The hormone set was disappointing as there were only about 4 pieces per person, with 90% of the iron pot filled with vegetables. The amount of hormone was insufficient. It was very different from the image on the menu, which seemed to be calculated for about 3 servings, making it more expensive than pork shoulder. It would have been better if there was a prior explanation and the option to add extra dishes. The free drink service was a nice touch. The meat was very fresh and delicious, including the additional meat. However, the spicy miso was too spicy and did not fully bring out the flavors of the ingredients, which was a shame. The natural water coffee was delicious, and if you choose other menu items, you may be more satisfied.

This is Michi-no-Eki Meisui no Sato Kyogoku. This town of Kyogoku seems to be famous for its spring water nationwide. The water I saw here was indeed very beautiful and wonderful. I recommend starting with a stroll around the area! After the walk, head straight to the Michi-no-Eki. Here at this Michi-no-Eki, you can actually taste the water. It's ice-cold and refreshing, especially with the recent heat. The coffee made with this water must be delicious. I couldn't resist trying it. I ordered an iced coffee made with this water. It had a clear bitterness for a cold brew, with a mature taste. The aftertaste was refreshing. It's really amazing how cold it is. Even in Hokkaido, it's been getting hot lately. How about replenishing your fluids as a precaution against heatstroke? Thank you for the meal.

The "Meisui Coffee" made using the bubbling water from the Yubari River is refreshing yet aromatic, making it a favorite among packaged coffees. On this day, I went on my first drive around Mount Yubari. Despite the heavy snow in Kyogoku, the roads were easy to drive on. I sipped on coffee to quench my thirst while heading towards the soba restaurant I was looking forward to.

Just the mention of natural spring water already gets me excited (^ー^) I have a sensitive stomach and shouldn't drink too much coffee, but I tried it sweetened this time. It tasted even better because it was so hot outside! The spring water was so cold and delicious! The place has a large area and a playground for kids! I really love it here! So, I bought some coffee jelly to take home with me (^ー^)

I heard that lunch during the trip to Niseko would be Genghis Khan at Kyogoku, so I thought it was a unique building for Genghis Khan, but it turned out to be Genghis Khan at the restaurant in the Michi no Eki. It was great that we could make a reservation and even a large group could start eating right away. I think it was probably the thick-cut Genghis Khan set for groups. The pork shoulder meat was tender and delicious, very delicious, and there were plenty of vegetables, and even a drink bar was included. It's just so delicious when you eat it with everyone.

I visited the "Fukidashi Park" in Kyogoku Town, where there is now a new roadside station. The spring water from Mount Yotei is clear and beautiful, and I found it very soothing to gaze at. I bought coffee jelly and iced coffee from the shop inside the roadside station. The iced coffee was easy to drink with no bitterness, and the coffee jelly was delicious especially when topped with whipped cream. They offer various types like mild and cafe latte, so I would like to buy some as souvenirs next time I visit. Thank you, "Roadside Station Kyogoku"!

On the way from Otaru towards Lake Toya where my accommodation for the night is located, I passed by a mountain called Mount Yotei (Ezo Fuji) that looks just like Mount Fuji on my right. As I headed south, I noticed a sign for this roadside station, so I decided to stop for a break, including using the restroom. Despite being called a roadside station, the area was incredibly spacious with vibrant green grass and a stunning view of Mount Yotei across the lake. I was feeling a bit hungry, so I bought a croquette from the shop. Oh, and right next to it, I spotted a squirrel on a tree trunk - amazing! Just as I purchased the croquette, I headed back to the lakeside and enjoyed it while gazing at Mount Yotei. The "Corn Croquette" was not just your typical store-bought croquette; it had a unique taste to it. The potatoes were fluffy, and the corn kernels were large and plentiful. It was delicious! Hokkaido never disappoints when it comes to food. The "Corn Croquette" against the backdrop of Mount Yotei was absolutely delightful.

On the third Sunday of April, we continued our journey to the next stop, Kyougoku, at the Michi-no-Eki Minamino-mura. This was our second Michi-no-Eki stop for the day, following the Michi-no-Eki Makari Flower Center. We arrived at around 11:20 AM. Since we had eaten a hearty breakfast, we weren't feeling very hungry yet. We decided to take a break and explore the area with our dogs. Before heading back to the car, we were lucky to encounter a wild Ezorisu (probably) and managed to capture some photos. After a leisurely walk with our dogs, we visited the Namimizu Plaza. Although we considered having lunch there, we weren't quite hungry yet. We explored the souvenir shop and purchased some dried shiitake mushrooms and wasabi-flavored snacks. We also came across some unique pottery items and decided to buy a quirky figurine as a souvenir. Overall, our shopping experience at Namimizu Plaza was not very exciting, but we enjoyed exploring the area and capturing memories of our trip.

Kyogoku Road Station is a popular stop where you can draw water from the famous spring water. Next to the station facilities, there is a bridge leading to a park where the water area is refreshing in the summer. The station itself is a typical roadside station with a restaurant and a shop, but the highlight is the "Kyogoku spring water" that you can freely enjoy. The water is truly delicious and refreshing, with a soft quality that feels great going down. One of the must-try items at this station is the "spring water coffee" sold at the shop. Made with Kyogoku's spring water, this ice coffee is a treat that you can also find in other shops selling Hokkaido specialties. The regular version has a balanced bitterness and a clear coffee taste with a nice aroma. The clear version is even more refreshing, perfect for enjoying with plenty of ice on a hot summer day. Both versions have a good depth of flavor that makes them truly delicious. If you come across them, be sure to give them a try!

I stopped by for a stamp rally on Sunday, August 28, 2016. I filled up on the refreshing negative ions and spring water. I filled my 4-liter bottle with the spring water, but they also sell bottles specifically for filling up with the water. Some people were using carts to fill up large 18-liter tanks. I wonder if it's for food and drinks? The spring water coffee was labeled as using water from the sheep hoof spring. I thought about trying it. It had a hint of sweetness from non-calorie sugar, with zero calories. It was easy to drink. Thank you for the meal.

The roadside station adjacent to the famous "Fukidashi Park," where you can freely draw water from the spring water selected as one of the top 100 famous waters, is visited by locals and tourists alike. They sell products made from the spring water of Mount Yotei, such as ice coffee and coffee jelly. You can also purchase mineral water, alcohol, and a 10-liter tank to draw water. All menu items at the restaurant are made using water from Mount Yotei. On this visit, I drew water as usual and purchased spring water products at the roadside station: 1. Poly tank for 940 yen, 2. Name Water Coffee (unsweetened) 1 liter for 540 yen, 3. Coffee jelly for 160 yen. The poly tank is a bit pricey, so if you're just drawing water, you can get it cheaper at a home center. The Name Water Coffee was rich and flavorful, very delicious. The coffee jelly, with milk served separately, had a strong coffee flavor.

In June 2016, I visited Kyougoku, a roadside station called Meisui no Sato Kyougoku located along the Route 478 Kyougoku Kutchan Line at the foot of Mt. Yotei. Kyougoku is known as a leading area for famous spring water production in Hokkaido, and within the Kyougoku Fukidashi Park where this roadside station is located, there is a spring water source. I tried the Lamb Stamina Bowl for ¥990. The dish consisted of thick slices of lamb cooked in a sweet ginger sauce, served on rice with cabbage, carrots, and bean sprouts. It also came with a side of bean sprout namul and miso soup. The lamb was not tough, but had a slightly unique flavor. However, the dish overall was a bit watery and the sauce seemed diluted. The vegetables lacked freshness and the dish did not meet expectations. I hope the restaurant can reconsider their menu and focus on using delicious local produce to create more appealing dishes for visitors.

Coffee jelly seems to be a popular choice here. They offer it in sets or in bulk. I didn't have much time to look around, so I ended up buying some individually. I'm not a big coffee drinker, so the taste was just okay for me. But my family, who also doesn't drink coffee much, actually preferred the three-in-one coffee jelly we bought. I'll take more time to explore next time.

Today in March 2016, after enjoying the hot springs in Niseko and Yuki Chichibu, we visited this place. I bought some famous spring water coffee here. I love their iced coffee. You can also find it in 1-liter bottles at Toko Supermarket. The Okhotsk salted potato chips were quite different from what I imagined. They were more like fried rice crackers than actual potato chips. Unfortunately, they were sold out of tofu. I came here with my father and son, but my father was quite annoyed. We haven't spent much time together recently, so it was a rare family drive, but it was still tough. My son and I pretended to sleep on the way back. ✿ฺ(๑´ڡ`๑)✿ฺ.

Welcome! In September 2015, at the entrance of the Kyogoku-cho Michi no Eki "Meisui no Sato," there is a building with a restaurant in the back and a shop on the right. When it comes to Kyogoku, the famous Meisui Koshi spring water is well-known, and the nearby Sekoma factory also produces PB brand water from Kyogoku. It's delicious, following Volvic. When you visit Kyogoku, you can't help but buy Meisui Koshi water. You can tell by the color that it has a rich taste, softened by the spring water. Meisui Koshi jelly has a bittersweetness and astringency that is truly a taste for adults. Recommended for those who love Meisui Koshi. The food in the back is also good, not exquisite, but still delicious. Thank you for the meal.

I stopped by the Michi-no-Eki at Kyōgoku. Later, I found out that Subaru-san's family had also visited on the same day. It was quite crowded, so we probably wouldn't have been able to meet, but it would have been nice if we did. When I visited before, I didn't climb up to the observation deck, but this time I decided to give it a try. Climbing up was tiring, and the view from the top was disappointing. There wasn't anything good about the scenery. There were tables and chairs made of wood at the top, and even though there was no one around, there was a plastic cup with leftover cigarette butts inside. It made me angry. Climbing down was difficult, and walking along the spring water was getting harder as well. I drank some water like a child, getting my shoes wet in the process. The Michi-no-Eki itself was uninteresting, with nothing special about it. I bought a cafe chocolate jelly, even though I don't really like jelly. I prefer coffee, but strangely I ended up getting a cafe chocolate jelly, which I found to be not very tasty. I could still eat it, but my wife immediately said it wasn't delicious. Would I buy it again? Of course not.
