Lunch special in May of the 5th year of Reiwa (11:30-14:30), priced at 750 yen. It consisted of salmon and whitebait bowl, cold soba, and pickles. It was delicious with good cost performance. It was also great that it was served in about 3 minutes after ordering, which is appreciated in the office district for lunch.

This is my fifth visit to this affordable set meal restaurant. On this day, I had the service set meal (I think it was the daily special). It came with sashimi (yellowtail, I think) and soba. The sashimi was quite delicious. The soba was also good, similar to the soba shop next door. It's nice that they take care of non-smokers as well.

I had been drinking there a few times, but this was my first time going for lunch. The people in the office seem to go there often, so I decided to give it a try! It was a weekday lunchtime and I ordered the tuna bowl set, which comes with soba or udon. I chose the cold soba. I'm a sucker for anything labeled "limited edition". The tuna in the bowl was not overflowing, but it was good quality and tasty. The hot rice with egg and grated yam topped with a generous amount of tuna made a delicious bowl. The cold, firm soba had a great texture and just the right amount of volume. It was delicious and satisfying. With this meal, I feel ready to tackle the rest of the work day.

A large izakaya with over 100 seats. Even though I was alone, I was able to sit at a table for six people. It was around 11 o'clock, so it was not crowded, but during peak hours, you might have to share a table with others since there are no counter seats. I ordered the "Katsudon set meal" where you can choose between hot or cold soba or udon. I chose cold udon. The food was average in quality but had a good portion size, so I think it's worth the price of 780 yen including tax. The service was polite and left a good impression, but it was disappointing that they didn't provide wet towels. They also didn't have paper napkins or tissues available, so I deducted points for the service aspect.

I had a craving for a rice bowl dish. I ordered a pork cutlet rice bowl with soba noodles for 780 yen. The soba noodles portion was quite large. It's really cheap. The place is really crowded. Looks like I might have to share a table with someone. The taste is decent for the price. It's quite plain and lacks the depth of flavor, making me thirsty. This is a past log. Today, I had lunch in Honmachi. It's a tavern that serves lunch. Pork cutlet bowl and soba for 750 yen - what a deal! The pork cutlet is quite thick. The service is fast, the taste is delicious, and Osaka is great for affordable dining! (^_^)

You can have unlimited rice refills. It's quite a generous portion. The miso sauce was a sweet and savory thick sauce that enticed the rice. There is also a snack called "Calbee Potato Chips Miso Katsu Flavor" (4 bags) which is a local snack from Nagoya and is suitable as a hand gift or souvenir. Price: ¥700. Review: You can choose between udon or soba, but I prefer soba. It's light and delicious. For ¥650, the portion size and taste are great. The box is also big, so I recommend it. It's cheap and fills you up. I think sharing a table is inevitable during peak lunch hours.

The meal included appetizers, sashimi, salad, black beans, fried chicken, french fries, individual hot pot with tofu, grilled chicken with yuzu pepper, and seafood chirashi sushi to finish. The taste was average, but considering the price with all-you-can-drink, it was very reasonable and sufficient. It was a great bonus that the organizer's portion was complimentary. I think this place is a strong ally for office workers.

This place is truly a friend of salarymen. The service lunch options change daily and include regular-sized udon or soba with choices like oyakodon or katsudon for 650 yen. The portions are amazing, perfect for satisfying men. Women might find it challenging to finish the meal... For women, the udon or soba with a set of three inari sushi is just right, priced at around 650 yen. The mackerel simmered set meal is 700 yen and comes with udon or soba, offering a generous amount of food. Even big eaters at the office were satisfied with the portion. It's not an extra-large serving kind of place, but it's a budget-friendly option where you can enjoy a bowl of rice and udon for this price. Highly recommended for lunch around Temma-bashi area!
