I visited the restaurant on a weekday evening in March 2020, entering around 7:20 pm. About 70% of the seats on the first floor were occupied. I sat at an available seat and ordered the seasonal special, rich shrimp dipping noodles in medium size. After a short wait, the dish arrived. The glossy thick noodles were served in a dipping sauce with shrimp oil floating on top, topped with seaweed and shrimp powder. The noodles were delicious as always, with a good flavor and perfect texture. The dipping sauce was a tasty blend of fish, pork bone, and rich shrimp flavors. I dipped the noodles in the sauce and enjoyed the rich shrimp flavor spreading in my mouth. The noodles paired well with the sauce. After finishing the noodles, I added soup to the remaining sauce and finished it all deliciously. Thank you for the meal! It was very delicious today as well.

Last night, due to various circumstances, dinner was very late and I had Mita Seimenjo's tsukemen for the first time before the last train. The noodles were chewy, and the dipping broth was very delicious. I was very satisfied! By the way... ordering the regular size noodles was the right choice! Even the regular size was quite a lot!

I visited this restaurant to try their limited-time menu, the scorching hot spicy noodles. It turned out to be extremely spicy, so I recommend it for those who love spicy food! The noodles were firm, but I got a little tired of them after a while. The soup was also on the lighter side. Thank you for the meal!

Legendary Tsukemen with extra noodles, rice - 1400 yen. When I felt like going all out, this menu came to mind first, so let's go. As I ate, it felt more like a Tsukemen bowl with a punch of garlic in the oil noodles. Personally, I wished there was a bit more fried chicken, maybe 3 pieces would have been perfect with this size. I finished it but still felt a bit unsatisfied, so I added rice. I mixed everything in the ramen bowl and ate it like mixed rice. Maybe a special portion of noodles would have been nice too. The cost performance was not great, but I got to try an interesting collaboration dish. Thank you for the meal. #Kansai #KansaiFood #KansaiLunch #Osaka #OsakaFood #OsakaLunch #Namba #NambaFood #NambaLunch #Ramen #Tsukemen #ExtraLarge #SpecialLarge #SuperLarge #MitaSeimenjo

"I see, they used to serve this in the past." That's what I exclaimed when I found plum-based tsukemen at this restaurant on this day. It's common to see dishes using plums on the menu in early summer, but on this day in late May, I was surprised to find a menu with plum at this particular restaurant. The dish I ordered at 'Mita Seimenjo' was the Plum Tsukemen. It was my first time seeing it, but apparently, it's a limited-time menu that they brought back after 5 years since 2018. The dish consists of the same rich and creamy tonkotsu and seafood broth as their signature tsukemen, with a special plum sauce added, along with shiso leaves and shiso seeds. Unlike other tsukemen shops where the dipping sauce is thick, which may be too heavy for older people or those with a decreased appetite, this Plum Tsukemen had a refreshing acidity from the plums, shiso leaves, and shiso seeds after the rich umami flavor, making it not too heavy overall. The taste was unique, with a refreshing twist compared to their regular menu item, the 'Light Sea Bream Dashi Salt Tsukemen'. The Plum Tsukemen is available until the end of June. As we approach the rainy season, for those who enjoy tsukemen or are interested in trying a dish with a different twist using plums, I recommend considering this dish.

Mita Seimenjo Namba Store [2 Chome, Sennichimae, Chuo-ku, Osaka] Mita Seimenjo, with its headquarters in Tokyo, has multiple stores in Kanto and Osaka. The name "Seimenjo" indicates their confidence in their noodle-making skills. The location is great and the store is quite busy. I had the dipping noodles (small size for 850 yen, additional flavored egg for 100 yen). The noodles were chewy and flavorful, making me want to keep eating. The fish powder in the dipping sauce added a nice touch. I could eat here every day. The first floor has mainly counter seats, with additional seating on the second floor. The prices are the same regardless of size, which is convenient. Payment is made after the meal and cash only. It's easy for solo diners to come in. [Business Hours] 10:00-24:00 [Closed] Open daily

Mita Seimenjo's super-sized 1kg ramen for ¥1100 was my first time trying it. The soup refill was about one-third of a normal dipping sauce dish, and the 400g Jiro-style ramen was a bit tough. It's frustrating that you can't get the soup reheated. I like the garlic and shichimi for flavoring. The bonito salt is also good. Even though they don't put vinegar in, I think it's fine. The flavored egg was delicious, so I want to add it next time. The oil noodles are also good, but I want to try the spicy tsukemen next time. Well, Mita Seimenjo is pretty good at everything, so it's worth a try.

It seems like they had a gratitude festival after 4 years! The normally 880 yen rich pork bone and seafood dipping noodles were only 500 yen including tax. And you know what? At this restaurant, you can choose between regular (320g), medium (450g), or large (580g) portion for the same price!! I went for the medium size, just to feel like I got a good deal. The noodles were quite thick (about 0.3mm in diameter) and had a chewy texture. The dipping sauce came with three 2cm cubes of chashu and three substantial pieces of menma. The seaweed added a nice touch! Since I'm not a fan of cold noodles, the dipping sauce cooled down quickly. In the end, I asked for some soup to mix with the sauce, which gave it a different flavor. It was consistently delicious! And to top it off, they even gave me a coupon for a free "Mita Mori" (300 yen value) for my next visit at the time of payment! The gratitude festival was beyond amazing!

Mita Seimenjo Namba Branch @ Namba / Tsukemen
For dinner on this day, I went to Mita Seimen again to have tsukemen, as I felt a bit unsatisfied with the regular size I had yesterday. The restaurant was bustling with customers due to a special offer where the tsukemen was priced at 500 yen. Since the regular size was 500 yen until this day, I added an extra 100 yen for a special large size. After a short wait, the dish was served. The soup was a slightly thick tonkotsu broth with seafood, a typical rich and savory flavor. The noodles were medium thickness and had a smooth texture, coating well with the soup and providing a satisfying chewiness. The special large size portion had a hearty feeling, which I enjoyed. The chashu pork in the dipping sauce was tender and tasty. Of course, I finished the meal by mixing the remaining soup with water. The 500 yen appreciation festival offer for tsukemen was great, but I would personally prefer paying more for a larger portion. Oh, I forgot about the boiled fish – I'll have to try that next time.

Mita Seimenjo Namba Store @ Namba / Tsukemen
On this day, I had some errands to run in the Namba area, so I was wandering around. I got caught up in various things and before I knew it, it was already past lunchtime. Even though it's Namba, it was difficult to find a place to eat. Just then, I saw an advertisement. It seemed that Mita Seimenjo was having a gratitude festival (now ended), so I decided to go to the nearby Mita Seimenjo. Even though it was past lunchtime, the restaurant was crowded with customers, probably due to the festival. I was seated and handed the menu. Hmm, today they are offering tsukemen for 500 yen, and you can even get a large serving for the same price. It seems like you can also get an extra-large serving for an additional 100 yen, but considering my current appetite, a large serving should be enough. I ordered the tsukemen in a large serving and waited a bit for it to be served. The visual presentation was nothing new, as I have seen it many times before. The soup was a slightly thick tonkotsu broth with seafood, a typical Mita Seimenjo style. It's a common flavor, but I personally like it. Oh! Compared to the Umeda store I visited the other day, the soup at the Namba store is indeed richer. This must be the taste of Mita Seimenjo. My impression from the Umeda store wasn't wrong after all. The noodles were medium-thick and had a smooth texture, coating well with the soup and providing a satisfying chew. The chashu in the dipping sauce was tender and not bad. Of course, I finished with a soup refill. Today's meal was consistently delicious.

This is a restaurant that my grandparents had been recommending for a while, and I went there with them. The noodles can be increased for free up to a medium size (450g) and large size (580g), so many students were also visiting because of the generous portions. The soup had a rich flavor, and the sprinkled seafood powder on top added a nice aroma that complemented the noodles well, creating a great balance overall. The dipping noodles can sometimes get boring towards the end, but the seafood powder on the soup in this restaurant enhanced the flavor, so I enjoyed it until the last bite without getting tired of it!

My hobby is food exploring. A junior colleague at work asked me if I ever go to Mita Seimenjo. I replied that I do go there, and they asked when do I usually go. I explained that I go there when I want to eat a lot of noodles because they offer free extra large servings, which is great. I ordered the tsukemen extra large (580g) for 880 yen (tax included). The amount of noodles is not that much considering it's an extra large serving. I like to eat here for a reasonable price, so I always order the regular size without any additional toppings. The tsukemen here is delicious. They boil the noodles carefully one by one after taking the order. This time, it was my final meal after having multiple lunches. It was a satisfying dinner. The junior colleague finds it unbelievable that I would pay for train fare just to go out to eat, while I find it unbelievable that they would go on far trips just to play pachinko. However, I can somewhat understand both perspectives.
Note: Mita Seimenjo is a restaurant known for offering free extra large servings of noodles. Tsukemen is a type of noodle dish where you dip the noodles in a separate bowl of soup before eating.

Located near Nankai Namba Station, in the Minami Chitose Shopping Street, is a ramen specialty shop. The original shop is in Mita, Tokyo, with over 20 branches in Tokyo, but there are few branches in Osaka. The interior of the shop is long and narrow, with counter seats lined up side by side. I casually walked in alone before noon and ordered the spicy tsukemen with a small portion of noodles (¥980). You can choose between hot or cold noodles, and this time I chose cold noodles. The soup is a pork and seafood broth with added chili oil. There is a quite large piece of chashu in the soup. After finishing the noodles, I also got a side of extra soup and enjoyed it.

Super Jumbo Tsukemen for 1,100 yen. I ordered the Super Jumbo size that I saw last time. The noodles were three times the regular size, weighing about 1kg. The presentation of the noodles was beautiful, which got me even more excited before eating. The volume was quite substantial, overflowing from the ramen bowl. It was nice that you could get one refill of the dipping sauce. However, you couldn't get a refill of the soup, so it lacked a bit of punch (I wonder if they would have added it if I asked?). For those who feel like they can handle it, I recommend trying the Super Jumbo size. It's a limited edition, but I hope they make it a regular menu item. Thank you for the meal.

On this day, I was in Namba and decided to eat something before heading home, so I was wandering around Namba City looking for a place to eat quickly. I happened to come across Mita Seimenjo, which was empty, so I decided to go in. I found it a bit troublesome to use the touch panel, so I called a staff member over and placed my order verbally. I ordered the Tonkotsu ramen set. It arrived shortly after. The noodles were thick and the dipping soup was rich with a sprinkling of seafood powder on top. I wish they had mixed the powder in with the soup before serving it. Although this was my first time trying dipping noodles, I still prefer hot ramen with soup. This is just my personal preference though. Thank you for the meal.

Mita Seimenjo's Tai Dashi Shio Tsukemen (large) has no fishy smell and you can clearly taste the flavor of the sea bream. The cold dipping broth with seaweed and yuzu aroma blends well, and the chewy thick noodles are easy to slurp up. Delicious. However, I was a little bothered by the fact that the dipping broth was very cold while the noodles were not as cold. Nonetheless, I was very satisfied after a long time.

I had the Mita-sized Tsukemen with extra rice for 870 yen (with a coupon discount). I usually go to the Umeda branch, but this was my first time at the Namba branch. I noticed they have some menu items that are exclusive to this location. I prefer the regular Tsukemen here. Today, I didn't want a heavy meal so I just got the regular size with extra rice. After finishing the noodles, I added the rice into the remaining dipping sauce. The rice soaked up the flavor and was delicious. I had a coupon on the app, so the Mita-sized portion was complimentary. It's worth installing the app for these discounts. Thank you for the meal.

Mita Seimenjo Namba Store @ Namba / Garlic Oil Soba (with extra vegetables and meat)
The other day, I went to Namba to have ramen since my wife and I had different plans for the evening. Since Jousan was already closed, I decided to go to Mita Seimenjo for the first time in a while. I had seen their oil soba on a YouTube channel and found out that they also offer it at the Namba store, so I headed there right away. Even though it was late at night, the restaurant was almost full. I already knew what I wanted to order - the Garlic Oil Soba with extra vegetables and meat in a large size. After a short wait, the dish was served. It looked a bit smaller than I had seen in the video, but let's focus on the taste. The sauce was a thick soy sauce with a hint of soup. Despite being called oil soba, it didn't feel too heavy. The garlic added a nice touch of junk food vibe. The noodles were thick and had a chewy texture, providing a satisfying bite that mixed well with the sauce. The vegetables were on the softer side, which I personally like. The meat was more like shredded meat, blending well with the noodles. There was a bit of leftover sauce and toppings, so I added some rice at the end. I thought there might be more in terms of quantity, but it was still enjoyable. Overall, I didn't dislike it at all.

Shrimp tsukemen (small size) with Mita Mori for 900 yen. It's been a while since I've been in Osaka. The Mita Mori was free with a coupon. It was served cold, not hot. It took about 12 minutes to be served. It's the usual Mita Seimen, still good. The taste was as good as always. I feel like eating it regularly.

The meat and green onion rice set is 1090 yen, and there are 5 pieces of chicken karaage for 480 yen. The thick straight noodles are a bit rough on the tongue when dipped in the thick, heavy broth. The rich broth of seafood and pork bones coats the chewy noodles, allowing you to slurp it all down in one go and savor the indulgent taste. If there were fried chicken and rice included, it would be a one-way ticket to becoming a fatty. Thank you for your continued support. ----------------------------------------------- Instagram: onikumagrm
