It had been a while since four of us went for lunch together. It was the first time under the new name, but the menu had not changed from before. The salad, rice, and soup were all you can eat, so it might be good for men. We ordered the domestic grilled meat set. We were very full!! Thank you for the meal.

It was renovated to this new establishment a while ago, and this was my first visit. There wasn't a significant change in the exterior, just a change in the signboard. The charm point may be the Japanese horseshoe crab. The interior of the restaurant is non-smoking. ◇Seating: There are 5 counter seats and 10 sofa table seats. ◇Menu Structure: Personally, I found it slightly complicated. It is divided into a la carte and course options, with 5 different courses available starting from 1980 yen. I chose the following: - 1980 yen course with all-you-can-eat option The price mentioned is per adult, with half price for elementary school students and free for preschoolers. There are two types of sauces, a miso-based one and a soy sauce-based one. I personally felt both could be improved, but the soy sauce-based one was preferable. The course included items such as Japanese-style salad, chijimi, special salted fried chicken, french fries, kimchi, choice of white rice, mini bibimbap, or mini cold noodles, and dessert ice cream. The all-you-can-eat options included various meats like beef kalbi, pork belly, chicken thighs, and more. The highlight was the marinated beef intestines, which were delicious. ◆Strengths: Course menu with all-you-can-eat option. ◆Service: Average. This could be an area for improvement. ◆Overall: Personally, I preferred the previous establishment. The previous restaurant had a better user experience for me. Thick Cut Steak Bento (150g) for 972 yen. I ordered by phone for takeout, choosing a normal amount of rice. The steak in the bento box was thick and tender, with a good distribution of fat making the meat quite delicious. The sauce was slightly sweet but within acceptable limits. The fried garlic was a bit too crunchy and unnecessary. The garlic soaked in the sweet sauce, enhancing its sweetness. The kimchi was quite authentic and tasty. Often, these types of yakiniku or steak bento boxes have poor quality meat, but this one, being directly operated by a butcher shop, lived up to expectations. They accept PayPay. The name shown on the PayPay payment screen is "Kaishin".

This is a yakiniku restaurant in the Minami-ku area of ​​Kokura, and this time I decided to get takeout. I was curious if takeout required a reservation, so I called. They said I could order without a reservation and even get it on the same day. I reserved the thick-cut steak bento, which was listed as a generous 150g portion, and arrived at around 7pm. The takeout menu consists of bento boxes, including steak bowls, sukiyaki bento, hamburger bento, premium steak bowls, and yakiniku bento. The steak bento had plenty of garlic fries on top of the steak, which really increased my appetite. The meat was tender with a good chewy texture, and the rice went down smoothly. This restaurant is directly managed by "Tanaka Shoten" located in the Tanka Market. I plan to visit the Tanka Market next time to buy Tanaka-san's meat and maybe dine in at the restaurant. However, with the fourth wave of the new coronavirus approaching, I think it's best to wait until the situation improves before dining in. I wonder what kind of bento I should try next time. Tanaka's meat is delicious! Thank you for the meal!
