The day before the declaration of a state of emergency, I went to a meat bar in Sangenjaya and drank a lot. A friend of mine recommended it, and the prices were reasonable. Even the ribeye steak was around 1,000 yen. They also had a variety of izakaya-style dishes that were cheap and delicious. The female staff were friendly and welcoming. I tried a lot of dishes, but the fluffy omelette was especially delicious. Thank you for the meal!

Yesterday's dinner was at Carlo-san, where I had a Wagyu sirloin steak, cranberry orange cocktail, and horse meat tartare. It cost 2580 yen. The Wagyu sirloin steak was tender with a rich flavor from the marbling, it was really delicious. Although the portion was on the smaller side, the wasabi and fried garlic added a nice touch. It was so tasty that I finished it quickly. The cocktail was 400 yen, but it was nothing special in terms of presentation or uniqueness, so it was just okay. As for the horse meat tartare, it wasn't as satisfying as at a specialized horse meat restaurant, but the quality in terms of meat temperature control and seasoning was still satisfying. I'm happy that a meat bar serving such delicious steak has opened in Sangenjaya. Since there is no parking space, I recommend going there by train.

After returning from a business trip, I stopped by another restaurant because I wanted to drink a little more and it was still early (6:30 pm!). I wandered around and found a nice looking restaurant (I had seen it during the day, but it looked even better at night). When I entered, it was Friday but no one was there yet! I had already eaten a bit, so I ordered some snacks and a drink. The menu had many delicious options. I decided to order a gulp-worthy wine since it seemed like a good fit. It was the right choice. I drank it all in one go. Before I knew it, the place was full of people! I stumbled my way back home.

The small restaurant was almost full and had a lively and fun atmosphere. The menu was all cheap and fantastic. The only downside was that the potato side dish with the sirloin was cold. Everything else was delicious and had great value for money. I recommend it to those who want to enjoy a casual, fun, and delicious drink. Thank you for the meal!

We were having dinner in Sangenjaya and decided to go to this new restaurant for our second stop. My friend seemed interested in it. The restaurant was packed, but we managed to get two seats at the counter just in time. The menu focused on meat dishes, which I thought would be expensive, but it was actually quite affordable. This is a newly opened meat bar in December, located just a 2-minute walk from Sangawa Line Mikuni-ga-Oka Station and JR Hanwa Line. The bar offers a mix of Italian dishes along with meat-based options. The entrance leads to a long and narrow space with a counter on the right and tables on the left. I started with a draft beer, potato salad, and roast beef, which was quite satisfying in terms of taste and portion for the prices. The roast beef, priced at 600 yen, was particularly good. I also ordered a green onion omelette, which was fluffy and delicious for only 300 yen. I later had a glass of red wine for 290 yen, which was also a good deal. Overall, the cost performance was great, and I enjoyed my visit. On a second visit, the place was already quite busy. I ordered a beer, an appetizer platter, a hamburger, and a mix of hormone meat. The appetizer platter was a bit lacking in variety for the price. The hamburger was served lukewarm, which was disappointing, but the taste and portion were good. The mix of hormone meat was decent. I plan to try the steak on my next visit. Despite the lukewarm hamburger, I still enjoyed my experience and the affordable wine options available at the bar.
