When I went shopping at the mall without eating anything since morning, I discovered this restaurant and decided to visit it. It must have been at least 5 years since I last visited this type of restaurant. I was guided by a friendly staff and got excited as I sat down. The style is to choose your own ingredients, fry them, and eat. It was fun! The skewers were long enough to avoid burning oneself, and the ingredients were relatively small so they cooked quickly. I tried everything, but personally, I liked the mushrooms and chicken the most. Everything was delicious, but I was disappointed that they didn't have eggplant today. I really wanted to try it. They had a variety of dipping sauces, but I found that basic salt and sauce went well with everything. Overall, it was a long time since I visited such a restaurant, and it was really enjoyable. They even offer all-you-can-eat sweets without the need for a drink bar, which I think is a good deal. Also, you can freely enjoy curry rice, and the glossy Akita Komachi rice looked quite delicious. I think this kind of restaurant is really fun once in a while. I can't go there often, but I definitely want to visit again soon. Thank you for the meal.

Today I spent some quality time with my family. In the evening, we went to Kushi Katsu Tabehoudai Kushi Maru at Aeon Mall Sakai Tepocho. I had been curious about their all-you-can-eat option for a while. The restaurant is located on the first floor. In addition to kushi katsu, they also offered all-you-can-eat salad. You get to choose your own ingredients, coat them in batter, and fry them yourself. It was surprisingly easy to fry and the result was crispy and delicious. And all of this for just 2,138 yen per person, what a great deal!

Located in the restaurant area on the first floor. I used it for dinner as they offer all-you-can-eat skewers. It costs 1980 yen and you can enjoy around 20 different types of skewers. There were many varieties of seafood, meat, and vegetables. Lunch is a bit cheaper at 1580 yen. The drink bar is only 200 yen, which is reasonable. Fried foods can make you quite thirsty. Many families were there, and it's fun to fry the skewers yourself while enjoying them!

Today, my family went shopping at the Aeon Mall in Tepco-cho. For dinner, we decided to try out this restaurant called "Kushi Maru," which offers all-you-can-eat kushikatsu. There was a long line when we arrived at dinner time. I was familiar with similar restaurants, but this was my first time here. It seems to be operated by a company based in Kansai, with two other locations in Osaka and one in Kyoto besides this one in Tepco-cho. The variety of kushikatsu was great and perfect for enjoying with the whole family. With a 120-minute time limit, you can definitely eat your fill. Alcohol is charged separately, but overall, it's a good place to go with the family. I was so focused on frying my own kushikatsu that I forgot to take photos, which is a shame. I'll make sure to take some next time. Thank you for the meal.

On February 11, 2017, I went to a restaurant that offers all-you-can-eat kushikatsu for 1,980 yen and all-you-can-drink for 1,300 yen.

All-you-can-eat, but 70 minutes is not enough, as there is frying time needed!

Children seem to really enjoy being able to pick their own favorite items and fry them themselves. Adults may feel like it's fun, so why not. While the ingredients for kushikatsu are limited, side dishes like curry, ramen, mapo tofu, soft-serve ice cream that you can roll yourself, homemade shaved ice, can all bring back a sense of childhood joy.

I usually go to Shinsekai for kushikatsu, but this time I wanted to eat kushikatsu stress-free without worrying about anything, so I visited this restaurant. The all-you-can-eat kushikatsu places usually have the same types of sauce and skewers, but this place had a decent variety. The portions were small, but they replenished the skewers quickly, so I liked that. They also had side menu items like curry, ramen, and ochazuke, but I was so focused on eating kushikatsu that I didn't try any of them. I finished with some shaved ice. Next time, I definitely want to try the side menu and dessert too.

On weekdays, it's 200 yen cheaper than on weekends, so it's a good deal at 1280 yen. I had been wanting to come here, so I finally did. As soon as I walked in, I spotted shrimp and small scallops. That got me excited. There were also chicken, pork, vegetables, and more lined up, in addition to skewers. They also had curry, ochazuke, Japanese side dishes, pasta, tteokbokki, mapo tofu, ramen, desserts, and more. There were many types of sauces available, so you won't get tired of eating. The shrimp and pork were so delicious that I went back for more multiple times. The restaurant was clean, and the oil seemed fresh. I will definitely come back.

The all-you-can-drink soft drink and kushikatsu on Saturdays cost ¥1,580 for 70 minutes. The kushikatsu pieces were bite-sized, but it's a shame they didn't have beef kushikatsu, which is a classic. I think I ate around 25 pieces. They also had soft serve ice cream, pasta, ochazuke, and more, so I left satisfied. Thank you for the meal!❣️

After work, I had a great time eating with my colleagues at a restaurant near the office. We went to a place called "Kushi Maru" in the Aeon mall for all-you-can-eat kushikatsu. It was my first time trying it and I was excited. The system was 100 minutes for 2138 yen on a Friday dinner (considered a weekday) plus a drink bar for 216 yen. Each table had oil for self-frying, and there were many different types of skewers to choose from, including some unique ones like apple. The portions were quite small, more like bite-sized snacks, but the ingredients were fresh and tasty. However, I felt like I could keep eating forever, and the amount of oil was a bit overwhelming. Despite that, my stomach did get full eventually. They also had a good selection of side dishes, but overall, I felt that the quality was a bit lower compared to traditional kushikatsu restaurants. It was fun to fry our own skewers and chat with friends, so I would recommend it for a first visit. But for a second time... I'm not so sure. Thank you for the meal.

This place is similar to another restaurant I know! I couldn't help but compare the two (laughs). There was a bit of a line at the end of the year! Basically, you fry your own ingredients at your table! It's fun for families and couples alike! There are plenty of ingredients to choose from, which is interesting! The vegetable salad and side dishes were delicious and refreshing! It was enjoyable♪( ´▽`) I would like to go again!

Head to Kushimaru inside the Aeon Mall in Teppomachi. It's a popular restaurant that is becoming a staple in malls these days, offering all-you-can-eat self-fried kushikatsu. The buffet includes a variety of kushikatsu, a few side dishes, and dessert, but does not include a drink bar. You can choose from about 20 different types of kushikatsu ingredients, coat them in batter and breadcrumbs, and fry them yourself. The ingredients are cut into small pieces, so they cook quickly. You can season your kushikatsu with a selection of about 10 condiments like salt, mayonnaise, and ketchup. The side dishes include a salad bar, curry, miso soup, rice, three main dishes, and somen noodles. The main dishes were not replenished much after 8 pm. The availability of items may vary depending on the time of entry. The kushikatsu items were consistently restocked, so there were no empty plates throughout the meal. The fried kushikatsu is light and you can eat as much as you want. The meat and seafood options were clean without any grease, which is a plus for all-you-can-eat restaurants. The self-frying allows you to enjoy hot kushikatsu at your own pace, making this type of restaurant enjoyable. For dessert, there are about six options including soft serve ice cream. It's a great place to enjoy a meal while having a conversation.

Today, I visited the Aeon Mall in Sakai Teppo-cho. The purpose was at the request of my second son to go to "Kushi Maru". I am looking forward to comparing it with "Kushiyaki...". It was a Saturday, but there was no wait, we were seated right away. I wonder if the people in Sakai don't mind spending 1980 yen for lunch. The seating area is similar to "Kushi..." as well. Since it was newly opened, the interior of the restaurant is clean. My son opted for the drink bar, while I just had water. Now, time to go pick some skewers. The beef and pork skewers here are clearly better. The meat is large and beautiful. My son was disappointed that the chicken skewers were made with breast meat. There are creative options like quail eggs and enoki mushroom wrapped in pork. The vegetables are also fresh and beautiful. Let's try the fried skewers. Hmm, the characteristic is that they are fried to a white color. The taste is light. There are about 8 types of sauces like sweet, spicy, miso, ketchup, mayonnaise, and ponzu. I personally liked the sweet and miso sauces. They also have desserts, just like other restaurants. Finally, we ended with soft serve ice cream. It's a bit pricey, but the quality of the ingredients made us satisfied.
