On a business trip to Kyushu Hakata for the first time in six months. It was lunchtime, and I had to prepare meeting materials for the meeting starting at 1:00 PM while grabbing a quick bite to eat. When I entered the restaurant, it was a little past 12:20 PM and the time was hard to read... At times like this, I usually opt for a bento box from a nearby shop to quickly satisfy my hunger. However, I wanted something delicious, even if it was just a small wish. I decided on a bento box with 3 pieces of fried chicken for an extra 60 yen. In the end, I regretted not getting the one with 5 pieces... but the taste was good and it was a cost-effective bento box. I'll definitely visit again.

A growing fried chicken restaurant, "Toyokara-tei," in front of Hakata Station. This is the 29th store, located near the Minoshima intersection. They offer 3 fried chicken nuggets and 3 teriyaki mayo for a total of 420 yen, perfect for a beer snack. It's always affordable and delicious, thank you.

Typhoon No. 10 was approaching, so I had to stay in a hotel. There were hardly any bento boxes at the convenience store, but luckily this place was open for takeout. I bought a 5-piece fried chicken bento for 445 yen. Back at the hotel, I found that each piece of fried chicken was quite large. Considering the price, the chicken seemed to be made from breast meat. It was crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. It was delicious, especially as a side dish with beer. The fried chicken is the specialty of the shop, so I would definitely consider revisiting. The only downside was that the amount of rice was a bit lacking, less than two portions.
