If you want to eat yakiniku at a reasonable price in Tozangoku, then Juju-an is the place to go. The popular shop offers all-you-can-eat order-style, but we always order individual items. The interior of the restaurant is a bit old, with broken keys and such in the restroom, but it is quite spacious. Each table has a charcoal grill, giving it an authentic feel. The staff are not always the most friendly, with some being hit or miss. We always order the Juju-an set Gokume (3980 yen). This includes salted tongue, today's special selection, kalbi, loin, harami, bone-in kalbi, assorted vegetables, and assorted kimchi - a generous portion. Honestly, this alone is satisfying, but on this day, we also ordered liver as an addition. I'm a liver fanatic. Lower your uric acid levels. Orders are placed using a touch panel, and the food arrives fairly quickly. The meat at Juju-an is cut quite generously, giving a sense of value. Every type of meat is delicious. Can't go wrong. Maybe it's even tastier because it's grilled over charcoal. My favorite is still the liver, haha. The assorted kimchi includes Chinese cabbage, radish, and cucumber - three types. A decent amount is served, but the cucumber is not that great. It always ends up uneaten. The assorted vegetables vary each time you visit. On this day, there was eggplant, but on other days, there might be potatoes or a shortage of onions. It would be better to keep it consistent. Also, the beer is a Premol Kouru Ale, which is disappointing. I think a regular Asahi or something else would be better suited for yakiniku. At first, I liked the Kouru Ale, but the strange sweetness starts to bother me.
