There are certain types of menus that you shouldn't order unless you are somewhat close with the person you are dining with~! It was my first time at a restaurant in Sōemon-chō, and it had a retro Showa vibe. I went with a senior colleague, and we were guided across the Dotonbori River to the restaurant. We were even offered a 10% discount for being new customers, which we happily accepted! The underground restaurant had a Showa-era interior, which was trendy at the time. The menu was extensive, with detailed descriptions of various types of offal. We ordered a lot of dishes with spicy sauce that day. The menu also had raw liver, which was delicious with sesame oil and salt and pepper. There was a wide variety of alcohol and side dishes available, and with coupons, it didn't hurt the wallet too much. The staff were energetic and quick, although they might not come to your table when they are busy. One interesting aspect was the humorous menu items like "boobs" (pork breast) and "d*ck" (bull's private parts), which caused quite a stir among us. The "boobs" had a soft and milky texture, while the "d*ck" was just very tough. Overall, I would like to visit again if I get the chance, as there are multiple locations of this restaurant now.

Hmm. I was drawn in by the half-price drinks until 7 pm deal, so I wasn't expecting much when I walked in. I ordered the beef tongue and ox tail slices. They said you could enjoy them with just salt and pepper, so I asked for salt and pepper, but it was really just salt and pepper (and the flavor was weak). It would have been so much better with garlic, MSG, or dashi. Also, the ox tail slices were paper-thin. It made me realize how amazing a certain shop in Kawasaki is. The customer next to me, who seemed like a regular, also said, "The menu has changed and the food used to be cheaper and tastier." The staff were cheerful and energetic, which was nice!

I made a reservation around 6:30 pm on the evening before the holiday and visited the restaurant. The retro interior was very impressive. Although the name of the restaurant includes "horumon" (offal), they also have a good selection of regular meats. I tried the all-you-can-eat and drink course, and the quality of the meat was not bad. Personally, I like the style of grilling meat over charcoal, so this place is great for those who prefer charcoal-grilled meat! The access from the station is good, and the service from the staff is also decent, so I would definitely visit again if I have the chance.

We used the meat passport here with 4 people, so it looked like a lot but we finished it quickly. It was a bit unsatisfying though. They have all-you-can-drink and all-you-can-eat courses, which seems nice. I want to try eating hormone again after a while, I miss it. I want to have a yakiniku party soon.

We went with a group of friends who like to drink, so we used a 1000 yen all-you-can-drink coupon and ordered dishes separately. It was reasonable and delicious. The staff were very friendly and the atmosphere was great. The "Yami Harami" (dark harami) was incredibly tasty, so we ended up ordering it multiple times. I would like to go again.

The atmosphere of the Showa era is really nice. Went to Minami with a friend on a day off. I've been to Showa-style horumon restaurants before, but this one really stands out with its Showa posters and signs. It's very interesting. We ordered the special horumon dishes like the rare teppanyaki, ulter, hachinosu, and oppai. The rare teppanyaki was especially delicious with its juicy and tender texture. Overall, the food was tasty. The retro atmosphere really enhanced the flavor of the grilled meat. It felt a bit pricey for horumon, but it's a place I'd like to visit again!

It was an all-you-can-eat buffet and everything was delicious. The staff were really friendly, especially the guy serving us. I definitely want to go back there again.

I ordered the popular 80-item all-you-can-eat option and was very satisfied with the cheap, delicious, and wide variety of dishes, as well as the quick service. The retro atmosphere of the restaurant, reminiscent of the early Showa era, was also a nice touch.

It's usually open whenever you go, which is nice. I don't have the impression of being kept waiting too long. The taste is average. However, the store is not particularly clean, so it's not suitable for a date.

The third destination was a yakiniku restaurant nearby. They are open until 5 am on weekends! The staff girl looks so much like Yukina Kinoshita! Everyone there has a good vibe. The seared yukhoe was seared right in front of us and the big harami was cooked for us. The napa cabbage kimchi was delicious. It tasted even better because the first place we went to wasn't good. The bill was only a third of what we expected. The napa cabbage kimchi was so good that I might get scolded for praising it. Sorry! The harami was also delicious. I'm not a fan of horumon. They have a decent amount of rice even in the small size. Thank you for the meal. I'm keeping the third place we went to a secret.

There is a yakiniku restaurant open until 9 am on Sunday mornings (^o^)/ There are not many yakiniku restaurants open at this time, probably only Iroriya and Mikii. Iroriya is cheap but not very tasty. Mikii is somewhat delicious but expensive. If you go to Mikii, you might as well go to a good yakiniku restaurant at night with better value and decent taste! And that's where Showa Horumon comes in, haha. Since I went during that time, popular items like Yukke were sold out, but I ordered quite a variety for one person. The price, the satisfaction of a full stomach, and the taste were all good (n´—｀n). I recommend it if you want to have yakiniku in the morning! It's a chain restaurant so you can find it anywhere, but I'll leave a review here since it's open in the morning!

Well, it's been a while since my last post. I've been refraining from drinking beer lately, so my posts have been few and far between. But today, I'm going for it. Beeeer! Soutaemoncho is open until 8 in the morning and is our hope for yakiniku. As soon as we sat down, we ordered beer. We can't do without Showa Hormone and fresh liver. Fresh liver always tastes great. We also had bean sprout namul in between, and more beer. This time, I came here because I wanted to try their sauce. We had sandmino, red liver, tsurami, pork belly sausage, and the must-have sesame leaf rice balls which were surprisingly delicious. This place is a must-go if you're out late at night. I'll definitely be back for a late-night visit.

I visited a hormone restaurant in Dotonbori, Nambaヾ(＠⌒ー⌒＠)ノ The most popular dish at this restaurant is the "phantom tecchan" which is a rare cut of lean meat called "dark Harami". They have a wide variety of hormone cuts available! The side dishes are also excellent and the discount coupons are very attractive. When I played rock-paper-scissors with the staff at the checkout, I received a 30% OFF couponヾ(＠⌒ー⌒＠)ノ The "phantom tecchan" was fatty and had a great texture - it was delicious! When I was young, I used to frequent this restaurant that stayed open until the early hours. Now it has become a franchise chain of yakiniku (grilled meat) restaurants found everywhere. Since I am no longer as young, I decided to stop by after a long time. Without looking at the menu carefully, I impulsively ordered the "dokidoki kokoro yukke" (exciting heart yukke). It was a bit nerve-wracking, in a sense. I'm good with that. The famous "dark harami" wasn't as juicy as it used to be, maybe my taste buds have changed. The red sirloin was just average. In the past, the staff used to be unfriendly and didn't interact much, but now they provide explanations for each dish and even see you off at the exit. I wasn't looking for good service, so I was surprised. Overall, it was a decent experience. Thank you for the meal.

I visited this restaurant located in Soemon-cho, just a 3-minute walk from Namba Station, on the night of July 6, 2008. I have visited this shop several times. They have rare cuts of meat at reasonable prices. I think I discovered my favorite red wagyu beef here. Thank you for the delicious meal!
