In the middle of Ujihashi Street, just one street south of JR Uji Station, there is a restaurant called "Antica Pizzeria L'ASINELLO". Despite it being a weekday lunchtime, the place was packed with customers. I decided to try the "Half & Half" option, where you can choose two different types of pizza. The first one was Bismarck (mozzarella, mushrooms, egg) and the second one was tomato-based (I forgot the name). The pizzas were cooked perfectly, with a nice balance of softness and crispiness in the crust. The flavors were amazing, especially the one with mushrooms and egg. I also tried another combination with tuna, onions, and mozzarella, which was equally delicious. The pizzas were so good that I finished them quickly. The presentation of sugar and fresh on the side of the hot coffee was a nice touch. Overall, I had a great dining experience and would love to come back again. It would be helpful if the menu had photos to make it easier to choose. Thank you for the wonderful meal.

I had planned to visit Uji on a sightseeing trip to Nara and Kyoto, so I made a reservation at a pizza restaurant that caught my interest and visited. It was a weekday afternoon, so the restaurant was empty. After wandering around Byodoin Temple in the heat, I was soothed by the cool interior of the restaurant. We ordered a "Octopus and Celery Salad", "Caprese", and one pizza to share between the two of us. It was just the right amount. The pizza had a delicious crust, so I would like to try a different variety next time I visit. The only downside was that there were bugs flying around during the meal, but I thought it might be unavoidable due to the location. Perhaps because we had made a reservation, we even received donuts as a gift on our way out. I will definitely stop by again when I visit Uji next time.

It is a street lined with Italian restaurants, pudding shops, general stores, and coffee shops. When you enter the street, you can see a shop with a pizza oven, and at the counter, there are lots of donuts piled up high. I couldn't resist and bought one for a snack. The donut was firm with sugar sprinkled on the outside.

Uji... A pizza shop right at the entrance of Osaka-ya Market. They have a wide variety of menu options and use a traditional pizza oven. Although there are now many Italian oven pizza shops around, this place serves delicious Neapolitan-style pizzas. While all the pizzas are tasty, the limited edition fig pizza priced at 3,300 yen seems a bit expensive, don't you think? Overall, the prices here seem a bit high, but the food is delicious so I will definitely visit again.

When I went to Uji, I wanted to eat at a certain restaurant, but it was closed on the days I tried to go. Honestly, I wasn't in the mood for pizza today, but my first choice was full and my second choice had a one-hour wait. So, I decided to go to Radicchio instead! Even though it's a popular place, I managed to get a table in an hour. I ordered octopus and celery salad, Margherita pizza, ginger ale, and grapefruit juice. The salad had firm octopus and a refreshing dressing. The pizza had a chewy crust and fruity tomato sauce, which was delicious. However, it was a bit pricey for a lunch meal, costing around 6000 yen for one pizza, drinks, and salad. I felt a bit intimidated to eat quickly in 30 minutes. Celebrities, take your time and enjoy the delicious pizza!笑

I passed by many times and wandered around Osaka-ya Market. I wonder why they were hopping over cats. When I passed by once, I noticed that it was full and they had an amazing pizza oven. Many reviewers I follow have been there, so I decided to make a reservation and go. I ordered a glass of red wine for 950 yen, non-alcoholic beer for 550 yen, arugula and cheese salad for 1500 yen, which was quite generous in portion. The buffalo mozzarella Margherita was delicious at 2600 yen. The Cinque Formaggi with 5 types of cheese was also tasty, but I couldn't finish it, so I had 2 slices packed to go. The pizza had a thin center and a voluminous crust. I also ordered olives for 700 yen and another beer for 650 yen, which were a bit pricey. They had a wide selection of wines. In the morning, I will have pizza and donuts. In my opinion, the top 3 pizzas are from Kagoshima's Riders Cafe 55 Miles, Gorilla's Kitchen I visited the other day, and here. When I asked a taxi driver if there were any good spaghetti restaurants during my trip to Italy, he said there weren't any but there are good pizza places, which I now understand.

I was able to enter without waiting in line, perhaps because the lunch peak had passed! I had been looking forward to visiting this place as it is already famous. The staff were very friendly and recommended some dishes to us. The atmosphere inside the restaurant was stylish, and we had a great time there. ^_^

On my way to visiting Byodoin Temple, I stopped by this restaurant to satisfy my hunger. The interior was decorated like a typical Neapolitan pizzeria. The extensive wine and food menu immediately showed the owner's love for cooking. I had a beer today, but they also offer a wide selection of glass wines. Although the pizza was a bit pricey, it was justified by the generous amount of toppings. I tried the champion pizza, which was loaded with artichokes and olives that enhanced the deliciousness of the crust. During lunchtime, they offer a free drink with each pizza. It's a great restaurant that understands its customers well. Combined with the beauty of Byodoin Temple, I would love to visit again.

I used it for lunch on a regular day. When I made a reservation the day before, I received a donut as a special bonus. (There are times when you don't get it.) It is located in the Ujihashi shopping street. The dough tasted good and the flavor of the ingredients came through, making it delicious. It's not as spicy as traditional pizza, so even children can eat it with peace of mind.

I finally got to visit the pizza place I've been curious about for a while! There were quite a few people who had made reservations even before the store opened. The salad and croquettes were ordinary, but the pizza was really delicious. The crust was fluffy, not too thick, with plenty of cheese and sauce. It was really tasty.

I'm using the "Uji shop support coupon" today, so it's Uji lunch again! The chosen restaurant is "Antica Pizzeria Radinello"! They are certified by the "True Neapolitan Pizza Association" and their unique number is '904'! I made a reservation for 12:00 and visited the restaurant. The ginger ale I ordered was good, but lacked carbonation. The octopus and celery salad was simple but had a nice acidic dressing. The cheese-filled potato croquettes were crispy on the outside and creamy on the inside. The pizza I ordered, "Lasinello," was topped with buffalo mozzarella, porchetta, zucchini paste, Grana Padano, basil, and oil. The staff at the restaurant were friendly and the daytime drinking was enjoyable. I was worried about being able to eat a whole pizza at a pizza place for the first time, but I was able to finish it all. The Margherita pizza was delicious and I will probably never eat it at the restaurant again, but it was a very memorable taste.

Delicious as always♡ The dough with a charcoal aroma is chewy, and even my daughter who doesn't like tomatoes requests the Margherita pizza here because she loves it. The buffalo mozzarella version is also delicious♡ The pasta croquettes are a favorite menu item for kids. The octopus salad is on the sour side, so it's a taste that people who like it will enjoy.

This pizza here is something I crave regularly and it never disappoints. The taste is always consistent and delicious. The prices keep going up though, and I always hope they won't go any higher! But the flavor is consistently good, and every pizza I try is delicious. Personally, I prefer the cheese base, and my favorite is probably the "Rieno Bianco" wrapped pizza. It's so delicious! It's a bit pricey at around ¥2000, but it's worth it for a special lunch treat. The volume is great, the pork inside is tasty, and the ricotta cheese is so creamy and delicious. I've seen some articles mentioning the customer service attitude, but I've never had any complaints. I love coming here to enjoy my favorite pizza and just focus on the taste. I don't get to come here often for regular meals, but I'll definitely visit again on some occasion. I've been curious about trying the "Rajinello" pizza for a while now!

In the tea town of Uji City, you can surprisingly enjoy authentic wood-fired pizza. The entrance is located in a store called Osaka-ya Market, which may make you wonder if this is the right place at first visit. Inside the kitchen, there is a splendid authentic stone oven. The pizza, as well as the prosciutto and salad, are delicious! I parked my car at a coin parking lot. Surprisingly, even though I was in Kyoto Uji, the entrance to a place called "Osaka-ya Market" is on the left side. It has a nostalgic atmosphere, like an old market maybe? There are many stylish shops lined up. I went to a restaurant that mainly serves pizza, with no pasta on the menu. They offer a free drink during weekday lunch, which was nice. I ordered the Marinara pizza, which was delicious. While I was taking a picture, the staff, who seemed to really love their pizza, scolded me to eat quickly. I like pizzas without cheese like this one. The crust was perfect. The Cornicione part was irresistible. I also tried the Santa Anastasia pizza, which had ingredients like mozzarella cheese, tomato, Napoli salami, and basil. Pizzas with lots of cheese like this one are always good. As a special reservation bonus, I got a donut made from pizza dough to take home, which was surprisingly good. I will definitely come back again.

After visiting Byodoin Temple in Uji, I stopped by here. It's located inside a commercial facility called Osaka-ya Market. It has a similar vibe to Ebisu Store, where shops are housed in old buildings, which seems to be a recent trend. It was lunchtime and the place was crowded with people. The pizza looked delicious, so I couldn't resist and made a dinner reservation on the spot (laughs). I ordered Caprese, Margherita, Posco, and a bottle of white wine. The Caprese looked different from what I usually have in Tokyo and was quite visually appealing. It was also tasty and filling. The standout was the Posco pizza, which was really delicious. It had five types of mushrooms, homemade smoked mozzarella, walnuts, and landland (backfat prosciutto). The thinly sliced prosciutto-like meat on top was amazing. The sprinkled walnuts powder added a nice touch. They generously loaded the toppings, which was great. It paired perfectly with the wine. I'll definitely visit again when I come back to Uji for sightseeing. The Napoli fried donuts, Graffa, that I got on my way out were also delicious when enjoyed back at the hotel. There were other interesting shops in Osaka-ya Store, and I was intrigued by the izakaya across the street. However, since it was a bit far from my hotel, I decided to head back (laughs).

Great cost performance! The taste and potions were excellent! The appearance of the assorted appetizers was amazing! We ordered four pizzas, but they were not all served at once. They were brought out one by one, allowing us to enjoy each one freshly made. We also had a bottle of white and red wine each, costing around 3000 yen, and finished with Limoncello. The service staff were friendly and attentive, making us want to visit again!

When I went to Ine last year, it was said to be the Venice of Japan, so if Kyoto is Rome then Uji would be Naples. I randomly stumbled upon a great restaurant after feeling down from Uji's Tanabata festival. @antica_pizzeria_lasinello had a slightly messy exterior which added to its Naples-like charm. The appetizer platter for two was huge for 3,000 yen, and the pizza was the best I've had in Kyoto so far! We spent 12,000 yen on food and drinks for two people. We went at night, but their lunch menu offers wine for just 300 yen, such a great deal. They even gave us lots of donuts as a souvenir. It's a nice place, similar to Daisa in Chume and Sicilia in Bashamichi. A new tourist route in Uji has been created - visiting world heritage sites and enjoying pizza.

I visited this pizzeria for lunch during my sightseeing in Uji. Among a row of matcha cafes and tea soba shops, I chose to dine at this pizzeria. Judging from the pizza oven, the atmosphere of the restaurant, and how crowded it was, I could tell that this was a great restaurant. With a wide variety of pizza options on the menu, we decided to skip appetizers and ordered only pizzas. There were four of us, and we ordered the following three pizzas. We also enjoyed some Italian beers. - Margherita with buffalo mozzarella: A classic choice that never disappoints. The dough was chewy, perfectly cooked, with a nice char. The buffalo mozzarella added depth and a hint of sweetness. - Bosco (mushrooms, smoked mozzarella, walnuts, lard): The homemade smoked mozzarella was incredibly delicious. - Radicchio (buffalo mozzarella, porchetta, zucchini paste, basil, etc.): The porchetta was meticulously made, and all the toppings were fresh and plentiful. Everyone's face lit up with joy as they reached for a freshly baked pizza. Pizza is always delicious, but enjoying it with friends during a trip made it even more special. I would love to visit this place again when I return to Uji. Thank you for the wonderful meal.
