The interior was spacious with about 50 seats, and I opted for the "Choose Your Set Meal" (880 yen) where you can select one item from Menu 1 and one item from Menu 2. I chose the Minced Cutlet from Menu 1 and the 2 Mini Cutlets and 1 Fried Chicken from Menu 2. The menu also includes options like Large Shrimp, Yamagata Pork Cutlet Set Meal, Yokozuna Set Meal, Thick Pork Cutlet Set Meal, and more, all priced below 1,600 yen. After ordering, I headed to the service counter where rice, curry, miso soup, raw egg, natto, 7 side dishes, and seaweed were available. I returned to my table with my set meal which included the selected items along with cabbage, rice, miso soup, salt, and sesame seeds. The taste of the cutlets was decent, and I also enjoyed the egg over rice and curry. Overall, for the price, the meal was satisfactory and brought back memories of my hometown in Kobe.

This area (Nanko) is somewhat quiet, and since no other shops are open on the first floor of the Sakishu Government Building except for Lawson, Tonkatsu Nagata En is thriving. One of the features of Tonkatsu Nagata En is that, as the name suggests, it mainly serves fried foods such as tonkatsu, along with curry, side dishes, miso soup, rice, and cabbage that are all-you-can-eat, which is popular. Today, I chose the Select Set for 800 yen from the various menu options. You can choose one from half chicken cutlet, minced cutlet, white fish fry, crab cream croquette, and tomato cream croquette. You can choose three from one-bite cutlet and fried chicken to make one combination. I chose the chicken cutlet and three one-bite cutlets. After waiting for about 10 minutes, the food was served. I mixed the sesame seeds and sauce and started eating. The breadcrumbs seemed to be fine breadcrumbs rather than fresh breadcrumbs, so they were a bit hard and crispy. It's really great that you can have unlimited cabbage refills. I topped it with dressing and ate it while eating the tonkatsu, and then I asked for a refill right away. I also had a refill of miso soup and macaroni salad. Finally, I poured curry over it and ate it as katsu curry.
