A new yakiniku restaurant specializing in Saga Imari beef has opened in Daimyo, Chuo-ku, Fukuoka City. Located on the second floor of a building, it may be a bit tricky to find the entrance to go upstairs. The restaurant offers a counter-only seating arrangement. For drinks, they serve Kirin Ichiban Shibori draft beer and a serious cola. Their unique feature is adding lemon to the glass, which enhances the flavor. The menu includes salted beef tongue for 780 yen, premium wagyu upper ribs for 980 yen, wagyu skirt for 580 yen, and wagyu rump for 1080 yen. Despite being reasonably priced, all the meat is tender and of high quality. The owner is dedicated to serving top-notch meat. As a service, we also received toro meat sushi. The side menu includes chicken bone and egg drop soup for 380 yen, which has a rich chicken bone broth flavor that you can't get from store-bought products. The mini stone bibimbap for 580 yen is topped with egg yolk, namul, and kimchi, and a special sauce is added just before eating. The perfectly crispy burnt rice at the bottom of the bibimbap is outstanding. The pho with beef bone soup for 880 yen also stands out with its perfect beef tongue soup. Everything is top-notch and delicious, yet reasonably priced. Undoubtedly, this restaurant offers a higher level of quality compared to nearby yakiniku restaurants. It is highly recommended.

A stylish yakiniku restaurant with a straw grilling station where they cook in front of you, making it very Instagram-worthy. They seem to focus on rare cuts of Japanese beef like turtle meat, heart meat, lamb kidney, and more. It's a hidden gem on the second floor in Daimyo, with a clean and cozy atmosphere, so you can enjoy yakiniku without too much smoke. It might be worth a visit if you want to try something different.
