A guest from overseas requested to visit this shop. It's a shop that I, born and raised in Osaka, didn't even know about. It seems to be buzzing on social media, with many customers coming from overseas. The Toro Taku is definitely popular. The master and the staff are all very nice, creating a wonderful atmosphere in the shop.

Sushi Nakamise is a small restaurant with only 8 seats at the counter. They serve delicious beer shrimp, green onions seasoned with sauce, red miso soup with fish, tasty iwashi with ginger, tamago, ikura, hirame, and negitoro rolls. Everything is carefully prepared, and the atmosphere created by the owner and the hostess is very pleasant.

Visited with my family of two. When we opened the sliding door, we were greeted by a counter up close. It was our first visit, so we were unsure about the menu. Following the orders of what seemed to be regular customers, we ordered a sashimi assortment, grilled scallops, and the Toro Tekkamaki that we had decided on before coming. We also ordered horse mackerel. The sashimi slices were huge! The scallops were sweet! The octopus was delicious too! The Toro Tekkamaki was almost all Toro and melted in my mouth, so tasty! The Toro was so good that we added some nigiri, which were like having a Toro blanket on top, also delicious! We got carried away and ordered live spot prawns, conger eel, sea eel, salmon roe, pickled vegetables, and red miso soup, and ended up getting really full. My family, who are now regretting not being able to go again, want to go together next time.

Nakamise-san. I visited this place after seeing it on Instagram and I was lucky to get a reservation on my desired date. The sushi pieces were all generously sized. I also ordered the Toro Taku that I saw on Instagram, and it was exactly like the photo, which got me really excited. The taste was great and it's definitely a sushi restaurant with the best value for money. I would love to visit again if I have the chance.

Reservation required, so I booked three months in advance and arrived at 5:00 pm! The only previous customers were a couple managing the counter. We started with a draft beer and a sashimi platter, which looked beautiful. Is sashimi supposed to sparkle like this? It was delicious, both to the eyes and the taste buds. Next, we had pressed sushi with horse mackerel, sardine, squid, and yellowtail. Is sushi supposed to be this delicious? The squid had a firm texture, the yellowtail was sweet, and the knife work was precise. The highlight was the Toro-Takuan dish, overflowing with flavor. The combination of fatty tuna, pickled daikon radish, and the balance of sweetness and acidity was amazing. We also enjoyed some sake. We savored every bite, even for the customers who were turned away for not having a reservation. The total bill for two people was 10,000 yen, and we spent an hour and a half there. Thank you for the wonderful meal!

Happy New Year 2023! Today, we had a small New Year's party with the rowdy boss from Temma and the lively girls from Uwajami in Higashi Osaka. We were lucky to get a reservation at the popular spot, the original "Hamidasu Tekkamaki" restaurant, Nakamise at Ohatsu Tenjin. It's a favorite spot for the rowdy boss. It's been a while since we visited Nakamise. We enjoyed shirako, fresh oysters, winter yellowtail, Hokkaido scallops, sea urchin, ark shell, button shrimp, medium fatty tuna, grilled conger eel, and the overflowing fatty tuna tekka maki. We had hot sake today. The chef always has great stories to tell. The Niigata winter yellowtail was delicious. The Hokkaido scallops and button shrimp were also great. The oysters are from Akkeshi, right? The delicious food paired perfectly with the sake. The overflowing fatty tuna tekka maki was the best. "Hey boss, where should we go next?" (Here we go again) (I'm ready this time) We'll finish with Hegisoba, but first, let's have some hormone. Yay, hormone! Even I wonder if we can work tomorrow (laughs). It was delicious at Nakamise after a long time. Thank you for the feast! ❤️

I finally got a reservation at a sushi restaurant in Osaka that I've been wanting to try for a long time. There are only 8 seats at the counter, so reservations are a must. I ordered the famous fatty tuna and seared fatty tuna, of course. The actual sushi looked impressive with generous portions of fish that melted in my mouth. I wish I could have tried more sushi dishes. I'll definitely go back if I have the chance!

Nakamise, located in a back alley, has a great atmosphere. Their famous dish, Toro Tekka, is indeed delicious. A husband and wife run the place, and both the chef and his wife are lovely people. In addition to Toro Tekka, I highly recommend trying the Negitoro. The Toro Tekka costs 1350 yen, while the Negitoro costs 1200 yen. Unfortunately, my favorite Kanpachi and Kanburi were already sold out, but the Maguro was fresh and beautiful. The squid for 500 yen and the squid for 400 yen were also good choices. Overall, it's a nice place to have a quick meal and head home. I look forward to stopping by again. Thank you for the meal!

"Nakamise" Good morning, it's Taiki. Visiting a nostalgic shop after several years. At the time, I was a fourth-year university student (22 years old) and had just finished a teacher recruitment exam. A senior friend said, "You worked hard on the exam! Let me treat you to something," and took me to this shop called "Nakamise." It's located a 5-minute walk from Osaka Station, near Ohatsu Tenjin Shrine. The situation: Visiting with friends during business hours on weekdays (4:00 PM - 10:30 PM) and on Sundays/holidays (3:00 PM - 9:30 PM). Closed on Tuesdays. This shop is one of my favorites, and I used to visit it every time I had the chance. The fatty tuna sushi here is so delicious that it has caught the attention of Instagrammers, causing regular customers to have difficulty getting a table. I was one of those customers. The owner always looked apologetic, saying, "I'm sorry." It's not the owner's fault (;^ω^) I also had a memory of drinking with that senior friend in Umeda. So, this time, I decided to visit this shop again. "If you can wait a moment, I think we can seat you!" I'll wait, of course. The menu is posted on the third image, and everything you order here is delicious. Although it's not conveyor belt sushi, you can eat each piece for an average of 400 yen. Each piece is so satisfying that even with two people, the bill is usually around 8000 yen (which is surprisingly cheap). When you visit this shop, you must try the "fatty tuna sushi." I still remember when an old man who was a doctor sitting next to me treated me to it. "I passed the exam!" I wanted to tell him, but I've already quit that job (;'∀') The consistent deliciousness this time was truly a blessing. Living and enjoying good food is wonderful. After that, feel free to order based on your preferences. I recommend everything on the menu. I posted this because I've known about this shop since before it moved to its current location. But my true feelings are that I don't want people to visit just because it looks good or because the post seems popular. I really want people who love eating to visit this place from the bottom of my heart. This was an introduction to a memorable shop! This post may not get much attention, but that's okay, haha. It was a self-satisfying restaurant introduction (*'∀') See you again! ✊ Cost: 3000-5000 yen. #OsakaGourmet #OsakaSushi #OsakaDinner #OsakaTourism #UmedaGourmet #UmedaSushi #UmedaDinner #Nakamise #HigashiUmedaGourmet #OhatsuTenjinGourmet

On this day, I decided to have dinner at this sushi restaurant that I had been wanting to visit for a while. I had been turned down for a reservation before, but this time I was able to make a reservation a week in advance to coincide with my return to Osaka on this day. The restaurant has a small counter with 8 seats, making it difficult to get a reservation. First, let's quench our thirst with a glass of draft beer. The large glass is a nice touch. For the food, we had a sashimi platter, two pieces of amberjack, two pieces of mackerel, two pieces of eel, two pieces of salmon roe, two pieces of green onion sushi, two pieces of sardine, two pieces of squid, two pieces of egg sushi, and one piece of fatty tuna. The sashimi platter had a variety of fresh and crunchy fish, the amberjack and eel were delicious, and the salmon roe was generously served. The green onion sushi, which was not on the menu but ordered by the person next to me, was refreshing with bonito flakes and plum paste. The squid had fine cuts for easy eating, and the fatty tuna was the highlight of the meal with its melt-in-your-mouth texture. I came to this restaurant specifically for the fatty tuna, and it did not disappoint. I was satisfied to finally visit the restaurant I had been wanting to go to. Thank you for the delicious meal!

I've always wanted to go to Nakamise Sanro Tetsuka. The Negitoro roll and the shrimp sushi were particularly delicious and impressive. The shrimp was still alive and its tail was moving the whole time, very fresh. They also served the shrimp head grilled. The design on the back of the tea cup was cute. ♡

This is one of my favorite casual sushi restaurants in East Umeda, especially known for their overflowing "Toro Tekka" which is extremely popular! Customers come from far away with suitcases in tow, and it's a beloved spot for regulars as well. I managed to make a reservation and visited during snack time at 3 o'clock, which was a great time to open. We ordered a sashimi platter with plenty of salmon and Toro, which was incredibly fresh and delicious. The Toro Tekka is a must-order dish that I always get, and the satisfaction of ordering both Toro Taku and Toro Tekka at the same time is unmatched. This time, I tried the Eel and Cucumber roll for the first time, with plenty of eel and cucumber rolled up. We also requested various sushi toppings, and each one had a strong presence and was very satisfying. It's a bit disappointing that they don't have fried dishes, but overall, I was very satisfied. The reserved owner is becoming a bit more friendly recently. I definitely want to make another reservation and enjoy a leisurely lunch with sake here. So happy just thinking about it! Thank you! #Osaka #casualsushi #Toro #SavannahinLion ❤️

Whenever I pass by this restaurant, it's always packed! I was curious so I made a reservation and visited. I think you can't get in without a reservation. There are only about 8 seats at the counter. You can enjoy delicious and affordable sushi with generous portions. The fish slices are huge!! The famous tuna belly is a must-try dish. Make a reservation and try it out.

I finally got to dine at a renowned restaurant that I've always wanted to visit but never had the chance to. It was a bit late when we arrived, but luckily there were two seats available at the counter, so my friend and I managed to get in. The restaurant was small, with only a few seats at the counter due to COVID-19 precautions. The chef was close by, giving off a rough and intimidating vibe, but he was actually a nice person who took our orders without any issues. Unfortunately, the tuna and fatty tuna we wanted were sold out, but we ordered a variety of sushi instead. Each piece was large and bold in flavor, and they were all delicious. Despite the limited space, the orders came out quickly, allowing us to enjoy the sushi at our own pace. It was a great dining experience at this cozy little restaurant.

Popular sushi restaurant "Nakamise" in Osaka Umeda, where reservations are usually required. I took the chance to visit without a reservation and surprisingly found empty seats! The restaurant is located about a 3-minute walk from Higashi-Umeda Station, tucked away in a quiet alley. It has a small L-shaped counter with seating for only about 8 people. The friendly master and mistress run the place. Sushi orders are mostly in sets of 2 pieces, ranging from 300 to 500 yen, quite reasonable. The selection of alcohol includes a variety of sake, which was a nice touch. The sushi here is all generously sized and thick. The rice texture is also excellent. I tried the horse mackerel (2 pieces for 350 yen), tuna (2 pieces for 480 yen), and squid (2 pieces for 350 yen). They were all satisfying and delicious. The most popular item is the "Toro Tekka" (1 piece for 1,350 yen), which is a hearty roll of tuna belly. It's a must-try with a good balance of rice and topping. I was lucky to get in smoothly this time, but usually, it's almost impossible to visit without a reservation. If you're interested, be sure to make a reservation in advance before visiting.

I went to Osaka for work after a long time. After finishing my work, I visited a restaurant that my senior had researched. The atmosphere of the restaurant was excellent. It was a small place tucked away in an alley, run by a husband and wife. Both of them were very kind and lovely! I wanted to try their famous torotaku that day, but unfortunately it was sold out. This place is so popular that the dishes keep running out! I ended up ordering my favorite sushi instead, and it was delicious! The prices were also reasonable. I definitely want to visit this place again when I go to Osaka next time! Next time, I must try the torotaku for sure!

When it comes to sushi in Umeda, Kame Sushi, Nawa Sushi, and Sashisu are popular choices, but this hidden gem has a small capacity of about 10 people and is difficult to reserve a spot! They specialize in sushi rather than appetizers, and offer daily changing selections. The octopus from Akashi is amazing. The specialty fatty tuna is overflowing with flavor! Pairing it with sake was also fantastic.

I went to Torotaku, which is famous and was recommended by a friend. We went without a reservation at first, but the place was full so we had to come back at a different time. Around 9pm, there were fewer customers. The restaurant only has a counter with about 10 seats. We ordered the main dish, Torotaku, and it was served quickly. The presentation, the richness of the tuna, and the amount of rice were perfect and delicious. It was a satisfying dish with a good portion size. The other sushi items were also fresh and thick, and all of them were delicious.

This is a super lovely sushi restaurant in Higashi Umeda! I came here before and it left a lasting impression on me.... I suddenly remembered it and now I really want to go back! The visuals, taste, and cost performance are all amazing. There are some outstanding dishes here that go beyond just being food. One thing that really sticks in your mind is the "food" here. The restaurant is open for sushi from 3 pm, which is a fantastic idea for an afternoon snack. I made a reservation for 3 pm and when I arrived, the place was packed! The interior has only a counter with about 8 seats, so it's small but cozy. The quiet and skillful master and his wife are working efficiently behind the counter. The specialty here is the "deronderon" fatty tuna which shines in a pink color. I ordered a sashimi platter, seared scallops, fatty tuna, tuna, eel, salmon, and amberjack sushi, along with various drinks. The sashimi platter was beautifully presented with pink fatty tuna shining. The seared scallops were delicious with a squeeze of lemon. The fatty tuna sushi was absolutely stunning, and the fatty tuna with wasabi was a must-order. Both were delicious and worth the price. The sushi pieces were thick and satisfying. The sake selection was extensive, perfect for a good drink. This place is like a dreamland for sushi lovers! I love it here. #HigashiUmeda #HiddenGem #FattyTuna #Dreamland #Savannah in Lion♡

A popular sushi restaurant located near Oeutenjin. It has an L-shaped counter with about 9 seats. Surprisingly, there is a signature from Ichiro displayed. There were 5 customers, all regulars. Prices range from 350 yen to 640 yen for 2 pieces of sushi, which is slightly higher for a casual sushi restaurant. The rice is a good size and the toppings are thick. Every topping was delicious, especially the eel (480 yen for 2 pieces) and scallop (480 yen for 2 pieces). The eel sauce had a nice aroma and the scallop was thick and tasty. The signature dish, toro-taku (1400 yen), was visually impressive. It had a generous amount of fatty tuna, similar to medium fatty tuna, with a good balance of fat and was wrapped in wasabi. It was delicious. However, I felt it was a bit of a waste to eat such good fatty tuna with wasabi. The prices are quite reasonable, although I'm not sure about the overall cost performance. It's a hidden gem in the alley that makes you want to come back again and again.
