax). The charm of this bento box is that it has plenty of vegetable side dishes ❤️ The ebi katsu has lots of shrimp. There were so many side dishes that I couldn't even finish the soboro rice ( ;∀;) Huh? Am I a light eater...? Actually, I used it as a snack for my drinks haha And I'm planning to eat sweets afterwards, so my fat storage is going well haha. 8-7 Kakuda-cho, Osaka, Osaka, Hankyu Umeda Main Store B1F ☎️ 06-6361-1381 ⏰ [Mon-Tue-Sun] 10:00-20:00 [Wed-Sat] 10:00-21:00 Closed on the same days as Hankyu Department Store Umeda Main Store. At Umeda Hankyu B1 "Itohan", they serve a Japanese salad called dashi chazuke that I've been curious about. When I pass by after overtime, it's 30% off! ★ Beef shigure-ni and multigrain grilled rice with dashi chazuke, tax included 594 yen → 415 yen. Lately, I've been feeling tired, so I want to eat something light. The dashi pack and ingredients are completely separated in the container. You put the ingredients other than wasabi in the bottom bowl, pour in the dashi, lightly cover it, and microwave it at 500w for 1 minute and 50 seconds. I tried it, but it still seemed lukewarm. I broke up the rice ball and microwaved it again for 20 seconds. Hmm, I added another 20 seconds. Finally, it got hot. The multigrain rice is soft but still has a chewy texture. The beef shigure-ni adds richness and makes it delicious (^-^) I wanted more of this beef, haha. It might be good for late-night snacks or breakfast too!

I got takeout from Hankyu Department Store! I fell in love with their pork at first sight. Getting affordable takeout of delicious side dishes is great. The tender salted pork with yuzu pepper and green onion sauce was amazing. It cost 799 yen for 150g, but maybe 100g would have been enough for one person. It was so soft and incredibly delicious! Thank you for the meal!

I went to register at a temporary staffing agency and on the way back, I decided to use the takeout service. "I really like this place (*'ω`*)" Sometimes I buy things here before going to baseball games, so I stopped by after a long time.
Purchased items:
- Island tofu & avocado
- Octopus & watercress
Both were delicious! I don't usually have the opportunity to go shopping here, so I want to go buy more items twice as often.

I went to Hankyu Umeda Store in the late evening. When I was looking at the deli items at Itohan, there were only about three types left, but I found a discounted fry wrapped in shiso leaves. It was made with chicken tenderloin, shiso leaves, and cheese rolled into a fry. It was refreshing and very delicious. I thought it would go well with beer, but the balanced flavor with a subdued punch actually paired better with Pinot. It was unexpected, but delightful.
