[Shibuchika's premium cakes bring happiness to your taste buds] Located in the Tokyu Food Show underground at Shibuya Station, I visited this place looking for a main dish and side dish for a special dinner. I also decided to try their desserts, choosing the Strawberry Classic Shortcake and the Japanese Chestnut and Hojicha Mont Blanc, totaling around 2200 yen. The cost performance is not bad, considering the slightly larger portion size and the atmosphere that feels a bit more upscale compared to casual eateries. This place seems to be a deli, as the staff handle both savory dishes and sweets, balancing saltiness and sweetness in their offerings. While I didn't see any gelato being sold during my visit, reviews from others indicate that it is also a popular item here.

Food show Shibuchika's Pariya-san. I saw a key lime around July and just had to have it, so I got a takeout (because there aren't many situations where you can buy takeout and go straight home) and there was only one left, the key lime yogurt cream (918 yen). It was like they saved it just for me, I was so excited. I immediately dug in. The layers were beautifully arranged and the bottom salty crackers added a nice accent to the refreshing yogurt. Even though it was large, I devoured it in no time. I would have been even happier if they had key lime pie, but it's not easy to come by in Japan, so I'll settle for this.

I had a melon shortcake at PARIYA Delicatessen, which opened in Tokyu Food Show Shibuya. The whipped cream was not too sweet and had a light texture, making it very moist. There were plenty of melon slices inside, and the sponge cake was very soft. The taste was similar to Fondry's shortcake. There is an eat-in area nearby called Shibuya Stand, where I enjoyed it. First visit. A delicatessen located in the newly renovated Shibuchika. Although their main products are deli items, they also sell cakes, albeit in small quantities. I saw the cake that everyone has been talking about in reviews by Mairebi-san, so I decided to buy it. Strawberry Classic Shortcake (850 yen + tax): The candle-like shape is super cute (*/□＼*). It definitely looks good! As for the taste... honestly, Cozy Corner's cakes might be better. But then again, I haven't had Cozy Corner's cakes in about five years, so I might be romanticizing my memory. Anyway, what impressed me the most was that they provided a special takeout case just for one piece of cake.

When I think of Parla, I used to associate it with gelato, but the new food show Parla no longer has gelato. It has become a shop mainly focused on bento boxes. Today, I decided to buy a Parla bento box and eat it at the Shibuya stand! I made my purchase right after they opened at 11 am. You can choose your favorite deli items. Some items may have an additional charge. I chose one deli item for an extra 100 yen to go with my brown rice bento, totaling 1350 yen. I really liked the daikon, coriander, and sakura shrimp mixed with sesame oil. I wonder if I can make it at home.

Located in the underground of Shibuya, Parilla in Tokyu Food Show offers takeout options for lunch. You can choose between white rice or brown rice, and select 3 menu items. This time, I chose crushed tofu with tuna, seaweed green salad, Nira tamagoyaki, cornflake fish fry. Some menus may have an additional 100 yen charge. The portions are sufficient and the taste is decent, which explains why there are many repeat customers.

A friend recommended it to me and I tried the takeout. The showcase had so many delicious options that I had a hard time deciding. Especially the green curry in the bottom right corner was delicious with lots of meat chunks! Next time, I'll try a different menu for takeout.

Paradeli Caden @ Shibuya I bought a cookie can. When I opened it, I was surprised! All the cookies were savory flavors, each one was large and cupcake-like. Basic ★ It has a strong saltiness. There is a lot of butter. Sesame salt ★ Anchovy × Olive × Caper ★ It feels like Italian! Maple × Bacon ★ It has the sweetness of maple but also the saltiness of bacon, creating a strange taste. Cherry tomato × Basil ★ Parmesan cheese × Black pepper ★ A very punchy flavor. Chili × Lemon × Cilantro ★ Very ethnic. Cilantro cookies are something new! Sansho pepper × Dark chocolate ★ The chocolate had a strong scent of sansho pepper. Recommended for those who like unique cookies.

The anniversary cake was this Strawberry Classic Shortcake. It had a classic composition of sponge cake, whipped cream, and strawberries. The fluffy and smooth whipped cream paired perfectly with the moist and lightly sweet sponge cake. It had a simple cylindrical design. I can understand why my partner chose this over their favorite Mont Blanc. We enjoyed this delicious and heartwarming cake. Thank you for the meal.

The Tokyu Food Show in Shibuya has been renovated and a new deli called Pariya has opened. Previously, there was a gelato shop, but now they only offer deli items. I ordered the usual brown rice bento box and had to choose a main dish, salad, and side dish, with each option costing an extra 100 yen for some reason. The menu looked more expensive than before. The free plum sesame miso furikake was delicious. I wish they would sell the furikake in bottles.

I chose the "4 Deli BOX" at the renewed Tokyu Food Show in Shibuya, where you can select four types of deli items from the stylish showcase. It's perfect for snacking! I chose "Tofu and Tuna Salad," "Glazed Pumpkin and Eggplant with Bonito Flakes," "Black Vinegar Sweet and Sour Pork," and "Meatballs and Rigatoni." Each dish had a gentle flavor and was very delicious ^_^
