I had plans for the day so I decided to go for a quick meal at a conveyor belt sushi restaurant. Today, I went to "Kaiten Sushi Kitaniijou-ten". Since it was during the Obon season, they didn't have a weekday lunch set, so I opted for a reasonable three-piece sushi plate. The restaurant was slightly empty, which meant the service was quick, and I enjoyed 7 delicious plates of sushi and left feeling satisfied.

- Aomori salmon: One plate with two pieces for 385 yen (tax included). The salmon had a moist texture and just the right amount of fat. It was the best among the dishes ordered on that day (July 31st).
- Overflowing conger eel: One plate with two pieces for 319 yen (tax included).
- Eel: One plate with two pieces for 385 yen (tax included). The second and third plates were a comparison between conger eel and eel, and it was a tough competition.
- Hokkaido scallop: One plate with two pieces for 385 yen (tax included). The scallop had a firm and sweet texture.
- Tuna red meat: One plate with two pieces for 385 yen (tax included). The tuna red meat was moist and had an elegant taste.
- Crab miso: One plate with two pieces for 319 yen (tax included). The end of the sushi meal was with the irresistible crab miso.
- Hokkaido octopus tempura: 495 yen (tax included). It was freshly fried and hot, with a spicy coating and tender octopus meat.
- Yubari melon: 385 yen (tax included). It had a perfectly ripe sweetness.

I also like Triton, but actually I prefer this place!!! As I get older, I can't eat as much, so as an arasa (around 30s) person, I really love the 3-piece sushi set series (♡ω♡). I can enjoy a variety of things little by little at a reasonable price and I am very satisfied (* 'ᵕ' )☆ I remembered an old man I met in Toyama who said, "Good sushi is delicious in any region, whether inland or in Tokyo. In regions where the fish is delicious, you should eat cheap sushi."

・Fisherman's fish soup 281 yen (including tax) Starting with the must-have fish soup at Kaitenmaru (shared with my wife...).・Salt-grilled tuna cheek meat 2 pieces on one plate 319 yen (including tax) It was more like cooked through rather than grilled, and ended up feeling like meat sushi.・Eel 2 pieces on one plate 385 yen (including tax) Covered generously with sauce.・Hokkaido striped beakfish 2 pieces on one plate 281 yen (including tax) Had a crisp texture.・Crab miso 2 pieces on one plate 319 yen (including tax) Rich and rare taste.・Scallop seared in soy sauce 2 pieces on one plate 319 yen (including tax) Personally, I might prefer it when the soy sauce is applied more generously like the last time I ordered it... Finished with tuna.・Tuna belly 2 pieces on one plate 319 yen (including tax) Had a robust texture.

The best value one-coin lunch (550 yen including tax) was still going strong! In a world where prices keep going up, it's amazing! Plus, lunch is served until 5 pm. It's like an early dinner! I wish I was closer so I could go. I ended up going for the one-coin lunch. My partner went for the 12-piece 1000 yen lunch. We also ordered the special plate of eel and conger eel, which is only available during lunchtime. Miso soup and coffee are complimentary. We found a quiet table at the far end. If I have the chance to come back here, I would love to eat here again.

・Boiled cherry shrimp sushi plate - 2 pieces for 231 yen (including tax) The ginger enhanced the sweetness of the boiled cherry shrimp. ・Seared golden eye snapper sushi plate - 2 pieces for 319 yen (including tax) The first seared dish of the day. The tender, melt-in-your-mouth white flesh combined with the crispy skin. ・Fisherman's fish broth - 281 yen (including tax) The broth has a subtle saltiness, allowing the umami from the fish to shine through. ・Seared scallop with soy sauce - 2 pieces for 319 yen (including tax) The second seared dish. The scallop's tender, melt-in-your-mouth texture was delightful. ・Assorted sushi boat of the day - 2 pieces for 176 yen (including tax) Tuna, salmon, and roe, among others. A plate that showcased a mix of flavors without being just a random assortment. ・Eel sushi - 2 pieces for 385 yen (including tax) Eel generously coated in sauce. ・Extra-large wagyu beef rib sushi - 1 piece for 385 yen (including tax) The chef sears the beef rib right in front of you with a burner, seasoning it with salt and pepper.

I visited for lunch and there was a 500 yen one-coin lunch option, but this time I ordered the 1000 yen Saimison, as I also wanted to eat tempura and chawanmushi. I chose warm udon over soba, and it was a satisfying meal with a generous portion. Miso soup and coffee were self-service. The sushi was delicious and good value for money, so I would like to go again.

I used it for lunch. It was around 11:30, but about 70% of the seats were taken, and more customers were coming in. I ordered a 10-piece lunch through the touch panel. There is a mix of delicious and normal toppings. Since I was alone, the set is good because you can eat a variety of toppings. It might be good to make it a one-coin lunch and add toppings as you like.

There is a delicious and reasonably priced conveyor belt sushi restaurant in the neighborhood. The restaurant is always clean and you can enjoy your meal comfortably. On this day, I wanted to eat sashimi, so I consulted with the chef and ordered my favorite nigiri, which was made into a sashimi platter for me. It's great for those who enjoy drinking sake. They also have a variety of Hokkaido specialties like herring, scallops, and sea urchin.

The sushi had a good volume and was satisfying to eat (diameter 5.5cm, length 10.5cm). The ingredients included negitoro, salmon, sweet shrimp, scallop, shredded snow crab, shirako, flying fish roe, squid, and cucumber - a luxurious variety with plenty of toppings! Everything was very fresh. The vinegar rice was just right and delicious. I would like to try their lunch menu next time. Thank you for the delicious meal.

For this expedition, I wanted to eat plenty of sushi (seafood bowls), so after enjoying a creative sushi lunch, I headed to a popular conveyor belt sushi restaurant. Hokkaido is known for having high-quality sushi even at conveyor belt restaurants, so I was looking forward to it. Even though it was past 2 pm, about 70% of the seats were already taken. Here are the sushi dishes I ordered this time: [Otoro Salmon] (255 yen excluding tax), [Salmon Trio] (350 yen excluding tax), [Snow Crab Flake] (350 yen excluding tax), [Today's assorted seafood gunkan sushi] (160 yen excluding tax), [White Fish Trio] (350 yen excluding tax), [Red Shrimp] (160 yen excluding tax), [Albacore Tuna] (125 yen excluding tax). As for my impressions, the Otoro Salmon was incredibly delicious with its rich fat content! The Salmon Trio included "aged Ginsei Salmon" from Hokkaido, allowing me to enjoy different flavors. The White Fish Trio had thick flounder and sea bream, giving a sense of value. The red shrimp and albacore tuna had a solid taste for their price. The snow crab might have had a slightly weak flavor due to being flaked meat... Finished eating! Local conveyor belt sushi in Sapporo is truly fresh and delicious. Thank you for the meal!

We were discussing where to eat as we walked down a road we had never been before, and soon it was almost lunchtime. Then, we spotted a sign for a One Coin Sushi Lunch. One coin! (550 yen tax included) And it even came with coffee. Without hesitation, we decided to eat there and parked our car. It was around 11:30, but the place was already full. We had to wait for one group, and we were second in line. We reserved a table and were seated in about 5-6 minutes. We were a bit skeptical about the One Coin sushi, but we decided to order it. My companion ordered the Sashimi Bento for 954 yen, which came with sushi, tempura, soba noodles, and chawanmushi. It was such a great deal! The chef skillfully prepared the sushi, and the ingredients were fresh, with even chu-toro included. The place was constantly busy with customers coming in. The miso soup and coffee were also included in the set. The nori miso soup was delicious, and the coffee allowed us to relax and enjoy our meal. It was amazing that the lunchtime lasted until 5 pm! Although it's a bit far from home, we definitely want to come back again.

[Published in early July 2022] Visited with a wife who is dieting and found out that it's okay to eat a little, so we entered the restaurant with peace of mind (laughs). Our order was as follows:
- Daily special fresh chirashi sushi (770 yen) x2
- Sweet potato mochi (132 yen)
- Pudding in a pot (176 yen)
- Tuna mayo (132 yen)
- Gassu shrimp (374 yen)
The fresh chirashi sushi this time was not the best. There were too many octopus heads and the negitoro was mediocre. However, considering the price, we were satisfied (^^). The sweet potato mochi was delicious, hot and fluffy. The pudding in a pot had a sweet caramel sauce but it was a custard pudding that I really liked! The tuna mayo was average. The gassu shrimp may not be familiar to locals, but it's a type of shrimp caught in areas like Hokkaido, similar to snow crabs. I used to enjoy eating it often in the Hokuriku region. It had a sticky texture, was very sweet, and the saltiness of the salmon roe enhanced its sweetness, making it delicious!
The miso soup had a strong dashi flavor, which I liked. It was a bit reduced, but since it's self-service, it's understandable. UCC coffee was included in the price, so I was very satisfied. Many customers in the restaurant were eating the one-coin and tempura sushi set.
[Overall Impression] The one-coin lunch is cheap, but the potential of the restaurant is only demonstrated in terms of cost performance. It may not compete in terms of the size of the sushi toppings with gourmet conveyor belt sushi restaurants in Sapporo, but they seem to have their own unique sourcing route, providing fresh toppings flown in from Shikoku. There are hit menu items like the gassu shrimp this time, and side dishes like the pudding in a pot that are delicious. Depending on what you order, you can be satisfied with this restaurant. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal! 🍣

We visited Uotemmaru, which is conveniently located nearby. We enjoyed the spring premium six-piece sushi, aged Ginsei, upper conger eel, horse mackerel, gizzard shad, adult natto roll, and seaweed soup. The place was somewhat crowded, and the sushi was made-to-order instead of on a conveyor belt. Everything was quite delicious, especially the horse mackerel and gizzard shad. It was a tasty meal. Thank you!

I refreshed myself with a sauna at a public bathhouse in the neighborhood. Before heading home, I wanted to have a meal and decided to try this place. It's known for its good value during lunchtime on weekends at 8:00 PM, and it also has decent customer traffic in the evening. I quickly ordered 5 dishes at the counter: squid with natto, spring flavors sushi trio (yuzu cherry blossom sea bream, spring herring, mountain wasabi cherry salmon), popular sushi trio (tuna, squid, cured mackerel), bigeye tuna with green onion and toro, and natto. The total came to 1,078 yen. I stayed for about 15 minutes and then left after enjoying my meal.

The restaurant is called "Kaitenmaru" and "Kitakitetei", with 2 stores in Sapporo city and 3 other stores in Hokkaido. The total bill for two people was 3756 yen for 15 dishes. The miso soup had plenty of fish in it, which was a good deal, but I wish there was more soup. The hot water for pouring into the powdered tea was at a good temperature, which I appreciated. The pickled ginger was also delicious, showing attention to detail. The three kinds of shellfish - clam, scallop, and hokki - were all delicious. The sliced squid and octopus head were refreshing and crispy, and the sushi rolls with fish roe on top were served with ponzu sauce, which was tasty. The "piyotama" was a cute sweet omelet with a baby chick printed on it, surprisingly delicious. The smile potato, fried potato, was also delicious. Overall, we ate a lot and were satisfied. Thank you for the meal!

I wanted to try the weekday lunch special at this restaurant. When I arrived at lunchtime, it was full and there were about 2 groups waiting. After waiting for about 5 minutes, I was seated at a booth. I ordered the colorful meal set for 900 yen, which includes 10 pieces of sushi, soba or udon, tempura, and chawanmushi. You can choose between cold or hot soba or udon. While waiting, I enjoyed some self-service seaweed soup. The meal set that arrived was very generous in portion. The tempura included shiso leaf, crab stick, shrimp, and smelt fish, all crispy and delicious! I chose hot udon, which had a simple and comforting taste. The sushi included tuna, salmon, squid, shrimp, and more, offering a variety of flavors. After finishing the chawanmushi, I was completely full. I also took the complimentary coffee to go. It was a delicious and cost-effective lunch experience.

I ordered the seared scallop with natural salt for 340 yen and the seasonal bluefin tuna belly for 340 yen at the wine coin lunch limited to weekdays. The seared scallop with natural salt was delicious! The scallops, red shrimp, and squid were all more flavorful than usual and had a melting texture. What is this... I will definitely order it next time. The bluefin tuna belly also had a perfect melting texture. As mentioned on the menu, it was not greasy and remained delicious until the end.

A local capital revolving sushi chain near Higashi-ku Motomachi Station. I downloaded a coupon for one free plate in advance and stopped by on my way back from Ajanta Sogen. This restaurant is known for its various 3-piece sets, and although the prices are higher than major chain stores, I am satisfied with the sushi rice being hand-pressed by the staff at body temperature. There are some locally sourced ingredients available.
