I visited here near Osaka Business Park Station. The occasion was a celebration for my relative's 60th birthday. The attention to detail was reflected in the dishes, and they were all delicious, but the appetizers were particularly creative, using ingredients I don't usually eat, which was very refreshing. The fish was also fatty and everyone was very happy with the celebratory meal. It was a great experience.

I had been taking a break for the past 2 years due to COVID, but on July 1st, we finally held our annual dinner party here. It had been 2 years since the last one! I often have lunch here, but it had been a while since I had dinner, so I went on an empty stomach. I enjoyed delicious food and drinks and left fully satisfied. If I have the chance, I would like to visit the Kitahama Main Store once. Thank you for the wonderful meal.

I visited for the first time, and because the drinks at the hotel were expensive, I chose a banquet course with all-you-can-drink for about 14,000 yen. There was no explanation of the dishes or menu during the service, and they were served in a matter-of-fact manner. The food was not bad and we enjoyed it, but there were no particularly noteworthy dishes. It ended smoothly without any issues. I guess this is the kind of experience you can expect at a restaurant of this level with this price range.

I was invited to have a meal with the head or representative of a drugstore chain that is mainly based in Kansai, called Kawauchiya. It was a business dinner, so there are no photos. Kawauchiya likes Hanagairo, and when he was a branch manager, he often used the main store in Kitahama for entertaining. It was a nostalgic feeling. This time, we dined at the Osaka Castle branch located in Hotel New Otani. We were treated to a lunch course consisting of: - Appetizer - Simmered dish - Sashimi - Grilled dish - Assorted seasonal dishes - Rice - Dessert. The drink was free-flowing, but I opted for a non-alcoholic drink. There was no alcohol served. Kawauchiya had ginger ale. I sat next to the chairman and across from the president. I wasn't nervous, but I made sure to be mindful of the conversation. The food at Hanagairo is truly exquisite. It is delicious, elegant, and luxurious. The day after this meal, I finally started the final considerations for my next car purchase. 500 or 215. And I finally made a decision. In the hotel parking lot, there were luxury cars lined up, but with this one, I'll be fine wherever I go! I decided on a Renault TWINGO. A complete victory for my wife.

Located on the 3rd floor of Hotel New Otani next to Osaka Castle, this main branch is a renowned historical restaurant in Kitahama. Established in the first year of Tenpo, it became the venue for the Osaka Conference in the 8th year of Meiji, a milestone in Japan's constitutional system. Named by Kido Takayoshi to celebrate the success of the Osaka Conference, it was named "Hanagairou". I have visited the temporary store (Nishi-Tenma) twice at night when the main store was being rebuilt, but there are no reviews. I didn't have a car, so I had beer and sake. I forgot to take a picture of the sashimi, but there was one more dish. It was like a mini kaiseki, and maybe because I had it at the main store, I can't deny that I was a little disappointed as there was no head female manager. Perhaps if I went with the mindset of having a light lunch, it might have been different. Thank you for the meal!

We went out for a meal to celebrate a birthday. We made a reservation and arrived at 11:30 on Saturday. It wasn't crowded. We had a window seat with a view of Osaka Castle. The distance from the entrance to the dining area was quite far, and there wasn't much decoration. We ordered a mini course for 7,000 yen. A 10% service charge was added. The course included 7 dishes from appetizers to dessert. The seasoning was quite light. We didn't drink alcohol as we drove, but we felt like we wanted to try a sweet Fushimi sake served warm.

This is a long-established restaurant in Osaka that was founded during the Tenpo era♪ I went for lunch with some gourmet friends. It opened on the 3rd floor of the New Otani Osaka in March this year. It used to be a Japanese restaurant called "Shiromi" before! The restaurant was not crowded, so we could relax. From the large windows, you can see Osaka Castle beyond the street trees! However, when sitting down, Osaka Castle was not visible behind the trees. The lunch options range from 3,500 yen to 13,000 yen with 6 choices. We had the Sakura Gozen for 5,000 yen. The first dish that came out was served in a lovely fan-shaped plate, bringing a refreshing feeling like a cool breeze in the hot summer. There were 8 different dishes on the plate, each with unique flavors, textures, and ingredients. Everyone particularly praised the sashimi, especially the marbled tuna which was delicious. It was just us dining there, as it was right before the Obon holiday and the kids were on summer vacation, making it difficult for mothers and grandmothers to move around. We enjoyed our meal slowly and deliciously.

Thanks to the efforts of the organizer, we had a mini lecture on hospitality by the 5th generation landlady of Hanagairou before our meal. Her speaking style and demeanor were truly impressive. It was a lecture that made us feel the 190 years of history and culture. Thank you very much. It was a great learning experience. The food was also delicious. Thank you for the wonderful meal.
